(LOL...I am HORRIBLE at making titles!!! )
'Hmm let’s see…I need sugar, lemon, water… '
Czech stood quietly in the kitchen as her eyes looked around the room naming ingredients off her head and letting her eyes fall on the location of each thing. She had her long brownish-red hair pulled up to keep from her face and around her lilac dress wore an embroidered apron, no doubt one out of her many creations. This change in her appearance meant only one thing. She was about to bake.
She had come to the point during her special project for France that she was struggling. Pricking her fingers on the needles, unable to sew properly with shaky hands, and unable to distinguish which fabric went with the pattern, all these were signs that it was time to take a break. And when she took a break she always did the one other thing she was good at, baking. She had decided then and there that she was going to make something special.
She was preparing for Rose Petal Jam.
'Hmm…and I need about 3 pounds of red rose petals…'
She paused then sighed. Where on earth would she get that amount of roses? She wasn’t sure if there were any around the area to begin with. She gave an ugly disappointed frown. She guessed that she’d have to try to make something else despite craving the taste of sweet jam spread on a piece of Danish.

((Its ok~ I practically suck at everything))
Seychelles skipped into the common room. Her shift was finally over and now she can go do whatever she wants. She was planning on "borrowing" America's games but today she felt a bit more hyperactive. She wanted to do something more than just lying down on the couch and staring into a video game for ages. She wanted to move about.
Seeing that there was nothing better to do in the common room, Sey went to the kitchen. She notice a familliar looking girl standing in front of the counter. Seychelles let out a smile. It was none other than Czrech. " Bonjour Czrech!" Seychelles shouted from across, using her french accent. She then skipped over to the girl and stopped right in front of her.
"What are you doing" Sey giggled.

At the sound of her name Czech looked up from her thoughts and saw a very familiar face. It was none other than Seychelles, or just 'Sey' for short! She gave a large grin. She loved that French accent...much like Frederick the Great she had a great love for all things French...then of course there wasn't really anything she didn't like about her fellow European nations!
"Guten tag Sey!" she said with a cheerful smile.
"Oh I was just about to make some Rose Petal Jam!" she said as her mind almost forgot the lack of the most I portent ingredient...roses petals...

"Rose, Petal... Jam?" Seychelles ask in confusion. Was there such thing in this world? Well if a Czrech know how to make it sey guessed there must be such thing in this world. And if a kind of food like this exsist, that mean sey has to try it.
"Can i help?~" She skipped happily to Czrech, looking at what the european has done already.

Czech smiled at the nation's enthusiasm, finally someone to bake with! It had been so long she had baked with someone...about as long since when she was but a baby and was helping "Mama" Hungary in the kitchen. She turned to her ingredients seeing the sugar, lemon, measuring cups, sauce pan and then the lack of roses petal.
"Well...I could of made it...IF I had the rose petals for it!"
She felt her brow furrow...she was a Czech and when she wanted something to be done she was willing to do anything to get it done...she looked over to Sey then she perked up as her mind came up with an idea!
"Hey Sey, aren't really good at gathering supplies?"

"Rose Petals...?" Sey asked czrech. WHy would rose petals be needed to make Rose petal jam... Oh right... cause it's call "Rose petal jam". Silly Sey. "There are some in the garden. I'll go get some for you!" Sey giggled as she left for the greenhouse.
She rushed up to the greenhouse and searched for the rose section. Finally after searching for the section, she finally found it. Happy, she picked the red rose and plucked some of its petals up. Then skipped back to the kitchen.
"here! A few rose petals!~" Sey sang as she pass them to czrech.

Czech was quiet as she looked them over. Though some would just go for your 'looks fine to me!' rose petals, Czech thought like a German! And the German way was that only the finest materials could be used! Taking a petal, she observed in complete silence. the red was very beautiful, almost like scarlet, it felt soft to the touch yet firms she gave it a slight tug on either side. She then brought it to her nose. She inhaled quietly then smiled. So fragrant...this was what the jam would taste like...the smell of roses.
"It's perfect!" She said with a jump and a twirl. She went straight to the sink and washed her hands to begin the work.
"Now then, do you think that you could go back into the garden and get lets say...about a dozen more?" She asked this with a smile. She was excited...finally she could make her treat...and not alone! But with her new friend, Sey!

