Drinking.
A simple action that held little to no concquence right? Well to Czech Republic drinking never held any consequence what so ever...well to put it simply she never remembered doing anything dangerous when she got drunk.
It was her first real moment of peace...no scouting to do, no pesky Zombies and not even her annoying brother Poland was in sight. So how was the young nation going to spend this moment all to herself? Sit on the couch and drink away. Now usually Czech spent her free time sewing, knitting, or croquetting but today was just one of those days that she was so stressed that picking up a needle seemed to have her on edge. Naturally Czech thought that it would be best to just sit back and relax and what better why than beer.
She had a case by her side of her own Czech beer arguably the best in all of Europe. On the table across from her were five empty bottles of beer that she had consumed in under four minutes. Yet she was in no way buzzed or hazy in any way possible. This was only the beginning of her little binge drinking.
The constantly perfect young lady had given into her old tomboyish habit she had tucked away since she was a pre-teen propping her legs on the table slouching resting her head back fully relaxed really not caring who the hell saw her like this...after all who the heck was going to see her like this...
Famous last words...

[[Life has been crazy. I do apologize.]]
America was just about to pass Czech in the living room, only giving her a quick smile, when he saw the beer bottles on the table in front of her.
Well.
He wasn't sure how he felt about drinking when, at any moment, the zombies could attack. He knew they should cut loose some and relax, but when they faced an imminent danger looming at all times, did they have the right to just take a step back and relax? Sure, it wouldn't exactly kill them, but there were other activities one could do than drinking. Watching a movie, exercising on the machines, or reading a book, just to name a few. America promoted each of those options as a better one than drinking.
He liked drinking every so often, sure, but he wasn't one for getting drunk or even slightly tipsy and then having to face a whole horde of zombies with his senses dull and his mind shutting down. It wouldn't be fun.
So he quickly stepped over to his friend, hands crossed over his chest and a slight frown on his face as he glanced once more at the beer. "Czech, what are you doing?" he asked. "And more importantly, where did you get the beer?" It actually wasn't more important, but, hey, he was a curious soul.

The young woman nearly jumped out of her skin when America’s voice entered the room destroying her feeling of calmness completely. She was someone who could be easily startled and she for one did not take kindly to it. Especially when she was as calm as she was just then. She turned to give the nation a scolding but her words got caught in her throat when she saw that it was America. Immediately she sat up straight setting her unfinished bottle down to smooth out her skirt and promptly took her feet off the table. While one might have thought her burning red cheeks were brought on by the drinking it was actually from sudden embarrassment.
Though America was Czech’s friend she really didn’t like people who didn’t know her completely to see her like this…she could take being criticized by how unladylike she was by Poland or Slovakia any day but another nation was another story. She had a reputation to keep and in her country reputation was everything.
“Uh...um...” She tried to think of words to say to this then realized that she wasn’t in trouble…drinking was a natural thing in her country in fact it was probably one of the most important things to her! After all, Czech Beer was officially named the third best beer in Europe. Not to mention that she drank more than any other European nation something that she just loved to rub in stupid Germany’s face every chance she got. Clearing her throat she flashed him a smile relatively calmed down now. “Oh I was drinking beer to unwind a little! Just a little that’s all!” She gestured to the five bottles empty bottles to make her point. To her that was a little amount of alcohol.
She took up her unfinished bottle shaking it a little and could see it was half way finished. She placed it to her lips and knocked it all back drinking it down like one with water showing no signs of discomfort. She finished quickly a very happy look on her face; the shivers that beer gave her were always so satisfying. “Oh this? That’s for me to know and for you find out!” She giggled at her little remark realizing that it was kind of immature but she was someone who liked to keep some secrets to herself. Reaching the case to pulled out one and offered it to America with a large sweet grin.
“Here! Have one with me!”

