Name: Belgium [Manon Peeters]
Gender: Female
Appearance: Belgium is a bit taller than average woman. She has short and wavy, golden blonde hair, and almost always wears a ribbon headband. Her eyes are a shade forest green. Usually she wears a khaki uniform.
Personality: At first glance it is easy to say that Belgium is a very cheerful person. She seems to be always smiling and socializing with others. She likes company very much, and enjoys talking and being with others. The young woman is very friendly, and enjoys making new friends. With her attitude, it's not very hard. Belgian always believes the best about everyone, and usually trusts the first impressions. This isn’t necessarily a good thing, because it means that it is easy to take advantage of her.
She has been some kind of big sister figure throughout history, and she also acts like that. Manon likes children, finding them adorable. Belgian tends to be protective sometimes, even if it's about other adults. She likes to help others, and is pleased when she can make herself of assistance. She hates feeling and being seen as useless. She’s a diligent person, and does work when it’s needed.
Belgium isn't very big nation, and it isn't recognized very much either. Therefore Manon isn't the most outstanding person. Yet still her pleasant personality makes having and making friends easy. Sometimes she hopes that she would be noticed more. Nation isn't any kind of attention-whore, but she has been overlooked so many times in history, that a bit respect would be nice.
Manon can also act serious, when the situation requires. She's quite good at reading the atmosphere. She knows how to behave like situation requires, but despite this she usually prefers to try lighten up the mood. Belgian dislikes gloomy and heavy atmosphere, it makes she feel uneasy.
Belgium is genuinely happy person, but she also hides some of her feelings under the cheerful cover. Manon dislikes being seen as weak, so she tries her best to be strong. She never cries in public, neither does anything else what could be considered as “being weak”. Especially, if others are being hurt, she is the one who stays strong for them, the one who will help them and cheer them up. Even if inside she feels as hurt.
Throughout history she had been pushed around, especially by her siblings. Belgian has grown up to be patient and doesn't get angry easily. But when you go too far, she'll be really mad. And when she's mad, she's scary. So try your best to not anger her.
Overall, Belgium is a cheerful and friendly big sister, with her more serious, unseen side as well.
Relations with other chars: Manon gets along with everyone, and even if someone doesn’t like her, she tries her best to be nice towards them. She doesn’t really hold grudges, and most likely wont have enemies other than zombies (at least not on her side). Sure, she’s most familiar with her siblings Netherlands and Luxembourg, as well as Spain and Romano

About yourself: You can call me pike, or use some variation of the character name. I’m 15, and from Finland (timezone currently GMT+3), therefore my English may not be the best. Currently I’m in the finnish equivalent of high school, so I might get a bit busy from time to time. I’ll try my best to stay active, though.
Pairing friendly?: As for myself, I can rp anything, but my preferred pairings for belbel are netherlands/belgium, spain/belgium and hungary/belgium. But if any other ship seems to work out in rp, I’ll do it with pleasure. As for pairings overall, there are many ones I like, and none I couldn’t tolerate.

Belgium opened her eyes and yawned loudly. She stood up while stretching, having no idea why she slept on the floor at the first place. ‘Where am I? When did I fall asleep? Why did I sleep on the floor? What is happening?’ There were many questions in woman’s head, and she had answer to none of them.
The hallway, where she found herself sleeping was completely strange to her. Belgian didn’t remember being in this part of the mansion before now. She shrugged. Not only because it was cold, but also because the situation was kind of creepy. Waking up in a completely unfamiliar place, with no one around. Camille usually wasn’t afraid of being alone, but now she felt uncertain.
Nation took few hesitated steps, and then started to walk more determined. It felt like she knew where she should go now. Well, she didn’t know, but someone else knew. Being controlled wasn’t nice, but it was better than just standing there without moving at all.
Camille had walked for a while now, and wondered when she will be there where she should be. Or will she ever stop walking. When she passed a big, wooden door, that something what moved her in the first place told her to stop. Belgian stared at the door. It was so large, that she believed that there was a large room behind it.
But what if it was a trap? If inside of the room were some monsters that will kill her or something? ‘No, it’s not a time to be coward’ she decided and pressed her ears against the door. Camille heard familiar voices. Seemed that there were other nations. Relieved, Belgium opened the door.
Woman stood on an entrance of the room. Room was, how she had suspected, rather large. Belgian looked around. Green eyes wandered around the room. There were few nations, chatting with each other. Then blonde noticed those grey things in the corners of the hall.
Instinctively, nation checked that she had her gun with her. There it was, in the pleat of her costume. She really hoped that she wouldn’t have to use it. That those things won’t do anything.