Did she just say a dozen more?! "huh?! A dozen more?!" Seychelles groaned. "Fine..." Seychelles replied before dragging herself into the greenhouse. Why does Czrech need a dozen? Was'nt 10 petals enough? Sey let out a sigh and opened the doors to the greenhouse.
"Ten... Eleven..." Sey said, plucking out the petals of the red rose. ((Im been thinking about the game Ib... This really suddenly scared me....)) "Twelve! There, a dozen!!!" Sey jumped forjoy as she raced back to the kitchen. She jumped and hugged the red haired girl as soon as she reached the kitchen.
"I got the petals!!! What now?~" Sey chuckled happily.

Czech smiled as she began to place the roses in a small colander then placed them over the running sink to wash them. Once shaking them of water then placed them down.
"You can coat the petals I petals in sugar Sey!"
She pushed the colander with the wet petals then passed a A large bag of sugar to the fellow nation. This was one of the best part of the job as well as the messiest. When she would do it, Czech would constantly clean while coating the petals like the clean freak she was. This way she could clean while someone else did the dirty work so to speak.
She gave an approving nod to her with a cleaning rag ready in hand.
"Go ahead mein freund! Dig in! And don't worry, it doesn't matter how much sugar you add! Even if you get too much it will only make it taste better!"

"Er...Ok!" Sey said before taking a letal and smashing it into the sugar. This made some sugar spill out. Sey did'nt pay attention to the spilled sugar and took more petals to coat. Until the last petal was coated. She was enjoying this. Well at least she finished her job as a groundskeeper and had her own free time.
"Done!" Sey said befor placing the last petal onto the bowl fille with coated flowers.

Czech wiped the sweat from her brow as she held up with wash rag. She had also finished. Finsihed cleaning the mass of sugar that was on both the countertop and floor. She gave a large grin pushing her reddish bangs from her eyes.
"Gut! Now we can start the jamming!"
She then went to the ready sauce pan. She placed it on the stove turning the heat on high, then placed two cups of water in turning now to Sey.
"Now you can put in 3 cups of sugar!! This is to help make the jam well...jammy!" She said with a large giggle like the child she was. She paused and looked to Sey quietly with thought.
"Hey Seychelles...what treats did you make in your country?"

"Well... I always eat some moulouk. But thats machine made food..." Seychelles said. She real.y wondered if her country had any real hand-made snacks. Well, she only eat spicy fish and rice before, was that a treat to her? " I don't really make treats. Most of the, are machine made." Seychelles giggled, pouring out two cups of sugar into the pan.
"Well, is this common in your country?" Seychelles asked as she poured the last cup of sugar in.

Czech smiled, glad that she was getting to know the fellow nation! It was always nice to have friends and allies especially in times like these. She remembered being alone before during WWII where she and her brother were their only friends...but that was then and this was now!
"Oh nein!" She said shaking her head no as she started to add the lemon juice. "This was actually a recipe we Europeans borrowed from England! He was the first one to invent this yummy treat!" She paused after placing the roses in to look to Sey as something suddenly struck her.
"From what I hear you were raised by England, Sey?"

"Um...Nope..." Seychelles replied. Was she known as England's territory? Argh not again. "Well... Actually its France..." Sey said before helping Czrech throw in some petals into the bowl. This should taste good... Wait! Did'nt England made this recipe?!
"Um... Are you sure its safe to eat one of England's recipe? Did you by anychance modify it?" Yes Sey wasworried of getting food poisoning or actually die from eating England's food. She wanted to still live you know. But Czrech was mking this... It seems safe to eat.

Czech looked up at the look of hesitance and a slight dash of fear in her friend's eyes then realized it must have been the very thought of British food. Yes she was very much aware of how people thought hisnfood was grotesque though looking rather edible at the same time.
"Oh yes there is not need to worry!" She assured Sey with a pat on the back. "You shouldnt tell England...but we improved it!" she loomed over she shoulders cautiously then leaned in to whisper in Sey's ear. "He never used enough sugar!" She giggled to herself as she began to cut up another lemon, the sweet smell of roses wafting in the kitchen.
"Ah...so France was you parent! I have known France since he was a pre teen and I was just a little girl! When I met him he trespassed on my mother's land...so in retaliation I struck him where it hurts most...his lower regions!" she began to laugh while reminiscing the past as the look on young France's faced filled her head.