America cocked an eyebrow in what he hoped to be a very cool way as he stared at Czech. She seemed just a bit embarrassed, but then she quickly threw away all signs of discomfort and began drinking again. He watched her with growing anxiety as she finished her drink. He knew she could swallow alcohol well, but he hadn't anticipated on her drinking six beer bottles in what appeared to be less than an hour, based on how this room was empty just a short time earlier.
And then she offered him one. He knew he had to be the better man and refuse. He knew he should tell her to cut back and do something more productive.
He also knew he wasn't a stick-in-the-mud. She very well could need this. Everyone dealt with problems in their own way sometimes. The growing amount of zombies now since spring was in the air was a problem, and Czech just wanted to escape that problem. Besides, there were other countries to fight if Czech was too buzzed or drunk to do so. Even if every little bit counted, surely they would cut her some slack for having a few drinks for a few hours (though the side-effects would certainly hit come morning).
So he wouldn't berate her, but he would refuse to drink. "Sure," he said, taking the beer she held out to him and sitting down next to her. Just before he popped it open, he sighed.
He hadn't meant to agree. It was more of a reflex than anything to just step back and have some fun. And fun would be the death of him, obviously. "Just...just one," he muttered, rubbing tiredly at his forehead. "I'm gonna have one beer is all, then we both need to get back to work." He sent her a smile, clinking his beer can with hers. "Cheers to relaxing!"

A very pleased smile touched Czech's lips when he took the beer from her and sat down next to her. In Czech Republic to accept a beer from someone meant that you felt a strong relationship with a person. Of course she figured that it was different in America, heaven knows it was very different in other European countries but she was none the less happy that he would take time from his day to have a beer with her that in itself was satisfaction enough.
"Na zdraví!" She said in responce to his cheers which in her language meant 'to your health'. Realizing that her beer was empty to set the can down and reached in and grabbed another one clicking it open then began drinking though doing slower taking time to enjoy it. She was in the presence of company and it was rude to just swallow it like she wasn't even tasting it. She looked at him and grinned showing how happy she was.
"Dìkuji America." She thanked him in her native tongue. "Its nice to have a friend to drink with again...and someone who is not going to turn it into some silly contest like some other nations I know! Like that hloupy Germany!"
A rather angry look touched her eyes one full of a twinge of vengence, she and Germany did not have the best relationship and were often at each other's throats depending on the argument and how long it went for before someone had to force them apart. This angered look was not as scary as they usually were, being that her second personality was laid to rest as of now and was free to get anger over other nations without consequences! It felt good to vent without the fear of snapping someone's neck!

America took a few sips of his own beer, smacking his tongue as the liquid hit the back of his throat. Sometimes, he didn't know why he drank. The bitter taste was obvious enough, and it left a scorching feeling in his throat. To top that all off, while beer was well known for helping people to relax, it helped them relax a little too much, causing heavy intoxication or dulled senses or what have you.
Still, he drank it, smiling happily back at Czech as he listened to her talk. She seemed to enjoy his company, and for that he was pleased. Since they were friends, it would do them both some good to actually have a moment to sit and talk. So far, most of their encounters have involved fights, either real ones with zombies or mock ones with each other. He was in the mood for an actual conversation to take place.
"Germany and Prussia just like the fact that they can drink a lot of beer," America said, waving off Czech's anger with a flick of his hand. "Let 'em try and turn it into a contest. I mean, I can drink a ton, but I'd rather just drink in peace, you know?" He took another sip and, once he swallowed that, he added, "Of course, when England and I are drinking, I make sure to get drunk real quickly. That guy's a pain in the ass when he's drunk."

