Yeah... Brother isn't much fun at the moment. Congratulations! I couldn't find any, so I converted my brother. He converted his friend. Now I'm the only female Hetalian in our trio.

Wow it's been quiet around here... I guess everyone's busy with school work and regular work (Or both in my case). I just thought I'd pop in and tell you guys that I'm not dead; just very busy. I've been writing papers for three different classes as of late, along with other work and having to go to work in the afternoons as well so I haven't had much time to be on here or do much anything else.
Speaking of papers: I'm having to write an informational paper on a controversial topic and I'm having the hardest time deciding what to talk about. I'm leaning towards Same-Sex marriage but with where I live, I don't want to push the envelope to much or I could very well be written of as Homosexual myself and ridiculed for it (Or in the worst case get beat up/shot for it).
The class I'm in is a nice class, the students are well mannered except for a few but I don't want to "release" any of their hateful sides by talking about something touchy. I honestly am just about to admit defeat and talk to my professor because I'm honestly not interested in much of anything that could be considered "Controversial". Same-Sex marriage being an exception.
What do you guys think?

Always good to know, Egypt. That's really not an easy one. Personally, I'd probably write on something like animal testing, which is safer. But... I am rather a coward. Even for considering that, Egypt, I think you're brave. I'm not really sure what to say about it... Other guys? I moved into university yesterday. It's... Weird... It feels like some strange holiday camp at the moment.

I've decided that I'm just not going to care what my other classmates think about me and go ahead and take a crack at discussing Same Sex marriage.... oooooh That sounds fun and scary at the same time~ What's it like, scary I bet? Do you have a room mate or are you by yourself? Do you have a big room or a small room --- Ok I'll shut up now lmao *Flops over*

My communications professor was bashing conservatives one day and then I laughed because I had just turned in an essay about how conservative I was and how I hated people who bashed my political views, and she took off ten points because it "didn't fit the content" of the prompt (it did, she never gave me an example of how it didn't), and idgaf because I'm an outspoken conservative. In English, everything's been about Thomas Jefferson, and I have extremely high scores in that.
I've tended to notice that universities and colleges are a lot more liberal than high school, no matter where you go, so I doubt they'd even care. Like, I'm in the south and whooaaaa boy, I feel all alone with my conservative self.
Basically, do what you will. It doesn't matter what other people think of you.
AUSTRIAAAAAAAAA!!! I'm getting an apartment in a year or two with my Jefferson-loving friend and it's gonna be fun. You having fun?!

It's... Interesting. Had to drop out of the bar crawl last night, and not for reasons you would expect (the lighting caused me to get really ill). I have my own room, but share the kitchen and loo and shower with three other people - a girl and two guys. Both guys take computer science, and the girl politics. One boy's Romanian. All three of them are nice, then we also have three 'Fresher reps' (babysitters) who have to st 'more sober than the least drunk of their fresher's' and show us where stuff is. And make sure nobody gets pregnant or impregnates anyone under the influence of alcohol. Although, one doesn't drink, so the other two get drunk and leave her to be the one staying more sober than the least drunk person. Uni is kind of scary. ^^; I'm not sure I like it, yet. It's different. Tonight I'm out with my department on a 'get to know each other'. Although I have a feeling it's in the bar that made me ill last night, so I'm not sure I'll be able to stay long.
That'll be fun, Meri. And, Egypt, if you're brave enough, go for it.
Well, that professor of yours is a moron. If she did that, technically it's discrimination - and, most likely, you can have her fired for it. At the very least have her face disciplinary for not giving an example when asked for one. A few areas I'm liberal on... Those I'm not, I would not write an essay even entertaining the other idea for the sake of marks. It's stupid. I'm mostly conservative by Meri's definitions, although own make them liberal. Meaning I don't go round murdering people for their differences - yes, that is the definition of conservative where I hail from. You're not completely alone, Meri. Just in your area.

Yeah I talked to one of my classmates today about it because we were both sent out of the class because we hadn't gotten our work done. (He left his papers at home because he had to quickly move to another house, never said why, at 3AM last night. I just plum forgot to finish the assignment. I got 15 questions in and forgot to finish the rest.) He seemed to just say that whatever they want to do is ok, just so long as you don't get me involved. He's the laid back type that doesn't really care what other people do just so long as it doesn't directly involve him. So I'm just hoping I don't have any serious haters in my class (Professor included). She (The teacher) said, on the first day that we all managed to meet together in the same room, that we would all "Die and go to hell" if we plagiarized or cheated on a test. Then turned right back around and said that if we all do good on the tests that she would start taking them off but keep the grades (Thus making our over all grade better) She also lets us have open book.open note tests and we can all work together on them. Oh and did I forget to mention that she's going on 70-something years old and has a hearing aid in each ear? All in all, she's a hoot!

Christ, none of my professors are like, "here have an open-book test!" I met with my math professor and he took out our recent exam and said, "Um...have you ever taken a math before?" and I was like, "oh, shit that bad?"
Also, work is a killer. GOOOOLLLLYYYY i am exhausted.

Hey, you wanna know something about one of the new people in our year? She's an socialist- including the abolition of private property bit. I (and Liet) both decided you were probably the furthest away in terms of political views that we know, and decided that a discussion between you and her would be... interesting.
On a lighter note, she's the same hetalian.

Doing laundry, cooking, coursework... I get five pieces of coursework every week! ^^; I'm only doing three modules, too!
Oh, and programming games and making dolls in my free time... Nearly finished this one of 13 chapter plus epilogue plus prologue... Only two chapters and the epilogue left... Then debugging and play-testing. Because I will have forgotten a variable which sticks you in an infinite loop of doom somewhere. >.< Found one yesterday where everything is fine, until you try to change team members. Then the Inn-Keeper (Finland, seeing as its a Hetalia game for a friend for Christmas, but if she lets me I may make it public, and it was amusing... My favourite set of lines so far are probably from the Italy brothers: S.: Fine. Rescue the idiots. But after that, we're going straight back to Tino's. N.: Yay! Fratello loves me! ... You know Tino? S.: Everyone ****ing knows Tino.) traps you in a loop of doom, and never lets you stop talking to him. Fixed now, hopefully. ^^; Finny wasn't supposed to be evil...
As such, I don't actually have much 'real free' time. Maybe I should just give Charley the prologue for Christmas, then this gift'll last, what, about 8 years...
