(K...I SUCK at titles...btw Nor I thought it would be fun if others could join in too! k here I go! )
It proved to be a very trying day for young Czech and her amazing skills as a seamstress. If anyone were to look at the young lady's work they would have to admit that the craftsmanship was beyond a doubt of the finest caliber.
However even the greatest seamstress could find themselves either unmotivated or forlorn to continue on with their work.
For Czech it was a mix of both. She had found that she had finished most of her small projects and now had a desire to do something even bigger. Something special for her beloved brother Slovakia in honour of his arrival on the home base. Yet as soon as she sat herself at the sketchpad she found nothing came to mind on the matter.
Usually when sitting at a sketchpad she would find hundreds of ideas leave her mind and flow onto the paper. Yet today she found that both her mind and sketchpad were drawing a blank. It seemed that the dreaded artist's block had taken hold of her once again.
To make herself feel better, she dressed up in her nice scarlet red sundress, replaced her blue scarf with a creamy white silk neck wrap and tied her long reddish brown hair up in a sloppy bun showing off her pretty blue green eyes to be seen by all.
She was dressed nice yet still didn't feel any more better than before. This required something extra in order to make her happy. After she had rummaged through her belongings she had at last found it. Her large cook book that was filled to the brim with tasty recipes she had collected over the years. Whenever in doubt she would take the book out and search through it until she found a treat worth baking...and of course worth eating as well!
So now she stood quietly in the kitchen leafing through her vast book looking over every recipe and picture with a warm smile looking for just the right thing to catch her eye.
