Singapore watched Czech run at lightning speed. She didn't expect anyone to run that fast. But now wasn't the time to ponder over such trival things. She held her knife and followed Czech as best as she could.
'Czech's gun had attracted more zombies. So I think it's best to stick with my knives.' Singapore concluded. 'Besides, my shooting skills weren't as good as her throwing.'
She heard a groan from her side and reacted quickly. Her knife was quickly injected between the eyes of the zombie. She swiftly retrieved her knife and continued running. She slipped another knife into her free hand, just in case. It was good timing as well, two zombies appeared in front of her. She placed her foot on a tree and jetted upwards, performing a black flip over the two zombies. As she landed, she sliced the two zombies cleanly in half with her knives.
"No mercy." Singapore said out loud. Her voice was cold. The minute she turned around, she was facing another zombie. Her reaction was driving both her knives into the zombie's belly. She pushed it down as she twisted the knives to agonize the creature. It let out a high pitched scream before going to its eternal slumber.
She had lost sight of Czech now. That girl was fast. She stared at the corpses around her and wondered why they came here. It could've been pure conincidence, but she wasn't sure. But she quickly banished the thought and wondered where Czech was. She had to find her fast. She didn't know much about where she was, but still close enough to the warehouse. Perhaps she should wait for someone else to come. Then they could help her find Czech. Yep, waiting it was.

Another Zombie approached out of no where, this one was a little faster than the others as it advanced towards Sing. However, before Sing could even raise one of her knives, the Zombie fell to its knees its head now rolling towards Sing's feet. Now standing where it once did, was Czech with her rapier covered in the blood of the undead. Just as expected, the blade had sliced the Zombie's head clean off. Just as its purpose was intented for. There was a small splattered on her pretty face where her sweet smile seemed to be plastered.
"Looks like you had a few guests Madame Singapore!" She ackwoledged the corpses on the ground one with a knife wound dead center of its face, while the others had been cut cleaning in half. 'Well it seems as though this little Asian has a sadstic streak of her own.' In her mind it was magnificent work...it was just as good as any mercanary. After taking a moment to gaze at the the dead undead she looked back up to Sing and gave her large sweet smile.
"Well I'm glad to see you kept them entertained! Such a wonderful hostess you are Madame Singapore!"

Fate had shown its favor on Spain when he didn’t hear any other gunshots.
However, it seemed to have a bone to pick with him as well.
He thought it was a bit strange when he didn’t see any zombies even though he knew there were some around.
And no wonder, when he finally found some, they were huddling around something on the ground.
A deadly poison called curiosity infected his veins, propelling him closer to the group of undead. They did seem to travel in packs, but seeing them in a circle like that was unnerving to the usually calm nation. Were they somehow learning to plan together?
One whiff of the air around him told him he was being irrational. On the breeze, muffled under the smell the living corpses were giving was the smell of something just starting to decompose; they were standing around the body of a human that looked unrealistically fresh.
The worst part was, the zombies were eating the various appendages like they were some kind of grotesque candy.
Not even the bones were spared.
He couldn’t bring himself to turn away from the macabre scene, not even when he saw one plunge it’s clawed hand into the chest cavity, rip out the heart that was still intact and untouched by decay, and eat it bit by bit until nothing – not even one scrap of tissue – remained of the organ.
Centuries on the battlefield and fighting bulls for sport couldn’t compare to the horror of this moment.
Dryly swallowing, he tightened his grip on his axe and shifted further, trying not to gag on the excessive fumes of the dead.
Lord above, why do these inhuman beings exist? He prayed, trying to even out his breathing. If he tried to run into the fight as he was, he’d just get himself killed.
He had to think this through.
The best idea was to get a partner and get them on opposite sides, but since he was alone, that was no good. He also couldn’t contact Sing because she was helping the other nation and taking out her own zombies.
Looked like he was on his own for this round.
Well, I guess I have no other choice.
Drawing a deep breath, he shifted forward and jumped the zombie closest to him, igniting the flames of battle and granting the attention of the others. “Hello everyone. Excellent night out, isn’t it?” They incoherently moaned in response, moving slowly towards him only to meet with his blade. “Too bad you won’t survive it.”
Let’s just hope I do.

