BASIC INFO
**
Name: Socialist Republic of Vietnam [Trung Trac Nhi/Nhi Trac Trung]
Gender: Female
Appearance: Vietnam is a rather small young woman, she stands at a height of 5'2" and weighs around 120 pounds, she's healthy and despite her small stature is rather strong and completely capable of handling her own business. Because she does not like depending on others for even the smallest of things thanks to her untrusting nature, she makes sure she's strong enough to handle any situation by herself. Her facial features give off the vibe of not wanting to be bothered, and at times make her look completely unapproachable. Her body is always properly up straight, she doesn't slug her shoulders or slouch when sitting, she's very respectful and does show she has manners.
Vietnam hair color is a dark brown color, it looks brighter in the sun however that fact isn't really important or something she takes the time to notice, if she cared she'd wear her hair in different styles than just the usual ponytail. Speaking of which, the brunette wears her hair in a low pony tail, tied a bit above the base of her neck, The locks hang down to her waist, and it's all straight and orderly. She has bangs that frame her face at the sides, the bangs in front of her forehead falling just above her eyes, straight down so they don't sweep to the left or right, or any other direction, besides down, imaginable.
The young woman's eyes are a glowing golden honey color, they are rather pretty and interesting to look into, the color isn't the most common so it's a unique trait of hers. They have a hardened and serious expression in them, giving her the correct look that she is not one for tom-foolery or anything in that manner. She is serious, and it reflects in her eyes as well as her body language. Her eye brows are defined, not extremely thick but not as thin as some, they fit her and give her a very mature look. She has thick eye lashes that complement her round eyes.
Concerning her wardrobe, Vietnam tastes are simple and not at all drastic, despite that she does have good taste in simple things. She normally wears an áo dài, which is a national Vietnamese outfit in Vietnam for women. The áo dài is a a leaf green color, and her pants underneath are usually white. She almost always has a non la with her, she really loves the hat thus can't imagine not wearing one.
Personality: The dark haired nation can come of as a very shy and distant young woman, she isn't the best at socializing with others thus she tends to stray off from doing so and keep to herself and her hobbies she enjoys. She isn't good at making friends, she normally runs any possible hopes of friends off with her accidental rude comments, and because of that she just doesn't try hard to become friendly, but her history has made it hard for her to be able to trust others or allow them to get close to her. She doesn't trust people easily anyway, as far as she's concerned they are all untrustworthy and just not worth the effort she'd have to put out to befriend them. She's far more comfortable observing from a distance anyway, it's a good way to learn things about others that they wouldn't want someone finding out. Despite her not trusting others, she finds herself very trustworthy and it's not a lie, she can keep secrets if only because she doesn't have anyone to tell it to, but really she doesn't think it's her place to go around gossiping. She hates gossip, so it's one of the last things she'd want to find herself doing.
Vietnam is very stubborn, if she believes in something she puts her all into it and stands by it no matter what, she's the type of person who is very difficult to sway to something else, she's strong-headed and strong-willed, so she's not one to fall for peer pressure or someone to just do something because everyone else is doing it and if she doesn't she'll stand out. She doesn't really care if she stands out, she isn't there to impress anyone besides herself. She's very determined and she reaches for her dreams and keeps running toward them until they are in her grasp, clenched between her fingers. Along with that, she's very resourceful. She can make something out of the simplest of things, but it's all thanks to her struggles to gain independence, because of that she's able to depend on herself.
The Vietnamese woman is the type of person you'd want with you if you were trapped on an abandoned island, she keeps her cool and remains calm even when others are panicking and rioting, she's a natural leader when push comes to shove and someone has to stand up and take charge, she doesn't like socializing but she'll get up on stage and take command if no one else will. She's good at ordering people around, she has a serious nature to her and her expressions are serious so more than not people take her seriously, even to the point they find her intimidating. Her intimidating features stem from the fact she does not joke around often, thus when she is told a joke she can make comments that make her appear as a hard ass that doesn't want jokes being told when she's around. She'll say things like, "What's that suppose to mean?" and though it is an innocent question, her tone of voice isn't curious, thus she sounds sarcastic not amused.
Though she is a calm girl, when you manage to anger her (and it's not an easy task to do) she reacts very badly, she's not one to be violent but when angered the gloves come off. She does not like being angered, and when someone does it's usually on purpose, she gives fair warnings that they should stop bothering her, but if they continue she just gets irritated and wants to shut the person up. She has gotten in trouble by her past bosses for punching people, and she's not a weak woman so her punches aren't taps, they're full on punches packed with her distaste for the person and or situation she was put in. She is very polite and respectful, though she treats those above her and even below her with an equal amount of manners, she doesn't speak when not spoken to and does not make comments under her breath about people. Neither is she one to seek out altercations. As long as you don't purposely bug her she'll treat you with respect.
