When England sat down at the head of the large, rectangular table, thoughts immediately assailed him. Far from being deterred, though, he pulled out a few sheets of paper and immediately started sketching out his plans for the next mission he was planning to send the nations on. And, of course, worrying about the new threat they were facing.
Of course, none of them had any idea what those had been, and only three of them, Canada, America and himself, had seen the new enemy they were expected to overcome. Of course, they had to go identify the threat and make a research folder about it, but that didn't change the fact that having another thing to worry about was disheartening.
Oh well. Their job hadn't been easy until now, and it wouldn't get any better, not until all the zombies on the planet had been eradicated. He had their collective goal in mind, and now, all he needed was soldiers to fight for freedom.
Alone, he sat in the meeting room, calmly awaiting all the convoqued nations to arrive.

Norway quickly walked into the meeting room and sighed happily. He thought he was late but he guessed he wasnt. It was only England sitting aloe at the head of a large table. He adjusted his hat and took his seat by the English speaking country. "Hello England." The nordic said as he sat down. He placed his hands in his lap and messed with his wedding ring.
He wondered what this mission was. Did they need to do something or get something from the surrounding abandoned cities? Or did somethig happen that made there situation worse then it already was? Norway sighed and continued to mess with the cold metal that was around his finger. He hoped and prayed this mission wouldnt mean the end of him. He knew how unexpected these things were so he never knew.

Lithuania knocked lightly on the door to announce his presence before swinging the door open. He noted that he was only the third person there.
"England, Norway. Hello." He nodded to both of them, before pulling up a chair.
He wondered what this was going to be about. The last mission had been crazy. Hopefully this one wouldn't be so.

Denmark spotted the door to the meeting room swinging shut and leapt forward, catching it before it could close completely.
He poked his head inside and saw the few people inside. England, Lithuania and...Norway. He took a deep breath before walking through the door.
"Hi..." He really didn't know what to say, two people he didn't know well and one who was probably mad at him, great.
Denmark pulled out a chair down at the opposite end from Norway and rested his head in his hands. He hadn't been part of the previous mission, hadn't even been at the base for it, so he had no clue what had gone down. This was his chance to prove himself, and show everyone he could be useful!

Directly following Denmark, Argentina waltzed into the meeting room with great poise - yet a sense of casual, coolness in her step. It was a walk that she probably spent years of her life practicing. It's hard being an arrogant bitch, and Tina would never let anyone tell her different.
Without a word to any of the nations who had already arrived (Particularly not England), Argentina pulled out a seat for herself at the rectangular table and sat down. Leaning back comfortably, Tina found she felt rather eager to know what the second mission was going to circle around, as well as who she was to be paired up with. She hadn't taken much part in the first and most recent mission, Mission Midori. Instead, Argentina had taken another nation's place when there was a slight... change of plans.
Her bright turqoise gaze wandered around the room, passing right over Norway, Denmark, Lithuania, and finally landed spot-on England. The table was large, and Tina had intentionally taken a spot as far from the Englishman as possible. It was nothing personal...
...Well, actually, it was extremely personal, but no getting into that now.

Norway's head popped up and saw Lithuania come in. He said a polite hello to him and then heard another come in. Again he looked up and saw Denmark. He raised his eyebrow and didnt really know what to say. He didnt really know that the Dane would be in this mission. He watched him as the man walked to a chair opposite of him and sit.
"Denmark? Your participating in this?" Norway asked a little uneasy. It felt a little awkward to talk to his oldest friend now that he was married. He hoped there friendship was still ok though. He continued to mess with the ring around his finger and waited for the Dane to say something.

"Well, at least some of you are early enough. Thank you for presenting yourselves." England greeted them all with a nod, hoping that there wouldn't be any silence. There just seemed to be so much tension between the present nations... What had he missed? Something must have happened during the past few days, when he'd been very distracted by all the work he'd had to do in foresight of the mission.
Hopefully, it was nothing that would jeopardize the success of the mission. This one was just as important as the last one, if not more, and England wouldn't let the world be condemned becasue of something that may have happened between the nations. Something that he was determined to find out about... after he got the more drastic information out of the way.