Czech started to giggle violently at his remark of England's behavior when he drank. Her shoulders shook at the very thought...it had been years since she had laid eyes on a drunken image of the proper gentleman but she remembered it every time she did experience it. She calmed herself down so that she wouldn't make the alcohol come out of her nose swallowing the rest down as allowed herself to breathe.
"Oh I know exactly what you mean! I remembered the first time that he and I drank together! I had just turned 12 which during the Middle Ages that was a proper time for a child to start drinking. England being well...England scolded me and told me that I was far too young to even touch the stuff but me being very prideful I decided to make him go against me in a drinking contest to see if I was old enough to drink. At first he didn't want to...but France egged him on so of course like an idiot he agreed!"
She grinned at the thought, she had drunken nearly half a barrel while England was drunk off his ass naturally. "I of course won and he got drunk to the point that he was shouting that we'd all be casted into hell if we didn't stop being Protestants. However, he was causing such a ruckus so I was forced to throw him out and send him home with France...In hindsight probably not one of my smartest decisions seeing how France is...France."
Her eye twitched slightly knowing how her sneaky friend France liked to strike when there was an opportunity...and finding England too drunk to even remember his own name counted as one! She grinned to herself shaking her head and taking another sip. "But since then people have called me an alcoholic...I'm not an alcoholic! I just happen to enjoy beer! And I hardly ever get drunk as it is..." She thought this over bitterly thinking of all the times Austria called her a drunkard which was hypocritical seeing how he'd consume a lot of beer as well!
Shaking her head she flashed a smile back at America. "Hey America what's the most embarrassing thing you've done when you were drunk?" She grinned, people might claim that they've never been drunk but the fact of the matter is, is that if you know how to drink a can then you've been at least buzzed once because that meant you had to practice to learn the right amount and America was no exception.
((The whole thing with England, France and Czech is based off history! During the celebration of a Czech Prince's birthday the kings of England and France came to celebrate with the king. The English king bet that he could drink more than the Czech king and so all three of them as well as other drank and drank until England's king was so drunk that he had to be sent to his chambers. But before that the king of France sneakily got him to sign a treaty while he was drunk...))

America winced when she mentioned how England went home with France. However, he didn't freak. He was totally beyond freaking out about England's past relationships (if one could call any of that a relationship, which America didn't). Besides, not even France would do anything while England was drunk, would he? No, it was better for America to ignore that little statement and continue on with the drinking. He wasn't going to get bogged down by a past he had no say in. Still, his grip tightened slightly on the beer can he was holding, wanting to push all those thoughts out of his mind.
Luckily, Czech seemed to have just the question that would force him to think of other things. "Most embarrassing thing, huh?" He rubbed at his chin, pondering the question. He didn't exactly remember what he did when he was drunk. Not that it happened often, heavens no. He usually knew when to stop before he got drunk, because he really hated the feeling of loss of control. He didn't want to do stupid things in the name of alcohol. He preferred to still have the same say over his body all the time.
Still, he had gotten drunk before, and getting drunk usually accounted for embarrassing moments. "Well, uh...there was once when I got drunk down in Arizona. This was before it was a state, and I really used to like going down to the west and just relaxing from all the duties over in the east." He cleared his throat, taking a sip of his beer. "So I was still kinda young and I didn't normally drink a lot at the time. I mean, sure, there was all sorts of alcohol I've tried before, but I never got drunk on it. Just a few sips here and there. Anyway, I was down at a bar in Arizona and I guess I drank a little more than I was used to and, ya know, got totally drunk."
He vaguely remembered the events that happened that night, but a friend told him when he woke up the next morning with a raging headache. "I then tried to start this duel with some other guy, except I forgot I had my gun in my holster. For some reason, I thought it was lost. So I was trying to find it, even though I had it, and...yeah, lots of shit happened." He laughed at what he had heard from his friend, a small blush rising up to his cheeks. He wasn't one for being clumsy and unheroic like that. And, even though he didn't even finish the story, he supposed that was all Czech needed to hear.