Looks like being patient had its good times. She didn't even need to wait for Czech. She came to her.
"Thank you miss Czech." Singapore said. "For saving my life from a gruesome death."
Then, Singapore heard something. More groans, but further away. She motioned to Czech to follow her as Singapore followed the sound. As she got closer, she could detect a faint swish of a blade and possibly some dead zombies falling to the ground.
'Dead zombies?' did Singapore just made a joke?
She moved closer and closer to the sound. As she did, she made her feet move slower and lighter, hoping to not make any noises. Wen she got to the scene, she saw Spain battling a few zombies on his own. By instinct, she jumped right into Spain's battlefield to help him out. She ran towards to closest zombie and stabbed it through the chest. She kicked the corpse away and ran toward another target. This time, using both knives, she slashed across its neck and stabbed it in the stomach to make sure it was dead.
As she was about to choose her next target, a zombie came from begin her completely unnoticed. Singapore tried to dodge it, but wasn't fast enough. Its hand knocked her heard on the head and causing her glasses to fall off. Great, now she was blind. A blind and very vulnerable prey. She made a stupid mistake of dropping her knives to look or her glasses. She bent down and felt the ground around her. She couldn't feel anything that resembled her glasses.
She was starting to freak out a little now. She was right in the middle of a fight and she lost her glasses. She put all her concentration into looking for her glasses and calming herself down, that she didn't notice that the zombie that attacked her was making another run towards her.

((Dear singing mushrooms...how in the world will I keep up with you epic posters? <3 I hope this makes up for it...a little ^^))
Japan sensed something amiss when no one appeared in his line of sight after a few minutes. He reasoned that the others must have moved too far away from the warehouse, and the thought made him frown. 'They are taking too long. I will go down and check on them. I am only going to be in trouble if they are all injured...' He could only hope that they were not. He figured he would have received some sort of signal, or perhaps watched a few of the other nations from inside coming to assist the others if that had been the case, but so far, nothing.
He sighed, removing his hands from his belt and walked to the metal ladder. His limbs ached, protesting his movements, but he ignored them as he descended the metal rungs. He didn't bother to climb the entire way down, jumping off and as soon as he hit the ground, running off in the direction where he thought the others had gone. He only paused to remove his shuriken from the tree, fearing the pains would make it too difficult to continue. The side effects of the pill were still bothering him, but he knew he would forget them as soon as he saw the others.
He turned his head sharply at the sound of a familiar voice. Spain. He took off in that direction, careful to stick to the shadows and remain alert to his surroundings. The heavy smell of iron greeted him, and he stopped, ducking behind a tree at the familiarity of it. Blood. He took a shallow breath, not wanting to breathe too deeply and gag. He could not allow himself to jump to conclusions, or he would act too rashly. 'I do not know if it is Spain-san or the others. I must be cautious and try to figure out what is going on.'
Slowly, he inched closer, treading lightly as he neared the others. He could hear them now, all three of them having come to the same location. The unmistakable smell of rotting flesh washed over him, accompanied by the low moans as flesh brushed awkwardly against the dirt. Some of the flesh caught on twigs, ripping away as the undead shuffled and stumbled towards where Japan guessed the others were currently fighting. The moans echoed through the night, low and long. If he hadn't been so familiar with the smell of decay or been a less composed nation he might have retched. But the stench only awakened old memories, only this time there were no screams of terror or anguish to pierce his ears and haunt his dreams.
'How unfortunate'
He glanced around the tree, and his hand flew to the handle of his katana. He drew the blade in one quick movement, the metal barely making a sound as it slid free. With his other hand, he grabbed a small kunai; the extra metal would come in handy if he needed to block or distract rather than to cut. He moved swiftly, afraid he would not make it in time. He had noticed Singapore drop to the ground, though he could not see her reason for doing so. Still, she was surrounded by enemies...not exactly the most ideal time or place to simply drop. However, he was more concerned with whether she was injured or not.
He caught sight of Spain, though the nation was busy and had yet to notice Singapore's plight. Adrenaline coursing through him, he stepped immediately into the battle, using his katana to slice through the heads of the zombies, standing or dead. Liquid splattered his face (blood, he was sure) but he ignored it, shifting quickly to shove another zombie back and away from Singapore as he sliced through the head of another. Stabbing would take two movements, where slicing took one...and the more movements he made the less chance Singapore had of being rescued.
A gleam of metal caught his eye, and he ducked, kicking another zombie back while snatching up his discovery. "Singapore-san! Ah, your glasses..." Trying to hide a wince (he was definitely feeling this in the morning), he used his momentum to flip upright, flattening a zombie with the heel of his foot and then finishing it with a slice to the head. He turned to the fallen nation, using the length of his blade to his advantage to keep the undead back while reaching out with his other hand (mindful of his kunai, though it was not very sharp) to the nation. In it he clutched her glasses, though he was unsure as to whether she could see them.
"I apologize for my late arrival...ah, these are yours." Inwardly, he apologized for his quick reply, though he did her the politeness of waiting for her to take her glasses back from him while still working to keep the zombies away with his blade (and the occasional kick to push them back).

