America took off his own winter gear, shivering slightly when his warm coat was off of him. Of course, the wet pants weren't really warming his legs up any. "Hell yeah! God, a shower sounds perfect right about now, doesn't it?" Even more perfect than the little salmon he caught, which he sat down on the floor as he shed himself of winter gear, hanging it up next to England's and smiling brightly when he was finally in just his sweater and pants, sticking his hands in his pockets to warm them up.
He glanced down at his wet boots, finally kicking those off, waiting for some sort of feeling to gather back in his feet before doing anything. When he looked back up, he simply grinned. "Didn't realize it was so cold out there until I came back inside! Man, we need to make, like, a huge heating system around this whole country, and then we'll never be cold again! I mean, snow is cool, and we can turn our heating system off every once in a while to let some snow in, but mostly heat."
Realizing he was rambling, he blushed, taking a hand out of his pocket to grab England's hand. "You go on and take your shower. I'll join you after I take the fish to the kitchen. I mean, I'm not gonna join you like that, just take a shower with- well, not with...you know what I mean!" He found it frustrating to talk sometimes, what with all the accidental implications he gave.

England hadn't realized how much he missed America's ludicrous suggestions until he made one. A wave of nostalgia washed over him as he remembered the countless robots and superheroes that he'd suggested to fight global warming and piracy on the Internet during their world meetings. God, how he missed times like that... It seemed like forever since the last time they had the chance to goof off like that. And yet the nostalgia was overpowered by the joy of hearing something like that again, the joy of being reassured that nothing had changed, and that this experience hadn't changed any of them.
England listened to him speak as he took his winter clothes off, and only realized that he'd been smiling the entire time when America took his hand. That's when he quickly put his other hand over his mouth to compose himself and then looked up at America, raising one of his eyebrows as if challenging him.
"Really then." he looked at him silently for a second, and then shrugged. "If you say so." As if he really needed confirmation for that. The boy was just so cute, fumbling around like some kind of inexperienced teenager. Of course England understood what he meant, after all, it was HIS language they were speaking, so he knew what literary expressions were. After all, with their showers being under the form of stalls to accommodate as many people as possible at once, England wouldn't have given a second thought to 'I'll join you'.
"Alright, alright, take your mighty catch to the kitchen and join me in the showers." England rolled his eyes, patting America's hand before letting it go. He really had to get away before he burst out laughing at how adorable America was.

America blushed even more, about ready to exclaim that he really didn't mean anything by saying that, that it was all just a slip-up, that, while he didn't oppose the idea, he certainly meant nothing dirty by it, but then he noticed that England was using sarcasm. Swallowing back the words that were about ready to spill forth from his mouth (and so very thankful he didn't, as that would have made the situation all the more awkward), he frowned, picking his fish up again and leaving the fishing supplies by the door, just in case some other country wished to do what he did.
"Stop making fun of me," he pouted, glaring down at his salmon. "I was just kinda mixing up my words. It's 'cause I'm too cold." Maybe the cold messed with minds somehow, so England might believe that. It was doubtful, but he couldn't rule out the possibility. Clearing his throat, America lost the pout, realizing that he was just being silly. England was joking and messing with him, that was all. Besides, America found that he couldn't act upset around England for too long.
"I'll be right there, then, okay? Don't drown yourself while I'm gone." Leaving no room for arguments (or questions), he gave England a quick wink before heading on down toward the kitchen, very much looking forward to a warm night of blankets and England.
[[Once again, Meri proves her inability to end anything perfectly. I assume this is ended. Unless you want to keep going?]]
