He figured Poland would be the more annoying one. He had heard stories about the nation from Lithuania and, given how he acted whenever they used to have their World Meetings, Poland was strange. "Yeah, Poland seems kinda...flamboyant." He shrugged. As crazy as Poland was, America considered him a pretty cool guy. He made no mention of Slovakia, mainly because he hadn't spoken with that nation all too much. It simply seemed, however, that Czech's siblings were just protective of her. Nothing to be angry over- it was a trait most siblings around the world shared. Or, at least, so America assumed. He had no idea what was normal over in Europe anymore.
He was tempted to turn around when Czech touched his shoulder, but he believed she would say more on the subject of her brothers and sisters (which he was actually finding pretty interesting, even if it wasn't all about him). "Hm? Watch my back?" He blinked. "Why's that?"
It occurred to him that she might mean it literally, that a zombie might actually be sneaking up on him, and he grabbed hold of his rifle, ready to spin around if she told him to.

Czech wanted to laugh! Flamboyant? He was being generous! Poland was a needy attention seeker...but she had to admit that she felt just a little affection and admiration for her big brother.
"Even thought the idiot drives me nuts...I can't help be admit that I admire him greatly. He was pretty powerful and still in Central Europe considered pretty powerful...I think my fondest memory of us together was when he protected me from Cousin Russia when he wanted to take me away..."
She remembered it well...she was still small and was too weak to defend herself from the likes of her ruthless big cousin Russia. But when he attempted to bring her with him to form with his country Poland was there along with Lithuania to keep her from going with him.
She sighed...such fond memories were a luxury...yet this was the one time that she started to respect her beloved big brother. She played with her scarf feeling small tears touch her eyes but blinked them back...Her gaze turned to America now as she gave a large grin.
"What I admired about my brother was his bravery! He can look at Cousin Russia and feel no fear! Though I scare Russia with my little 'mood swings' I still have to acknowledge how scary he can be!"
She looked up and a small twitch came to her eye...did he not hear what she said? Slovakia was an over controlling big brother who never wanted her to be near a male nation and would kill them if they were found near her...Well at least attempt to.
"I said you should watch your back for my brother, Slovakia...at times like these he'll sneak up on you and attack before you knew what hit you!" She suddenly latched onto America's arm hugging it tightly at the sudden thought of it.
"I wouldn't want that to happen to you! You're a really special person!" She said that with the greatest respects...being that he was special...there was no other like him. She froze realizing she had hugged him and pulled back quickly.
"I--I'm sorry!" She said with her eyes turned away...wondering what made her do that? Perhaps it was that she had gotten so use to him she felt comfortable hugging...but that mean he was!

Egypt was getting tired of staying in the warehouse so he decided to go out on a patrol to pass the time and to visit Uher's grave. He had left by himself, though he wasn't really alone, he had Uher's ghost watching over him and a conjured bird to scout ahead. Uher was walking just ahead of Egypt, ghosting over the freshly fallen snow, making small indents as she went. As Egypt neared the edge of the forest he saw two masses, standing on the path. He put a hand on his pistol, at the ready encase it was two zombies. As he drew nearer he saw that it was only Czech and America. Egypt relaxed, moving his hand off of his pistol. Uher, trotted past the two, seeming to enjoy making extra deep tracks in the snow as she past. Egypt nodded to the two nations as he past, following the tracks Uher had made.
'Well this doesn't look creepy AT ALL...' (Sarcasm)

When Czech suddenly pulled away from the hug, America was confused. Why should she be sorry? It was a hug, not a kiss or something a lover would give. America liked hugs as much as the next person, and he saw no reason why they shouldn't hug. Maybe, like usual, it was different in European culture. Even though he was sure that they actually kissed to show greetings, or something along those lines.
"Don't apologize!" he exclaimed. "I like being called special! And hugs are awesome! Man, if people gave each other hugs everyday, the world would be a better place, you know?" He winked in her direction, grinning. "Next time you want a hug, just hug me, alright? You don't gotta be afraid. I'll hug right back." He'd hug everyone that he liked, and he liked Czech.
He was about to comment some more on her brother when he noticed another nation walking past them. It wasn't too difficult to miss the clothing of the African country, so America was easily able to tell who it was. "Hey, Egypt!" he greeted. "Whatcha doing out here?"

