The panda cub yawned affectionately and China, deep in task knelt to morosely neglect tonight's dinner entrees for the panda's fat, clever game of fetch for China's pity in hopes of touching devotion and hugging endearment. Absentmindedly stroking the thick fur on the nape of the panda's neck, he pressed the tile coloured bundle against his chest, wrapping his frame around it.
China's face broke into a delighted smile at her ingress, "We're cooking... well, I was cooking supper, aru."
If it wasn't for the panda, he'd be done with his culinary burden by now.
The kitchen was rather large, it had to be or everyone would have been pressed up against each-other. It looked more like a hospital quarantine aria then a warm, homely family time type of place.
One half expected to see shuffling men in anti-radioactive suits, looking at the level of gamma rays with beeping medal detector like apparatus. It might as well have been in Chernobyl for all they knew.
Yet, the sense of food made it different. More welcoming. Thus nothing could exchange it for anything but a kitchen.
"Are you looking for someone, aru?" He asked a bit sympathetic.

America blinked at Singapore before glancing over to the newcomer. Someone he didn't exactly know. She wasn't Asian, that was for sure, and her accent was probably European or something, but America decided not to bother with even guessing her name. For all he knew, she might even be a micronation. "Well..." He turned back to Singapore. "Don't stress out too much, okay? If you're gonna fight zombies, we need you in perfect shape!" Like me, he wanted to add, but he felt as if that might be a bit too arrogant.
Quickly going back to his burgers, America flashed this newcomer a smile. "We're having hamburgers. Do you want any?" They obviously had more than enough meat, thanks to Scotland's hunting skills, so America didn't mind making more food for everyone.

Czech looked in and felt a sudden auroa that made her feel surprisingly...warm. It reminded her so much of when she and her brother Slovakia were still united. Her face became warm and flush in thought of how they would cook together...making a beautiful union.
But that was a long time ago, so long since she saw her beloved brother.
She took a small step forward, ready to reply to America only to find her knees buckle. The smell of the food and painful memory of her brother contributed to her wave of weakness. She felt dizzy, cursing herself as she began to faint.

He felt sorry, but China was not prepared to chuck his panda over his shoulder to save her. So instead, moving swiftly he screeched back a chair with his foot and twisted it to cushion her fall backwards.
"Aiyah! Be careful, aru!"He commanded half-heartedly. "If you were sick, you should have said so, aru!"
All the more, she completely ignored his question to stare love-struck at America's generosity and maybe even America himself.

Czech was slumped over in the chair, her chestnut locks in her face, pale with hunger. 'Why do I always do this to myself?' She wondered as she started to dose in and out of conciousness. 'Maybe its because you're a kretén?' She considered this as she felt her head grow uncontrolably dizzy.
This was a usual thing for young Czech. So often she was piled up with numerous sewing projects, and her duties as a scout that she had barely time to think of food. Of couse one would ask why she never took her eyes off her work to give herself the nurishment her tiny body needed? It was because of the works were not mearly something fun to do...they were gifts. They were gifts to her friends and people that she liked. There was already a few people she had made things for...but had either not finished them or had the courage to give it to them. These precious works meant everything to her...they expressed what she truelly felt...
Her hands began to move on their own, an invisible needle in one hand, sewing away at imaginary fabric. Hallucination were often a side effect from deep hunger. She reached unconciously down to her lap now, meaning to grab her pillow case she was making for France only to find that she was pulling the hem of her own skirt.
All at once she stood up in a flash, her eyes wide in sudden panic.
"Where is France's present?!"
She cried out to no one in particular...at this moment she couldnt even tell where she was let alone who was in the kitchen with her seeing her making a scene. Her head whirled around looking for the pillow case only to find her head grow dizzy from the sudden movements.
Without warning she collapsed on her knees...realizing what a fool she was making of herself. "I--I'm sorry..." She said as she tried to stand up, too afraid to look up at anymore, afraid that she would cry in embarressment if she dared meet eyes with them.
"Its...its just I havent eaten in well...three days..." she said quietly...not sure how she was gonna deal with this...she thought the best thing to do was run like hell...but then her pillow case wouldn't be found...what a predicment...
(WOW...I just had a bottle of mountain dew look what I did! I didnt even know I did this much until I posted it! DO THE DEW!!!)

