It was like a regular sort of day for Czech. Under her arm was a large sewing bag, in her hands a lovely little sampler meant to make a pretty red hankerchief. This little project was just for America whom she had found just a little interest in. Nothing romantic mind you, no one could take the place of her dear Prussia and France. However she felt that if she made something special for him maybe he'd like to become friends?
On the lovely pattern there were his nation's pride...the flag that still needed its stars...a bald eagel needing its beak. At the moment she was sewing the torch to the statue of liberty which would make one part of this gift finished. Of course she knew that any hope of giving it to America was hopeless..she'd sooner fight off 20 zombies before doing something like that.
She continued to walk in silence, head down on her work, a warm glow in her eyes as she entered the kitchen. As soon as she stopped to look up her eyes widen as she saw two countries were in here already. She stiffled a surprised yelp, the needle in hand almost pricking her skin.
'Okay play it cool Czech...'
She said thought to herself as she swallowed the lump in her throat and put on her best cutesy smile.
"Uh...um hi! I am Czech Rebulic! Just um...sorry if I interrupted anythingI have to fill up my water bottle."
She reached deep into her large sewing bag and pulled what had to be one of the biggest water bottles anyone could have laid their eyes on.
"I uh...get very thirsty..."

Tina glanced over at the newcomer who had just walked into the room. Czech Republic? She must've been a European nation. Argentina never thought she'd see the day when an Asian nation, a European nation, and a South American nation were all in the same room together... not arguing like they do at the world conferences, of course. The kitchen almost felt like a room full of short, cutesy people now... not that Tina thinks of herself as short or cutesy...
...Yeah, shut up. She's not.
She watched quietly as Czech pulled out a large water bottle. Argentina scuffled away from the sink to make room for Czech to fill it up. "Thirsty, huh?" Her lips formed a soft smirk. "..Hola, Soy Argentina. Es un placer conocerte." Tina greeted in her native tongue.
Hello, I'm Argentina. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Czech gave a small pause at her native tongue. Though she was European she had heard a thing or two from Spain. She smile and took hold of her skirt and curtsied as it was custom to greetother women in her country.
"ahoj vás madam." She said in her native tongue. A common greeting from a Czech woman to another woman translating "Hello to you Madam."
She walked over to the sink and began to fill it, leaving it there to fill on its own...it was going to take a couple of minutes for it get all the way full. She turned her attention to the other ladies and smiled politely to the two of them. She looked towards the little Asian country and curtsied again.
"ahoj vás madam"
It was custom in Czech to include everyone in a conversation. It was also custom to keep at leasts an arms length unless you were speaking of something in secrecy. Things became quiet and a little uncomfortable. In Czech Republic conversation could go on for hours and hours, of course this was not Czech Republic and she had to get use to that. Suddenly she perked up from her thoughts of home at an idea.
"Excuse me Madam Argentina."
She reached into her sewing back and pulled out the hankercheif she was making for America. Usually she was too shy and modest to show off her projects but being that she was shoing it to another woman made her a little less self concious.
"I was wondering...for America's flag do you know if the red and white strips start with the red...or the white?"
She asked as she showed the present she meant to give to America. Though she wasn't going to tell either of the ladies who it was for.

Argentina lightly leaned against the sink, admiring the detailed stitching of the work-in-progress. A lot of work had gone into this gift, and must have taken a lot of patience and effort. She was curious as to what this project was for, but knowing it wasn't her place to ask or make assumptions, said nothing on the matter. Instead, she answered Czech's answer as best as she could,
"I'm not positive, but I believe it has a red stripe at the very top, and a red stripe at the very bottom. There are seven stripes, so the pattern would be red, white, red, white, red, white, red."
Tina wasn't sure how she remembered all of this.. she didn't pay much attention to America's flag. Honestly, she could care less. But at least her knowing these facts could pay off in the form of being able to tell Czech what she knew.
Argentina rubbed the back of her head and a faint blush tinted her cheeks. "B-but... erm. Like I said, I'm not positive. I think for a better answer, you'd have to ask America himself... after all, it is his flag. Not mine. Why don't you go check with him before you begin stitching?"

