"Tch, I wasn't planning to." England merely grumbled in response, unwilling to admit that he was blushing in embarrassment and blaming the red on his cheeks on the cold instead. "Like hell I'll owe you. If anything, you should owe me for setting this entire place up in the first place." And spending one week all alone in the warehouse and England hated hated hated being alone, so those damn nations better be grateful because he was never going to do that again. In a sense, he was glad that Argentina had decided to tag along. Maybe he wouldn't even have gotten the balls to go out alone in the first place, and the scouting wouldn't have been done.
Speaking of which...
"I tried to find some scouts lying around doing nothing, but apparently, everybody had been busy. Surprising, considering there's not much to do, but... I couldn't find anyone qualified. But we're minutemen, right? We're trained to be ready in the time space of a minute, and are balanced in every aspect of a fight. We would've been second choices for a perimeter scout anyways. This had to be done." he then turned his eyes to the forest and shivered slightly. "Come on, we'll warm up if we run a little." And, boots crunching in the thin layer of packed snow, he broke into a light jog.

Argentina thought she caught a hint of red dusted across England's face. It couldn't be. It just couldn't be that the sarcastic, crude Englishman was actually embarrassed - or maybe even flustered? Like England, Argentina was in denial (As it was surprising enough), and avoided showing any reaction, interest, or curiosity.
Minutemen. Ah, minutemen. Sometimes, Argentina wondered why she had volunteered for this duty. Yes, maybe she was quick to react in a situation that needed her assistance, but sometimes, Argentina just didn't want to react. It sucked to be dragged out of bed in the middle of the night, just to scout, or get rid of some stragglers.
Again, Tina avoided any response to the statement and broke into a sprint after England. She made sure to keep her mouth closed and breathe through her nose to avoid any sharp, frozen pains in her lungs. "Oi. How about we make this fun?" A smile spread across Argentina's face. Why not at least make an attempt to be friendly and polite? "I'll race ya. You know this place well enough to find out a good finish line, right?"

"A race?" Though it probably wasn't a good idea to let themselves fall into a false sense of security by playing games, England admitted that the running would probably warm him up a little. Then again, with the heavy gun and winter gear he was carrying, he didn't know how fast or far he'd be able to run. All he knew was that he'd be at a very distinct disadvantage, and that Argentina would very easily run past him for sure.
And then he realized that he was analyzing the situation like he would analyze a battlefield, to know what tactical moves to make and what piece to move on which part of the board. Lately, that was all it had been about- survival of the fittest. England really did have to stop thinking of that sometimes. He often told the other nations to entertain themselves and get their minds off the zombie threat to avoid paranoia and madness, but... he wasn't doing any better.
"Alright, we'll race." it would perhaps aid in getting his mind off of his duties for a while. "Until the first trees that mark the border of the forest with the plain." Said trees were about 200 meters away, if England's estimations were correct. If they both started at a regular rhythm, and England fell behind, he'd probably fall in behind Argentina with a few seconds more. Ah well.
"Ready?"

Argentina dug her heel into the snow and skidded to a stop. She began bouncing back and forth with much agility on her feet, or as most people would call it, "jogging in place". "Ready!" She agreed with a grin on her face.
Oh, Argentina knew England would be at a disadvantage. She knew, but why should it matter? That meant Argentina had a good chance of winning. And Tina loves winning. Especially if it meant leaving England in the dirt. The only thing that could ever make this better would be if it were Brazil she was beating in a battle of the fittest.
"Alright! On your mark or mine?" Argentina questioned, planting her feet in the ground and bending her front knee ever so slightly in running preparation. Anyone with eyes could see that she was eager to beat England at something. Anything.
(Screw sportsmanship, Tina has pride. >8U
Sorry this is so short, but think of this as me coming out of my hiatus. <3)