China's expression was priceless. It was that of unexplainable emotional wrecking balls all slamming into one single train wreck at once.
"You haven't eaten in... b-but there's food, aru~! Lots of it ... we could make you a banquet with all the meats in the world, aru," he stumbled on word after word, gripping into his panda so hard it whimpered and that hurt even more! She was going to be sick and dead. Famine was way too familiar to him as a mainly agricultural society. Without food, no amount of intelligence could last. Brainless countries had self destructive tendencies and were little more than zombies.
He dumped the panda cub in South Korea's arms before turning to the kitchenette and going all out within seconds of flying utensils and chopping boards. He nearly turned the oven on with his foot because he could reach but shook his head to himself. No, he wasn't that desperate.
"畜生," he said vibrating the knife over a freshly picked squash so by the time it was half-way off the vegetable the dicing was just becoming visible. He lit a fire under the frying pan and poured a newly fabricated sauce that intensified the smell, cooking it whole.
Sizzling sounds trespassed the air and all the food cutting he'd done earlier was put into one wok/frying-pan as mouth watering stir fry.
"It's not very fancy, aru, and obviously not France's cordon bleu, aru," he insisted, "but it has everything you need for eight meals."
He shook the product into a plate and gave her chopsticks from his pack (yes, he didn't think of the fact that she was probably not East Asian) before pulling the table with the hook of his foot in front of her chair.
After all that competent flurry he bobbed his head excessively with an afterthought, "if you can't eat it whole I can mush it up, aru," he brandished a potato masher.

(I miss one night and this much happens!)
What America said bred into her. She was needed to be in perfect shape for fighting zombies. She really was stupid for breaking down in such a stupid way. The newcomer who came in hadn't eaten for three days and here Singapore was crying over a cut! She felt really stupid now. She watched China care or the newcomer, even though he didn't know who she was, he was still kid and caring to a mere stranger.
'He hasn't changed.' Singapore thought. Singapore stood up and wipes away her tear marks. She couldn't act like a crybaby now. She looked at the unfinished pumpkin that still hadn't been cut.
"I'm sorry everyone for troubling you." Singapore said before continuing to dice the pumpkin. Her mind was still messed up, but she did know one thing. She was a good actor. She smiled brightly to everyone, hiding her patheticness. She waved at the newcomer.
"Let's all eat something nice together!" Singapore announced. She quickly diced up the pumpkins careful to avoid her finger.
"Majula Singapura." Onward Singapore. Singapore said softly to herself.

Czech felt overwhelmed at this as she looked towards China. She found a light blush touch her face as she saw him smile at her. Never had she seen anyone that kind towards her before...it felt kind of weird and out of place for her. But it was a good kind of weird. One that she kind of liked.
"De--dìkuji!" She said thank you in her native tongue quietly.
She said this though she knew that did not matter...being that he probably didn't hear her. She decided she'd tell him...the best way she knew how...with a hanmade gift. She did as instructed and mashed it up as he had told her, then with a slightly shakey hand she used her hands to eat it. She had never even laid eyes a pair of chopsticks before...and she was far too hungry to even think of getting a fork.
Once she had her first bite she found that her mouth was dancing with joy. She gave the largest pleased smile that anyone could see the small nation make. It sure wasn't her Svièková...but it was still good enough to substitute it!
'Mmm..maybe I could make some Svièková later for everyone...' She thought positively to herself. That was a sure sign that her belly was getting full and her body regaining some strength. 'Oh what I wouldn't give for a beer right now...' she thought more negatively as the thoughts of her country's flavourful beer drifted into her head. This was a sign that she still had a little ways to go to feel better...
Czech's sharp eyes did not miss them. She saw that young Asian country was wiping tears marks from her pretty face. Czech wondered what she was crying about before. "I'm sorry everyone for troubling you." She said...and though she did her best to hide it, Czech could see that she wasn't as bright and happy as she wanted everyone to think she was. She was a good at telling when people were lieing...after having an allience with Russia, it was a rather desirable talent.
At the mention of 'eating together' Czech thought maybe this would be a chance for her to finally step out of her shell.
"Uh--um...'
she stood up, having regained much over strength.
"I um...do you think maybe I could make a dish for us?? Something from my homeland for us to snack on? I have a very simple dish in mind!"
She added quickly as she avoided the eyes of many...then she realized something...she forgot to introduce herself.
"If none of you know..."
'Which odds are you don't'
"I'm Czech Republic..."
She looked up just slighty to them, hoping against hope that she would not be considered an outcast. She smiled sweetly...sweeter than any strawberry, her cheeks returning in color that was just as simular. She gave a sudden pause and looked around on the floor then looked up sheepishly.
"Has um...anyone seen my pillowcase?? It...has France's flag and effiel tower on it..."
(Hmm...I seem to be getting more creative by the minute! This one of the longest looking posts of done in a while...sorry if it bothers you...when I respond to rps I usualy just go on a typing rampage until I finish my words...and by the time I send it...I see how much I've blabbered about)