South Korea practically skipped into the mission briefing room. He was humming under his breath and smiling widely. Pausing to look around the room, he continued humming.
As if confirming something, he nodded and flounced (Yes, flounced) over to an empty seat, plopping himself into it.
"So when are we starting?"

"Yeah, hopefully." Denmark bit his lip as Norway spoke to him, he didn't want it to be this awkward! He tried to get over it...hopefully Norway would as well.
But whichever way, he wasn't about to let it interfere with him and his job.
Denmark nodded in response to England, but didn't say anything, there wasn't really anything TO say.

Argentina directed a nod at England. "Aye, Capt'n." She rolled her eyes and sat up straight. "I agree with him," Tina shot her finger towards South Korea, pointing.
God forbid Tina be paired up with England for this mission. Although, he seemed to be the one who groups the teams up himself beforehand. She couldn't see him doing that, not for a big expedition outside the warehouse.
"Let's cut to the chase; when're we leaving, who're we paired up with, and what's this mission about, Eyebrows?"
(Short, so short... I apologize for my lack of what to write.)

((sorry schools about to start so I should reply this first!!)) Malaysia slamed open the door of the meeting room, panting deeply. She was late and she rushed all the way here. "Maaf! Im late!" She said before walking to an empty seat and fall onto it.
After a short time of gaining back some air, Malaysia came back to her senses.v "Did I miss anything important?" Malaysia asked worridly.

"Not really." England replied to Malaysia. "We haven't started yet. And we're only going to start once all the concerned nations are here." he turned his glare to Argentina. "Because it would be somewhat stupid to even suggest starting without having everybody around. I daresay no one around here has ever suggested that, though."
He then sighed, running a hand through his hair. It was always the same people being late. America was one of them, and England would be sure to give him an earful for making them all wait. Every second counted when on a mission, so he really wanted to brief them and dispatch them as soon as he could.
"If you want to complain, go complain to the nations that are late to the meeting." he suggested with a shrug, leaning back in his chair nonchalantly.

"It's their fault for being late Da-ze~ Let's just start!"
Korea really had nothing else to do, so he was fine with just sitting in the conference room, but it was booooring. Why couldn't the other nations just show up already?

Argentina allowed herself to lean back again, all the while, giving dirty looks towards England. "Ché, if they don't show up, it's their problem. Yet again, I agree with Corea del Sur..." South Korea.
Tina tilted her head downward and began anxiously fiddling around with the copper buttons of her dark blue-gray military coat. "I could'a taken a siesta, I didn't need to show up for this if only a few were to show up as well, and the others were going to be no-shows..."
Argentina's gaze shifted from England and wandered to Malaysia. It gave her a sense of comfort in knowing she wasn't going to be the only girl on this mission. Tina was confident that women could take on the same tasks as men; the female countries were proof of that.
Then again, Argentina is the most female-respecting country in South America. Womens' rights are better there than in any other nation in South or Central America.
(Little fun fact that was probably unnecessary. I just needed a filler for this also-short post.)

America hurried into the room, panting harshly and looking in complete disarray. Once he noticed all the other countries in the room, he felt like cursing. He was late. It was a meeting for the new mission, and he was late. He gave a quick sigh, then put on a grin, walking further in. Well, he was here, at least. Best to just smile through the lectures England was sure to give him.
"You guys can start now!" he exclaimed cheerfully, taking a a seat beside Norway. "The hero is here, so there's no need to be quiet anymore! We can talk and figure out what to do and, as usual, I can save everyone!" He patted Norway's back and beamed at everyone who was currently in the room.
He knew he should probably be serious, but everyone else was fulfilling that role already. He wanted to bring some sort of happiness into the meeting room. Being too serious could make the nations tense- he wanted them to loosen up just a tad and be reminded that everyone would be okay.
