Wasn't it just yesterday that I came?
The boy clutched at his white sailor shirt, recalling when he had first entered the warehouse.
I was alone then...
He stared blankly at the wall as he drifted over to the worn couch almost as if he was in a trance. He sat quietly, his eyes not moving from the wall.
And I sure feel alone now...
Sealand slowly lifted his hand to his face to wipe away the tears he wasn't aware had fallen. I just got here! Why did they have to leave? He remembered their welcoming arms, their bright smiles, their features lighting up and their eyes forgetting the hardships they had faced when they alighted upon...their...child.
He remembered their parting words... "We're going out for a while...take care of yourself..."
Their mouths had smiled, but their eyes were sad. Even the young boy could tell something was amiss.
"Why did they have to leave?" Sealand whispered, the sound leaving his barely moving lips to drift off into the silent room.

Hong Kong wandered down from his bunk, where he couldn't sleep. Even if it wasn't dark outside, he really had nothing else to do. The brunette wandered by the common room, deciding to poke his head in to see if there was anyone new he hadn't seen yet.
But he hadn't expected the scene he was seeing now. Sealand, in his crumpled sailor uniform was on one of the couches. Crying. Now, Hong Kong had never been a comforter. Or Mr. Emotions. So he wasn't sure why this feet brought him over to silently sit by the younger nation.
The teen hadn't spoken to him since before he returned to China. Which was a very long time ago. Bringing one hand up, he lightly brushed blond hair out of his eyes, deciding that it was probably a good idea to leave the boy to sleep the pain away.
He vacated his spot on the ratty couch, walking back towards the thing they called a door and his bunk. Pausing before exiting the room, Hong Kong mentally decided to check on Sealand later.

Singapore skipped to the common area full of joy for some reason. Maybe it was because she woke up this morning with a butterfly on her pillow. It was such a beautiful butterfly, it was a pity that it was going to die in a few hours after laying its eggs. But once it lays its eggs, caterpillars will appear and turn into beautiful butterflies in a few months. She smiled again and continued to the commons without noticing Hong Kong pass by. As she entered, she realized that another nation was inside already. On the couch, a blonde boy with a sailor suit was crying. Shocked at the sight, she ran to the nation and put her hands on his shoulders.
"Why are you crying!?" She asked. "Aren't you Sealand!! You're that boy who's always bouncing around the warehouse like some sort of happy-go-lucky freak?"
Then Singapore paused and gave herself a confused face. Where did she think of such a statement.
"I mean... It's such a lovely day today! Why the long face?" Singapore rephrased.

Sealand stared at his hands. They were young, soft, and had not yet seen all the hardships of this world. But his heart had seen a new hardship.
With tears still uncontrollably running down his face, the young boy wept more, drowning in his deepening sorrow. Suddenly he was interrupted by a bright voice. "Why are you crying!?Aren't you Sealand!! You're that boy who's always bouncing around the warehouse like some sort of happy-go-lucky freak?"
Right. Now I'm a freak?
Watery blue eyes stared up at Singapore.
"Why I'm crying?" He was forcefully reminded of why he was crying, and began to cry harder, wailing uncontrollably at the thought.
"C-cuz...my parents are goooooooone!" He sobbed into his hands.

England just wanted a cup of tea, was that so hard to ask for? But no, no cup of tea in the morning- papers from Europe to fill out and send urgently. None for lunch, either, he'd been busy the entire day. Needless to say, England was very moody. And now, after dinner, he just wanted a nice cuppa and to have a good night's sleep, but no. As usual, something had to ruin it for him.
"Blasted Nations, behaving like children and running around screaming at a time like this." he grumbled to himself, letting the water boil for his tea and exiting the kitchen to check on what the noise was. "Keep it down!" he yelled, taking a few steps in the direction of the loud noise, which sounded more and more like wailing as he got closer. "Bloody hell, what's going on?" he sighed irritably as he stepped up towards the common room and crossed his arms.

Singapore jumped as Sealand started to cry harder. She turned around the room to see if anyone could help her comfort the young nation to only find herself and Sealand. She slapped forehead telling herself that she was stupid to ask the reason for Sealand's tears.
"Um... Sealand... Don't cry." she told him.
"Bloody hell, what's going on?"
She turned at the direction of the new voice and saw England at he entrance of the commons. She quickly hid behind the couch afraif of the tone in his voice.
"H-Hi Un-Uncle England." Singapore greeted.