Czech stifled laughter finding this very funny indeed she loved 'when I got drunk stories' because they amused her greatly...plus if it was funny as they sounded she would almost be tempted to get them drunk just to see it first hand! In her book there were three types of drunk...the happy, the depressed and the angry with the occasional goofy, flirty and all around jack ass types...
Unable to keep in her laughter she giggled loudly just trying to image that image in her head. She forced herself to stop shaking her head. "That really does sound embarrassing America!" She thought over her experiences when she was drunk...well she thought about what her friends told her in the aftermath that is. There was very good reason why Czech was rarely drunk...it was how she behaved when she was drunk...she remembered one time Russia had Lithuania video tape her when she was drunk off of Vodka and she acted as you say...overly promiscuous...She shuddered as she thought of poor Latvia and what he had to see that night!
Using her hand she scratch behind her head. "I've done tons of embarrassing things when drunk so it would be hard to tell which is the most embarrassing but I think that one of the most embarrassing moments was when Denmark, Norway and I had finally made an alliance and I offered to buy us all drinks in celebration...Denmark challenged that I couldn't beat him in drinking...now if my brother Slovakia hadn't video taped that little contest I would've of never known why Denmark was so uncomfortable the next day because I um..." Her face flushed the deepest shade of red...she didn't want to tell him but she thought it was only fair.
"Because I took off my shirt and kissed Denmark right on the lips and I don't mean a peck a full out kiss...in front of everyone...I was so embarrassed that I felt like I was gonna die...though it would've also been the massive hangover as well...

He hadn't really expected Czech to go ahead and tell him one of her most embarrassing drunk stories (though he couldn't deny that he had been curious to know). He really hadn't expected to hear something so, well, crazy. He knew that Czech wasn't exactly the perfect image of a young, European lady, and he knew the nations over there were already insane enough as is (especially when it came to beer), but...
"You took off your shirt?" he repeated, his voice betraying his shock. Dammit. "I-I mean, it's not like it's impressive, it's just...weird." To hide the growing awkwardness that he felt followed him around wherever he went, America took a large gulp of his beer, the tips of his ears heating up.
Whenever he heard a new story about one of the European nations, it seemed he would always be surprised. The saddest part was, he didn't actually feel surprised when he thought of all they probably did- he just felt surprised when he heard individual stories. Europe was a big continent with many nations, and America wasn't used to all the shenanigans they got into over there.
However, the more he thought about it, the more he realized that Czech's story was actually quite funny. The initial shock was ebbing away, replaced instead by a growing smile. "Wait...you said it was filmed?"

A blind man could see that America was shocked and she didn't expect him to be anything less. In her own defense it was a big deal and she had been celebrating more because she was finally allowed to live on her own as an independent nation and to her that was a cause for celebration! But she could get a little of control but it was better than Russia when he was drunk...she shuddered thinking of his metal pipe that he'd carry no one was safe of it when he was really drunk. In a sitiuation like that she found it easier to just run and hide as fast as you could.
With a nod, Czech took another big sip swallowing it down as a sour look touched her face... "I still had undergarments on though..." She said in her own defense to avoid America even daring of imagining her in that kind of state. Denmark was over it and always joked around about it if it was ever brought up but there was just a nagging annoyance to it...
Her eyes turned to America when he asked if it was filmed. She nodded very slowly her hand crushing the can in apparent anger. "It was my stupid little brother Slovakia!" At a first glance no one could tell that Slovakia was younger than Czech...he was much taller than her and appeared even stronger and mature in both anatomically and emotionally. She loved her brother...she really did she just hated when he pulled jack ass stunts like taping her drunk and rub it in her face.
"Slovakia is such a brat! He video taped it and for a whole week played it in front of me giving that smug look that I hate so much...man it makes me just want to slap him in the face when he smirks like that!"
She fumed quietly to herself muttering Czech curses only to stop and replace her angered look with a sweet yet sheepish smile. "But yes it is on film...Little brother no doubt has it stored somewhere...oh how he loves to watch me squirm..."