Egypt stopped and looked back to America and Czech.
"I needed to get some fresh air and thing about somethings alone..."
The Mediterranean nation glanced back at Uher, who was now visible to the other two nations. She wagged her tail softly, letting a few eery barks catch to the breeze.
"I also wanted to make sure of something..." Egypt's eyes grew more somber. "I wanted to properly make Uher a head-marker for where she lies."
((ugh, short short short sorry~))

At this Czech was fast to latch onto his arm once more without a word. She had a cute smile on her face and a small rosy blush. She was glad that he didn't mind her random hugs. Either she was oblivious or unknowledable, she had one trait that was simular to Poland. Once she befriended someone she would cling to them like they were family.
She looked up suddenly at the sight of a figure about to pull out her gun but as soon as she saw who it was she suddenly beamed.
"Bunk Buddy!" She cried her pet name for her bunkmate who was more formily known as Egypt. She wondered why was he hear out of of the blue in the middle night thinking maybe he had heard her get up and was here to drag her back to bed...or maybe had the same idea as she did about a nightly stroll! She hoped that it was the latter.
Her sharp ears caught wind of the barking as her eyes fell forward and could barely make out the shape of the dog. Once being a Gypsy she had been knowledgable of how to see mythical creatures. However after all the witch hunts she was forced to put it aside, forcing her to forget most of her 'fairies eye'. Her eyes widen and she gave a very sweet smile.
"Oh! I see! Well I'm sure that sweet Uher will love the sentament Egypt!" She turned slightly towards America to give him a sideways whisper.
"Uher is his ghost dog...she's hear with us now..."

Egypt looked to Uher. Uher looked to Egypt. The Mediterranean nation smiled softly, hand reaching up to touch the gold earring in his ear.
"Yes... I believe that she will be happy as well." Egypt looked to Czech.
"I would believe the proper term would be the ghost of my dog... because she was alive not to long ago..."
Egypt's eyes grew some what grim as he thought back on how he had snapped and lost control, going on a zombie killing spree in a fit of rage.
"I didn't get to make a proper grave stone when I was out here last, because it was getting dark and I needed the move on to the warehouse." He looked around, checking the edge of the woods.
"Now that I am set up at the warehouse, I can go make her a proper head-marker."

Ghost.
Ghosts weren't exactly America's cup of tea.
His eyes grew wide as he looked around, trying to spot a glimpse of the dog-ghost that Czech and Egypt were talking about. The thing that made it freakier was the fact that it had died recently. What if there was some sort of pent-up rage? What if it started haunting the nations? Oh, god, America wished he had all of his ghost repelling materials! Not for the first time, he cursed the zombies for coming before he had a chance to memorize his 'ghost away' statements.
"Uh, wh-where's the ghost?" he asked in a hushed voice, keeping his body as close as he could to Czech's.

Egypt understood why America was scared. He was once scared of ghost and the like because of the scary rituals his mother, Ancient Egypt, would do when he was very young. The Mediterranean nation walked over to where Uher was and knelt down. Bringing back all of his memories about soul sharing he calmly extended his hand in front of his and began to concentrate. His hand began to glow lightly, then that energy transferred to Uher's ghost. He had been given Uher to raise as a child so they had grown up together and thus were very close. Soon the slightly transparent form of Uher came into full view.
"She was picked by my mother for me to raise and thus our souls became very close. This is why I can share my spirit energy with her to make her more visible." Egypt looked to America.
"She is very protective of me but because I acknowledge you both as asdekae'ee, or friends, she will be very kind to you."
As he spoke he gently petted Uher on the head. Uher was calm the entire time, tongue lolling out as she almost seemed to smile reassuringly to America. Uher stood up and gently floated over to Czech and America. Coming with in a few feet she stopped and sat down again, looking up to them with a slightly tilted head, one ear flopping to the side.

Czech watched as the vision of Uher came into perspective...now she could see the dog completely. It was like she had temporarily lost a pair of glasses and vision was blurred only moments again. She noticed how America was keeping very close to her forcing her gaze to go up as a small look of surprise touched her eyes. Her ever observant gaze could see the fear and instantly her big sister instincts kicked in once more as she gave a warm smile reaching up and flicking him playfully in the right temple of his head. She grinned.
"Don't be scared Mr. America!" She said in a small whisper as to to not embarrass him in front of Egypt. "She's very friendly! You'll find that there is nothing to worry about!" She stood up on her tip toes and planted a quick peck on his forehead a sister would to a sibling as her cheeks grew warm...in her nation this was considered proper big sister behavior (which could of been considered strange and conflicting being that a simple hug between aquaintences was considered a bit ackward) The Europeans that resided in Central Europe were just nit picky like that.