In short, Vietnam is not good at socializing, she's untrusting of others and it takes a lot to get past her bubble. But if you get past Vietnam bubble, she's a rather timid girl when it comes to socializing with friends. She's awkward about it, and just plain "new" to it. She doesn't know how to be the friendliest, and she doesn't take psychical affection well, she'll push others off her if she's hugged and demand what the meaning of it was, her reactions are odd but if you keep at her she'll eventually become more comfortable. Of course she doesn't do a 360 change, she's just more accepting. However, for every friend who betrays her trust the harder her shell becomes and the more untrusting she gets.
Relations with other chars: Vietnam has personal issues with America and France, but that does not mean she is unable to work with them. She's simply extremly distrusting of the three due to the wars she has been in and even with zombies rolling around, she finds she has difficulty trusting them still. Japan, Taiwan, and China Vietnam has no big problems with, the former two she's on better terms at, but she doesn't have any huge problems with China besides the fact he can be bothersome at times. Thailand is someone who sort really bugs her, if only because his verbal tick and up-beat nature.
Special abilities: Vietnam is very strong pyschically, she's a strong woman and able to take care of herself.
AU-RELATED
Short range weapon of choice: Vietnam chooses to use her paddle, it may not be sharp or anything, but it is very durrable and with her strength it delivers a hard blow. When she has to get really close, she uses a KA-BAR she's had since the Cold Wars.
Long range weapon of choice: There are two guns Vietnam uses, a machine gun known as the L1A1 SLR and a revolver known as the M1917 revolver.
Duty position of your choice: Minuteman
Bunk of choice: Bottom, allows her to get out of bet quicker and easier so she prfers it.
OBLIGATORY FILLING
Sample RP test: As soon as she stepped foot into the seemingly old house when you looked at it from the outside, the Asian Nation's stomach twisted in a uncomfortable way. A eerie feeling hit her, and she didn't feel right being in the mansion. Feathers ran up and down her spine, and her wariness hit her full force. She didn't like being inside, she wanted to go outside, but then again she was wondering if this was America just adding to the eeriness with some sort of Hollywood gizmo gadget, she wouldn't put it past him. He liked scary movies if she could recall, so maybe he was trying to recreate some scene out of a horror movie. Either way, she didn't like it and did plan to question America about it, but she couldn't find him amongst the faces. She should have followed his obnoxious voice, but before she could concentrate the doors slammed shut. A few younger nations squeaked, but she remained still despite a small jolt of movement from her.
Honey golden eyes turned to the once open door, someone was trying to pull it open but it was of no use, it was like it was glued shut. Almost like it took on a mind of its own and intended to lock everyone inside. Was this also a plan of America's? No, he wasn't laughing or saying anything so she was starting to really doubt that being the case. "What's going on here?" Vietnam whispered under her breath, not talking to anyone around but herself. Brows furrowed, her body stiffening slightly as she tried to reason with why the door wouldn't open. Maybe it was just stuck, it was an old house if she recalled.
Speaking of which, looking around the interior, Vietnam finally took notice of the inside. The walls weren't dusty or rotten, and they should be if the place was abandoned. Everything looked nice, not old or in ruins. Did America possibly clean up? She doubted it, and that fact did not make her feel calmer.
It was getting warm in her TOPIO costume, but she refused to step out of it at the moment. She clenched her robotic fake gun tighter, a frown marrying her lips. I knew I should not have come here, I would have been better off at home reading a good book. The only reason Vietnam showed up at all was really only because the other Asian Nations had, and she didn't want to be bothered by Thailand, him and his "Ana~" could bother her... A lot. And she wanted to show off her costume without blatantly going around boasting about how well it was made and such, it was a pretty neat costume. But now with the scary incident, she was really wishing she could have just stayed home.
Maybe she should click her imaginary red heels together and and chant "There's no place like home"? If only that would work.~

ABOUT THE ROLEPLAYER
About yourself: Hello! My name is Angie, but feel free to call me Mello or Mouse! Or of course Viet/Vietnam! I'm seventeen years old and live in the lovely country of America. I am a chocoholic and big on watching anime and reading manga. I'm very shy, but once I warm up to someone I'm very out-going!
Pairing friendly?: For Vietnam, I like AmeViet, VietFran, HongViet... At least those are one's I've done, but I'm open to anything involving crack pairings! I like FrUk, ScotlandWorld, PruGium, PolCan, DenNor, NorIce, and others. I not a fan of Itacest, Germcest, GerIta, or GiriPan, but I wouldn't flip out if any of those pairings are on the site so it doesn't matter!
Personal note to anyone reading your application: I'm looking forward to roleplaying with everyone, zombies plus Hetalia is a perfect mix! I hope we can get along!