She heard an arrival of yet another nation. She recognized the voice but couldn't see his face. She followed the sound of the voice and reached out to that direction. She felt someone's hand, he was holding on to something. She continued feeling the object that was dangling on his fingertips until she realized that those were her glasses. She quickly took them and put them on. Now, Singapore could see! She saw Japan fending off a few zombies and Spain still fighting.
"Xie xie ni, Japan!" Thank you She stood up and picked up her knives. She threw one of her knives at a zombie who was about to jump Japan. The momentum of the knife threw him off course, he landed beside Japan and stayed there. She pulled out her knife and stabbed another zombie that Japan kicked away. She took a quick glance and saw that Japan was in pain.
"Japan! You shouldn't fight if you're hurt!" Singapore told him. She stood in front of him and slit one of the zombie's throats. "In return for finding my glasses, I'll help you! So don't push yourself!"

Japan smiled, nodding gratefully to Singapore since stopping would prove fatal to them both. However, now that Singapore held her weapons again, he knew he could take the offensive and stop merely keeping the space around them both safe. He changed tactics, slicing into the skulls of the zombies that approached him. A moan far too close for comfort caused him to swivel his stance, only to catch a gleam of metal crushing in the skull of a zombie. He ducked as one of the zombies staggered closer, plucking out the knife and, before handing it back to her, discreetly stabbing it through the back of the head to destroy the brain before plucking it out and offering it to her. Hopefully, the blood would just look like that of the other zombies she had killed.
His katana kept the zombies at a distance, and other than the few that managed to stagger forward arrhythmically he could take out several of them if he aimed carefully. His joints continued their protest, though he ignored them as he moved so that he was just a little closer to Singapore. He would have to fight and talk all at once, and he could only hope he was not as out of breath as he felt. "I have not been injured in this fight, Singapore-san. I will have plenty of time to recover once we have dealt with these. But for now, please assist me by aiming for their brains. Admittedly I am no zombie expert, but it is usually how they are killed when fire is not available." He left out his source of knowledge--video games based on careful research of internet and book heretics screaming of the impending apocalypse that was now truly upon them--and refocused on swinging his katana more fluidly.
The undead that remained moaned and shuffled in their direction, trampling their fallen carelessly as they reached blindly ahead. The closest met the blade, the rip and crunch of the metal tearing through the skulls and brains caused Japan to focus all the harder on his task, suppressing memories that threatened to distract him. These were not enemy soldiers of his once friend; they were zombies, threats to the entire human race that had to be eradicated. He further immersed himself in this mantra, allowing the moans to drown out the ghosts of screams and prayers in foreign tongues that now he understood perfectly.
"Where is Spain-san, and the other nation?" He could not stop to apologize for not knowing the other, though mentally he did. "Perhaps our focus should be reuniting with them in order to make sure that they are uninjured." And to give them strength in numbers, though the thought was obvious enough to leave unvoiced.

((Japan... I'm right beside you. ;A; ))
Something was wrong.
Very, very wrong.
In the middle of his battle, a couple of the zombies disappeared.
No, not like died by his blade.
More like there one minute, and not the next.
Shit! Where'd they go?! This was bad, very bad. What could have possibly drawn them away from him? And how could he have lost them like that?! Where-
Ah, that's where. Spain calmed down a bit when he saw that they had fallen under someone else's blade.
Namely Singapore's.
"Gracias!" He grunted, focusing on his battles. The important thing was to eliminate all of the zombies right now. He couldn't spare focus to anything else.
In fact, he didn't even notice when Singapore lost her glasses. But Fate liked him enough, so she sent him another nation to help: Japan.
He half-registered their conversation, but from what he got of it, Sing wasn't killing them properly and he was apparently not there anymore.
"I'm right here~!" He answered, taking down another zombie. "And completely fine!"
The other nation? Now where were they? "Sing! Wasn't the other nation with you?"