Korea recognized the new nation as Czech. He had never really known her, along with a vast number of other European countries. When China dumped the little panda cub in his arms, South Korea lifted it up and looked at it. Panda babysitting duty for him. He had never really been much of a cook anyways, sure, he could cook, but never as a pasttime. "I haven't seen any pillow case, da~ze!" What he was wondering more about, though, was why a country that wasnt France would have a French pillowcase. Pillowcases were invented in Korea too, as they were very extremely absolutely useful! Trotting away from where he had been when Singapore had had a spaz attack over a cut, Korea thought that America was dealing with it just fine...and he himself didnt really want to anyways...Korea had never been the most amazingly helpful person, as he was usually the one causing whatever trouble that had to be fixed up.
Which was completely worth it, as some nations had absolutely priceless surprised expressions. The only one who really got angry ant retaliated was Hong Kong, when Korea had borrowed some of his fireworks. Planning to return them, of course, Eventually. He leapt back at China, still holding the panda cub, thoug one might mot be entirely sure if it would come out entirely unscathed.

Czech pouted at this as she scratched her head and looked around on the floor some more.
"I wonder what happened to it..."
Right now she was as calm as calm could get with the bi polar nation...but pretty soon if she did not find that pillow case she was going have another one of her spazz attacks...and having one in the kitchen was definently not the right time or place for it.
"Okay calm down...calm down..."
She assured herself as she started to breathe hard, her chest pounding with her heart non stop. She bit her thumb nail nervously...then she caught sight of something...when she saw South Korea with his back turned to her she saw the little Panda cub in his arms was holding something in his paws.
"You."
She said as she pointed an accusing finger towards the young cub who looked at her over South Korea's shoulder his cute little eyes seeming to taunt her.
Her eyes narrow as she saw exactly what it was...France's gift...how the cub got hold of it? She didn't know or cared...all that she cared about was getting it back now...
(LOL...I felt silly... [MY BIG BROTHER'S IDEA!] )

When the European nation had nearly fainted, America was startled. Was life really that bad for her that she couldn't find time to eat? He felt a bit guilty that he had been quite well-fed since arriving at the warehouse while it seemed others weren't eating the amount of food that they should be. With this in mind, he resolved to cook his burgers even quicker, hoping to make enough for everyone. Setting more slabs of meat upon the frying pan, America looked over at Czech when she spoke. "If you wanna make something to go with the burgers, that's cool," he responded. "China and Singapore are cooking something else, though, so maybe we could save it for later." After all, in times like these, it was best to conserve the food, especially when they were already making so much.
"Oh, and I haven't seen a pillowca-" And that was all he could spit out, for Czech seemed to be glaring at the panda in South Korea's arms. And the panda seemed to be holding a pillowcase with the French flag. Which was rather distasteful and would probably look much better with an American flag on it, but, hey, it wasn't America's so he wasn't going to say anything. Besides, he was still a bit confused at how the panda had gotten hold of this weird pillowcase.
With a sigh, he looked back down at his burgers. "How many should I make?" he asked out loud, feeling as if people would start ignoring him if he didn't continuously speak up.