Well, at least she told him that piece of information. It was easier to relax when he knew that she wasn't completely naked. Not only would it be awkward for him to sit and listen to, but he could imagine how awkward it would be for her, especially since it seemed her little brother video-taped the entire thing.
Weird.
With a shrug, however, America finished off the rest of the beer in his can, placing it alongside Czech's other empty cans and hiding a burp behind his hand. He really should stop drinking right about now. He wasn't in the mood to get drunk. what if something happened? He knew that the best they could do at times was relax, but there was such a thing as too much relaxing, even for him. He wasn't as callow of a man as he once was; he'd been through enough wars to know that one could never let their guard down. He always had to be prepared.
"Well, there's not much we can do about it now!" he cheerfully exclaimed. "Except, maybe, try and get some good blackmail material on him. That way, if he tries to show it to another nation, we can threaten him." Blackmail was always a good way to get what you wanted, America had to note to himself. Not that he would tell the other nations about his own blackmail material, though. Mostly because he didn't have it anymore, but also because it was playing dirty.
"I think that's enough alcohol, though," he quickly stated, taking the lead and gently prying Czech's hands off her beer can. "We should, um, keep a sharp lookout for any zombies!"

A smile touched Czech's face at the very thought of blackmailing her little brother. But she knew better than to do that to Slovakia...she had to admit that between the two he was far more clever and cunning...he was the one who always came up with hair brained schemes to torment their neighbors, Austria and Hungary ones that were beyond a doubt a work of genius! To try and even screw her brother like that would mean her certain doom. Besides, even though the unemotional tank of a man liked to pretend that he had no heart she knew that he loved her enough to not humilate her publically...he saved that pleasure all for himself.
Seeing he finished his beer she reached down to get him another only to find his hands gently prying her hands off of her can making her eyes widened in realization that her death grip was still on it. She relaxed her grip and grinned. Her face fell and a pout touched her face when he suggested that she'd start drinking. She was just getting started!
"Awe don't be like that America...can't I have just one more?" She batted her eye lashes at him and jutted her lip out brings her hands together in a begging motion with a beer in between them.

If America was any older of a nation, he might have been a bit put off by her begging expression. Really, that lower lip jutting out was certainly a move he had used before, and though he might not bat his eyelashes in such a manner (he was no girl!), he still made sure that the nations he was begging to could clearly see the anxiety and hope that rest within them.
He was attuned to begging tactics like these, and though it was difficult to say no to Czech, he knew it was his duty to do so. He couldn't just let her get away with whatever she wanted because of the face she put on! He had to be strong and show everyone else that he could handle anything, even nations who pleaded and begged with him.
"Sorry, Czech," he said, easily snatching the beer away from her. "You've already had one too many. I don't care if European nations say that they won't get drunk- your senses will die down, no matter what you do." He stuck his chin up, giving her a very heroic smile. "C'mon, this is in your best interests, 'kay? I don't want you to get hurt out on the battlefield." Because not only was she his friend, but he also didn't want to have to face her alter-ego. He promised he would keep her safe and, by golly, he stuck to his damn promises. If that meant ruining her fun, he would follow through.

A rather shocked look touched her face when he snatched her beer from her hands; he refused her pouting…dammit that usually did the trick! She looked up at him and showed him a genuine look of hurt and confusion.
“Oh come on America one more isn’t going to hurt!"
She tried to reach for it but found that he was keeping it well out of her arm’s length much to her annoyance. It felt so embarrassing to be outdone by the likes of a goofball like America. Giving up her eyes turned into a rather challenging glare her hand reaching down and taking another beer from the ground.
She didn’t mean to be a brat, she really didn’t…it was just hard for someone like her to get her emotions across…usually it was silly little fits of immaturity that helped her to vent her frustration. Plus she was the kind of woman who did not take no for an answer, she was very firm and very thick headed which made her both tenacious and annoying all at once…and though she liked America very much so she would not take such answer no matter how cute and sweet his reasons were.
Cocking a brow watching his moves she opened the tab of the beer.
“Who are you say I can't?”