Spain had finally reacted to Singapore's and Japan's existence. But then, she heard the very question that was haunting her until now, 'Where was Czech?'.
"I thought she was following me! I was sure Czech was following me!" Singapore said. "I... I montioned to her to follow me!"
Singapore was really frighten now. No, she was was worrying like mad! She had been too clumsy to not check if she was behind her.
"Paiseh ah!!!" Clumsy she called herself. But now, she couldn't look for her, he had to help Spain and Japan. She stabbed a zombie as she wondered where Czech was. Then, as she slit the neck of another zombie, she realized something, she was scared to leave the two other nations in search of the other. No choice then. She couldn't become a coward in front of her seniors.
"Spain! Japan! I'm going to look for Czech! Please don't while I'm gone!" she shouted to them before running towards the direction she ha came from. Back to the path when he and Czech were last together.

(SOOOOO sorry for the lack of not being here...I have been busy what with my computer screen shattering into a thousand pieces...TRUST ME...DETAILS ARE NOT WANTED NOR NEEDED...Hmm I have disappeared...I wonder what has become of me!!! Well then I'll just have to go figure that out! *goes out and searches for self* )
Czech had not disappeared, in fact she was quite near, she however had a plan of her own to put to use. Anyone could agree that Czech had the most superb sense of smell, sight and hearing out of most. She had after all lived on her surival skills alone for a long period of her young life and always found ways to put them to good use. When she stood off to the side ready to chrage in with her rapier in a bloodbath, she was stopped as her ears caught what the others had not; the sounds of more Zombies, an ambush.
She had to think quickly for the enemy was not going to wait up on her. Her first thought was to take one of the other nations with her to deal with them but seeing how they were busy decided she could handle it, after all what were a few twenty of so Zombies to her?
So using her swifting footing, she managed to get behind each one without a single noise uttered. There they were all in a line, all she had to do was to make noise to attract them away from her comrades. She placed her foot down and intentionally stepped on a lone twig. The sound was almost deafening as the Zombies began to turn to her. She smile at them, a rather sweet and unhinged smile as she waved to them.
"Guten Abend! Nice to see you guys! I'm sorry but my friends over there are too busy playing with your friends right now. But you can play with me...if you like..."
A slow sadstic smile overcame her once again at the very thought of the blood she was about to spill all over the forist floor. Oh how glorious it would be. The Undead looked at her and immediately forgot about the others. Just the sight of young fresh meat only a few feet away was enough to make them forget the others.
One very foolish one advanced at her, expecting her to be an easy target to take down. This one no sooner found its head sliced off and rolling over to its comrades. Czech had a small blood splatter once more on her face as she smiled at them. If all of them were as stupid as this one this would be one easy task!
"Oh vhere are my manners? As a Czech it is my duty to entertain my guests...entertain them all...until they DROP."

Singapore left th sight and began her search. But not far off she heard a familiar slice of a knife. She turned to the direction of the sound and ran towards it only to find Czech with a smile that did not seem to fit the image of Czech that Singapore had engraved in her mind. She felt a shiver run up her spine as she saw the zombie's head roll. She didn't know why she felt nauseous looking at that scene when she herself perform it before several times up close. She schook the feeling away and approached the party. She threw her knives at two at the zombies and watched them fall to the ground.
"Found you Czech!" Singapore said as she tilted her head and gave her a smile.