The newcomer greeted Singapore with a foreign language that shecouldn't understand. Bit she figured that she was saying hello.
"Hello." Singapore greeted back. Singapore thought that this girl seemed really kind. When she pulled out the American flag, probably for America, she thought that she was quite a skillful person. But when she asked if the red or white started first, Singapore couldn't help but slap her forehead. It seemed that all respect for Czech Republic suddenly vanished.
"Um, miss Czech, I believe that red starts first." Singapore didn't know why she knew that, but she decided that it was good enough of her to answer. She also addressed Czech as miss, since there were two foreign countries who were not from Asia, Singapore decided that she should use some British matters that she learnt from England. It seemed more appropriate than her usual way of adressing someone. However, she still kept her singaporean accent.
"Miss Czech, that's a really nice handkerchief. I'm sure America would like it." Singapore commented.

Czech found herself blushing at the two countries remarks. She was a very modest girl and compliments were very rare for her to recieve. So naturally she recieved with an air of awkwardness.
"Oh thank you Madame Singapore!"
She said humbly as kept her eyes on the hankerchief a warm glow coming over her as she ran a hand over it. She looked to the left, then to the right as to make sure no one but the three were present. She leaned towards the other nations to whisper this in secrecy. She didn't know why she was going to tell them this, but she felt like they deserved some explination...as well as an alibi for her asking such a question.
"I know I sound stupid for asking such a question." She said bluntly. Much like her big brother Germany, Czech was known for being just as blunt when talking about themselves or others.
"But I just couldn't ask him myself. Its a present for him you see...and if I were to ask him he'd get suspicious and ask me why I was asking. And I didn't want him to have a look at it and tell me off on how stupid I was for mixing up the order." She took up her needle, lacing it with red thread and went straight to work.
"You have to promise not to tell him alright? If you do I will never forgive you."
She said bluntly with her large cute smile. It felt good to tell someone her secret...even if she wasn't sure they could keep it.

Tina listened as Czech explained what her stitched project was. She gave a small smile herself. Just as she suspected; a gift for America. Even Argentina had to admit how adorable that was. So much so that she ignored Czech's little threat about never forgiving them if they told. It's not like she was going to tell anyone if it was really something that private and important to her.
Czech seemed like that sweet little "angel" who everyone could accept as their little sister. With her soft smile, Czech could probably tell you that she accidentally incinerated your dog in the fireplace, and you'd still forgive her in the blink of an eye. She could get away with anything, and Argentina wasn't going to suspect different.
"Don't worry none." Tina replied, patting her chest proudly. "I may be a lot of things, but people know I can be trusted with a secret." She gave a glance towards Singapore. "You can too, can't you, Singapore?"

"Of course!" Singapore answered enthusiastically. She loved knowing secrets, and she always did her best to keep it. She wasn't a tattle tail. Unless it was some sort of drug smuggling, smoking illegally, or spitting gum on the floor, she'd tell on them right away. But she can keep this kind of secret.
"Don't worry Miss Czech! My lips are sealed!" Singapore added to make sure it was clear that he was the kind people could trust.

Czech brightened then gave a nod to them as she continued to stitch, Her hands moving so effortlessly that she made the task look easy.
"Danke!"
She looked down to observe it carefully...she had finished the red strips, now time for the white and then the hardest part, all 50 tiny stars. As she threaded her needle for the white she came up with another idea.
"Would you like me to make you two something?"
These two were so kind to her and so accepting, she felt that they deserved nothing less than a gift from her to them, that was just how the Czechs were.