Czech seemed to not hear America's question as her blue-green eyes focused in on the cub like a hawk. The once calm and sweet looking country started to give off a sudden dark auroa her anger very noticable.
No one was allowed to touch her things without permission. She had long since been pushed around by country after country, parts of her land taken here...her whole nation taken over. And for someone or something to touch a special present she had was just the last straw with her.
She walked right up to South Korea, grabbing him by the shoulder tightly as her 'special' smile came over her. A smile that was scary...and meant that she was pissed off.
"South Korea...what is that little Panda cub doing with my pillowcase???"
She asked in a icy tone so cold it seemed that ice was coming from her mouth.

Threatening the endangered animal of the one who just brandished seemingly selfless hospitality in a foreign country as a foreigner himself was not... insightful.
China momentarily kept at bay but his humble shoulders stiffened and his feet brushed the ground nervously. Nervous or not, he was being a man of soft temperament yet to him the natural world was scarce and one bad move could lead to a domino effect of pain.
This animal had not roots in any other country and you think zoos survived a zombie massacre?
Czech had to decide. Declaring war over a national gift or being a menace a national treasure from the remote forests of the south-west.
Or threaten Korea holding a national jewel of just perfected method of captive population.
Yeah, cold, crazed anger or not. Zombie apocalypse or Croatian prison camp. China stood still and held his breath but the next move might not be so smooth.
"Korea, aru, give me back the panda, aru," he said softly, accent dripping over his words like melted candle-wax, "and everything will be fine, I will get the pillowcase out of it's jaw.

The nations were getting very active as Czech accused the panda for stealing her pillow. She looked at America who was going back to his burgers, South Korea was still holding China's panda, China wanting the cub back, Czech glaring at the innocent creature, and--was it Lithuania--had been very quiet. She released a hearty laugh. Se really couldn't help it. It had never been this exciting at home. In fact, she admitted that it was a little boring. Being in the warehouse because if this zombie business, she actually felt thankful for it.
"China, do you still want the pumpkins?" Singapore asked, realizing herself that she had finished cutting the pumpkin. Then, she began to wonder how she got here. She was hungry just like Czech. America's burgers saved her. Did she thank America? She couldn't remember.
Singapore walked towards South Korea and the panda before China. She patted the panda and he opened his mouth. The pillow dropped to the floor. It was a bit wet with saliva, but it was still in good condition. She picked up the pillow am held her arm for te panda who willingly crawled in it. She figured that the panda should return to China just as much as the pillow to Czech. She walked to China and gave him the panda before she gave Czech her pillow. She had to respect her elders first.
"This should resolve everything, right?" Singapore said before grabbing a chair to sit down. She looked to Korea and gave him a grin that she usually saved for the annoying brat Hong Kong. For a particular reason, she listed him in her mental list of countries to look out for.

Korea felt daggers on his back. Turning, he noticed Czech glaring not at him, at least not on purpose, but at the little panda he was holding.
"Um...I don't know why the panda has your weird pillow case, it's Aniki's, not mine, da~ze!" Korea kept one eye on the European nation as ne turned back slightly as he heard Aniki say somthing about returning the black and white creature. Korea watched as Singapore, using some sort of magical animal whisperer skill he did not have, retrieved the pillowcase from the panda.
"Hm? Oh, you want it back now? Sure, da~ze!" Korea said as Singapore returned the panda and the pillowcase. He flapped a hand at China, like those weird people flapped tissues in those old weird European movies that Korea had found in Hong Kong's basement. South Korea also returned the smile that Singapore sent him, though with much more excitement. Unsure of where to go for a moment, Korea looked from side to side and decided to avoid both Aniki and Czech for the moment, as that was probably for the best. The Asian nation followed Singapore, but instead of finding a chair, he leapt up onto the table, ignoring anything that was already there, and swung his legs back and forth.