((*sobs and hugs Spain since IC Japan wouldn't hug him* D: It's not you...Japan's just an old person, and concentrating on the enemies that were around them. Reaching down and picking up glasses while still kicking away/slicing zombies will do that to you. XD And I apologize a million times for keeping this thread at a standstill *sniffles* And I did not know zombies were capable of planning ambushes...since they don't logically do anything O.o *confused*))
"Spain-san, ah thank goodness!" He did not even bother to hide his relief, though he could not turn to see the sunny nation. He felt bad that he had not noticed him there before, but hoped the man would not be overly upset with him. He had been focusing on kicking away zombies (only to have to kill them later) while simultaneously reaching to retrieve Singapore's glasses. And by no means was he young anymore. The aches and pains in his joints didn't help matters either, but he would have time to attend to those later. "I am relieved to hear your voice once more."
His unease had dissipated when Spain had called out to them, but it gathered like storm clouds once more at the mention of the other missing nation. He frowned as he sliced through another zombie, careful to check that the cut went through its brain. He hoped that the other nation was faring well; they did not necessarily have the numbers to deal with one missing or wounded person and to defend each other. However, he did not desire to lose anyone. Before he could open his mouth to ask the others about a plan, Singapore yelled to both himself and Spain, declaring that she was going to go and find Czech.
'No! Separating from us will only increase the chances of someone becoming hurt. However, staying together means that the zombies are more likely to come to us, which decreases our chances of going to help Czech-san. It is true that we are all capable fighters...as far as I have observed...but being alone is the worst thing that we could do at this point.'
These thoughts raced through his head, but before he could voice his objections Singapore had taken off, leaving him to assist Spain in defeating the zombies. Adjusting his stance, he sliced through several zombies, letting out an almost low hiss through his teeth as the movement jarred his protesting muscles. He could only hope that Spain did not hear, or worse, mistake it for a noise of injury from the fight. Japan was more careful now, even more alert to Spain's presence now that he knew exactly where he was. He was sure the medics would not be pleased to have to treat an injury inflicted by on of their own...even if it would have been easier to mend.
"Spain-san, I am worried for the other two...so I believe we should finish up here as quickly as we can in order to assist them." Of course, that task was easier said than done, but it seemed the zombie numbers were lessening even as he spoke (and sliced through more of the undead). He turned his head slightly, careful to keep the enemy in his peripheral vision. He could see that Spain's enemies were lessening as well...not that he expected anything less from the other nation. Spain was a tough nation; Japan admired that about him, even if he did not voice the compliment.

((ASDFK I'm so sorry! ;A; I completely forgot about this thread!))
Spain spun, slicing the top of a nearby zombie's head off and nearly loping off another's. "Well, it's not like the middle of a fight is exactly the best place for chit-chat."
Said battle had begun to wear on him for he hadn't fought like this in a while. He had fought, yes, but usually it was only one or two zombies, not a large group like this. They seemed to be coming from everywhere and just appearing from the shadows and from all around, as if drawn to them like magnets.
"Si, I agree." His usually cheerful and strong voice sounded strained and tired, like he had been running all day (not that that wasn't part-way true, but usually during patrols he could rest a bit, especially since he always had a partner). "They're strong, for sure, but they're also young and at least one of them is a bit reckless.
And be careful, Japon. These monsters are a bit different than most, don't you think?"

Singapore seeing that the last few zombies had fallen, she grabbed Czech and ran towards the others.
"Come on Czech! Spain and Japan are worried for you!!" Singapore told her. She held on to Czech's wrist in fear of she would just disappear from her sight. The teenage nation huffed as she finally caught sight of the the two male nations.
"Uncle Spain! Uncle Japan!" She called to them. "I found her!!"

Japan killed another zombie cleanly, not pausing before attacking another. The sooner they finished off the zombies around them, the sooner they could all withdraw and rest. And judging by the strain in Spain's voice (not to mention the strain in his own muscles), they would be needing that rest very soon. The zombies seemed to be endless, though he reasoned that more were probably being attracted to the fight. They needed to end it...and quickly. He swung the katana in a quick arc, slicing through several zombies and pulling the blade at the last second to block an incoming undead limb.
"Hai, we must finish this quickly, for all of our sakes. I am surprised that no one else has come from the warehouse to ascertain our whereabouts." He concentrated for a moment on not allowing any of the zombies closest to him through his defenses, hissing a little as a particularly odd block sent aches through his arm. "We should inform the others of this as soon as we are able. Perhaps it will help them in further studying the undead and to find a cure for all of this." He ducked as a zombie lunged for him, pushing the undead away from him with one hand until he could properly use his blade.
Relief flooded through him at the sound of Singapore's voice informing them all that she had found the other nation. It seemed that now they stood a better chance of ending the fight quickly, since all four of them could more easily take on the remaining undead than just Spain and himself alone. "I am relieved to hear this, Singapore-san." He winced again as he dodged, mentally cursing his age and the after effects of the pill he had taken. He put all of his focus into the fight, deciding it best to refrain from exerting himself more than necessary.