Argentina continued to quietly sip away at the drink in her hand. She watched silently as Czech's figures had effortlessly weaved the thread in and out. Argentina was almost surprised that Czech had to watch what she was doing. If sewing was a professional sport, Czech would be that professional. Then again, she was moving so fast, it was probably not the best idea to look away from the project... she'd probably just end up stabbing herself with the needle. Argentina couldn't sew worth crap. Besides her amazing baking and cooking skills, she'd make a pretty awful housewife...
...Pffft, yeah. Argentina as a housewife. Right, sure. That'll happen. And perhaps Spain's tomatoes would sprout wings, fly high into the sky, and dance the hula in a chorus line amongst the clouds.
Before Argentina knew it, Czech had already finished all of the red stripes and was taking a break to thread the needle with white for the other three stripes. She heard Czech ask if there was anything she could make for the two of them, and Argentina coughed, nearly choking on the liquid in her mouth. She pulled her lips away from the straw and quickly wiped her mouth with her sleeve, coughing another few times. "U-um... a-are you sure.. that making us both something wouldn't be... y-you know... too much trouble or anything?" Tina studdered.

Czech looked at her and saw her stuttering as shyness. She knew how that felt. She remembered when Prussia had given her, her first sewing kit. She had stuttered like a fool and tried to have him return it yet he made her keep it and learn to sew. Back then she had still belonged to Austria and he had been so cheap thathe did not even bother to buy her dresses. He instead made her wear his old hand-me-downs from his youth being as he could not be bothered with such a small, weak child. But when Prussia found her and took a shine to her he gave her fabric, needles, thimbles and a doll to practice on. He had told her that once he had stole her away from Austria he expected her to wear something that would make Prussia proud. Ever since then she treasured her works like a mother would to a child. They meant everything to her, and she wanted to share them with all. Flashing another one of her sunshining smiles, she began to lace in the white stripes now.
"Oh don't worry over it Madame Argentina! I LOVE making presents for friends! Just name anything you want and it is yours! And the same is for you Singapore, just name ANYTHING and I'll sew it!"

"HUH! Anything? For me?" Singapore asked. Normally, she wouldn't get gifts these easily from other countries. Malaysia was especially hard to cooperate with. Not to mention Indonesia and the occasional India. But here was Czech willing to make her a gift for telling her the colors of the American flag. This really threw her off.
"Uh... you don't have to give me anything!" Singapore exclaimed. "I... I have nothing else to offer back! A... And I wouldn't want to bother you!"

Argentina bit her lip and nervously shifted her gaze back to Czech. "W-what Singapore means is... well, all we did was tell you the colors of the American flag. I-I don't know if that's any cause for.. gifts. Y-you know?"
She awkwardly shuffled her feet from side to side, unsure of what she could say. Tina wasn't sure how... comfortable she was accepting gifts from someone who they had only just met. Argentina didn't want to take advantage of her kind offer. Neither she nor Singapore did anything to deserve it, after all.

Czech frowned now, thi wasn't exactly working out as she planned. Of course just someone saying she didn't have to was by far not a 'no way' in her mind. She kept lacing with her nimble hands and smiled all sweet once more.
"Vell it doesn't matter is you don't want me to...cause I am! So you might as vell cooraperate!"
She placed her bag down on the table and opened the bag for them.
"Just pick out any pattern and any fabric you want."
She gave a sudden pause as her mind started to wonder. 'Am I forgetting something??' She wondered. Her eyes fell to the water bottle in the sink and her eyes widened as she saw it was overflowing.
"Oh no! If Big Brother Germany ever saw this he'd kill me!" She cried as she went to turn off the faucet.

Tina watches as the water overflowed and flinched. She set her drink down on the counter and instantly scuttled over to the towels. She grabbed one, tossing another to Czech, and a third to Singapore. "Sh-shit! C-come on, we need to clean this up... like, now before anyone sees!" Argentina quickly dropped to her knees and began mopping up the mess, sighing. "W-we'll look at fabrics after we wipe this up, okay? If you really insist on giving us something..."
However, she still didn't seem to sure. What did Tina want that could be sewn with a needle and thread? She might as well just ask for the simplest thing she could think of... maybe her own flag? Then again, the Sun of May in the middle of her flag might prove to be quite hard, seeing how much detail went into the original design...
Tina let her mind wander to other possibilities... although she wasn't sure what other possibilities there were. A flag might be nice though... something to remind her of home again. Home.. Yet again, the thought of her country drew unwanted tears from her eyes. Were the citizens of Argentina doing alright without her? And what about the rest of South America?