To prove Czech right Uher scooched froward, almost crawling on her belly util she was almost touching them. Then she proceeded to roll on to her back, showing her tummy off, as it to say 'won't you rub my tummy?' Egypt sighed softly.
"You were always a glutton for attention weren't you~?" The Mediterranean nation walked over and crouched where Uher was laying. He extended on sun tanned hand to gently rub Uher's stomach.
"I believe that you will be able to pet her, if you want that is..."

Czech told him not to be scared, Egypt tried assuring him the ghost was kind, but America didn't like ghosts. If this dog was a ghost, that could mean that every zombie they had ever killed would be a ghost.
Zombie ghosts didn't sound all that fun.
He swallowed when Czech kissed his forehead in a comforting manner, though he didn't take any move to pet the dog. In fact, when it rolled over on it's back and offered it's stomach for him to pet, America bit his lip, backing up slightly. It's just a dog, he told himself. A dog won't hurt you. A ghost-dog, on the other hand, might possibly put him in contact with other ghostly spirits and then he'd see them all the time and, "I-I-I don't think it likes me, s-so I won't, uh...pe-pet it," America managed to stammer out, feeling his cheeks heat up. This was utterly humiliating, and he had half a mind to pet the ghost-dog simply so he could look brave.

Czech found her eyes give off a very sad look...she wished that he wasn't scared...thought she knew that she could not force him unless she had the intent to traumatize him. She had to admit though, petting a ghost dog was an odd yet really cool experience...
To demonstrate she got down on one knee and touched Uher's bellie feeling her presence as she giggled at the attention hungry dog! She was too cute! She wished she had a dog but couldnt on account of being allergic.
She stood up and stood in front of America looking up at him as he was much taller than she was. She was determined that he'd at least try it! To her you should try everything (if safe) you can possibly do and experience life to the fullest! And right now she felt that he should at least experience touching a ghost dog at least once!
"You don't want to now...but...maybe you'll try later?"
She then proceeded to use her ultimate secret weapon. She enfolded her fingers together in a begging motion, jutting her lip out in a pout then her eyes began to grow big and shiny. This was known as the 'Czech Pout'. A technique of manipulation where she would make this face of pure adorableness that made it near impossible for others to refuse her.
"Please America?" She said his first name without the 'Mister' to sweeten the deal...if this didn't work against America then nothing in this world would.

America caught sight of her pout and shifted his feet, refusing to look at the ghost-dog. He couldn't believe that Egypt actually had a ghost following him everywhere. Just the mere thought sent shivers running down America's spine. How many other nations had ghosts? He didn't have a ghost, did he? And what if these ghosts started attacking people and controlling them or something like he saw in the movies?
After all, zombies were only in the movies before, and now look.
Swallowing, he glanced down, finding it very hard to reject Czech and her pout. Really, he thought he had one of the ultimate puppy eyes in the world, but he figured that a girl would obviously do better than he would, especially one so petite and pretty. Taking he deep breath, he finally gave a short nod, hating himself more and more for agreeing (but, as he reminded himself, he really couldn't disagree).
"F-Fine," he said in a hushed voice, hoping only Czech could hear him. "But I-I'm gonna keep my eyes closed the whole time!"

(I'm in the mood for some action, Sorry in advance~!) Uher suddenly sprung up and whipped around, shifting into a definsive stance, letting out a soft reverberating growl. Her keen eyed gazed off, locking onto the edge of the woods. Egypt's hand emediatly went for his khopesh. Unsheithing it he dropped down into a definsive stand along side his ghostly compainion. "One of the good things of having a ghost for a compainion is that you will always know is someone is there..." Suddenly a black eagle crested over the tree line, gliding down to Egypts extended arm. "What have you spotted?" Landing swiftly the bird skreeched softly then evaporated into a golden mist that soked into the Mediterranean nation's skin. Egypt closed his eyes softly, seeing a vision of a hoard of zombies meandering south towards their small group. 'Well there goes my plans...' Egypt opened his eyes and looked back to Czech and America. "A hoard is comming..."
