Raising the small hand-mirror up to the level of her head, Liechtenstein inspect for any strains of hair that was out of place. She fixed her ribbon and brushed invisible dust off her dress. Instead of wearing her usual military clothes, today the female nation is wearing her favorite dress. Why? Because Liechtenstein has date. Singapore invited her over for tea this afternoon at her bunk (as expected of a former British colony). This will be the first time spending time with her new friend. Even though Singapore‘s and Liechtenstein’s bunk is only a few bunks apart, she dress up for the special occasion. If she lean over pass the beds, she could probably see Singapore preparing tea and the Asian nation could probably see the European nation fixing her hair for the tea party.
I hope we get along and become very good friends. Liechtenstein thought to herself. Satisfied that she looked perfect, she slowly walks to Singapore’s place.

Singapore lay her head on her pillow.
'Boring...' she thought to herself.
She had absolutely nothing to do. She looked at the bed on top of hers. That was Italy's bed, but she never really talked to that coward. Not that he was a big coward, it's just that she couldn't stand his behavior of running away from a fight. But other than that, he was fine.
Then, she heard footsteps. They were very light. She looked up to see who it was. It was Liechtenstein. She had a very bright expression on her face and was dressed up quite nicely. But for what? She was heading to Singapore's direction and she had a hunch that she had planned something with Liechtenstein.
'What did I plan?' Singapore asked herself. 'Did I even plan anything with Liechtenstein?'
She continued to think until Liechtenstein was standing beside her bed doing little continuous jumps.
"Uh... hi!" said Singapore.

“Uh …hi!” Singapore greeted.
“Hello, Singapore.” Liechtenstein said slowly, confused. Instead of having tea cups prepared, like she imagined, Singapore didn’t lay out anything. Of course, Liechtenstein understand it would be difficult, if not impossible, to find all the elements needed for a tea party but she didn’t think it would be that hard to maybe at least find paper cups as a substituent for tea cups. There was awkward silence and the cheerful atmosphere was gone.
But Singapore was half lying down on her bed and her expression clearly said that she doesn’t know why the European country was here. Did Liechtenstein get the date wrong? That would be impossible; this date was the only thing on her mind since the moment was set up a day ago. She was sure it’s today. Did Singapore forget about our date? Unlikely, she was the one who planned and invited the female country over.
Then what’s the problem? Is the Liechtenstein’s fault? She certainly hopes not. Is it Singapore’s fault then? Again, she hopes Singapore wouldn’t forget something this important. Liechtenstein swallowed a small lump that was forming in her throat and try to word her question with without sounding rude in her mind. The silence stretch on and the ribbon haired girl found it very uncomfortable. She took a deep breath and slowly let it out then shifted her gazed away from the Asian country and up to the ceiling. Taking her right hand, she played with the ribbon as she ponder. There were more silence and prepared herself to ask.
“Whose bed is it up there?” At the end she didn’t ask the question that she have been pondering to herself. She couldn’t bring herself to ask, it would be too rude. Instead she hopes that Singapore would catch the problem.

"It's Italy's." Singapore answered.
She still wasn't sure why Liechtenstein was here. The enthusiasm around her was slowly disappearing. Singapore had to think fast, she didn't want to disappoint the European nation... even though she forgot was was going on.
'What am I forgetting?' Singapore asked herself. She thought back to her recent past. 'Let's see, I haven't seen her yesterday or the day before... but what about the day before that...?'
Then, a light bulb clicked.
'AH!!!' she screamed at herself. 'I INVITED THE GIRL OVER FOR TEA!!!!!!!'
"Um..." she started to say. She had to think of something... FAST!! "I... I wanted us to set up tea together! You know... so that we could... get to know each other better!"
She ended with a smile, hoping that she pulled off her little act.

"It's Italy's." Singapore answered.
Liechtenstein gave a slow absent nod, she know Italy from Germany. He is a kind man who likes to make pasta and take naps. But he is also carefree and a disorganized man according Germany’s complains. Like Germany, Singapore is a very clean and neat person so she couldn’t see Italy and her get along. Liechtenstein hopes that Singapore won’t scare him. If Germany is good friends with Italy, when why can’t Singapore? The thought of Singapore making pasta and leaving a big mess in the kitchen with Italy would have the ribbon-hair would have giggled to herself if she wasn’t feeling so down. Liechtenstein let out a small sigh; she doesn’t even know for sure that Singapore and Italy doesn’t get along. The female nation folded her hands in front of her as Singapore think. She didn’t know what the Asian country is thinking about but it was a bit amusing to watch.
"Um..." Singapore started to say. "I... I wanted us to set up tea together! You know... so that we could... get to know each other better!"
Liechtenstein suddenly felt both guilty and happy. So Singapore did remember and there wasn’t problem, she felt guilty for assuming that there was a problem. But European country was too happy to let guilty overcome her and gave a cheerful smile. Singapore is so smart to coming up with a way that they will be able to know each other better. Liechtenstein could imagine the two of them setting up tea while discussing about which type if tea they like or what type of tea cups they prefer.
“That is a very good idea,” Liechtenstein said, “Do you have teacups and tea?”
Liechtenstein hope Singapore has at least tea with her because she wasn’t sure if they were allowed to into the kitchen and tea from there because they were most likely England’s.

Thank goodness she had some tea bags with her! Although Singapore would actually prefer coffee, early experiences with England gave her a habit of drinking tea every once in a while.
"I have some tea with me." Singapore told Liechtenstein. "As for the cups, I'm sure we could grab some from the kitchen. Although, I do have a kettle here and some paper cups."
Singapore didn't know why she had all this stuff with her, but she was thankful. And besides, sometimes she gets a bit lazy in the morning to go all the way to the kitchen to boil some water. It's just too far! Her world was still small.
"Why don't we drag up some chairs and a table here?" Singapore suggested as she sat up. He put on her boots and stood beside the European nation. "Let's have a wonderful tea party of two!"

“Paper cup sounds fine,” the European country said, “I think it would be a bit difficult to drag chairs and a table up to the second floor. I don’t mind siting on the floor.” Since Singapore is a groundskeeper, the floor was mostly likely clean of any germs or dust so the thought of sitting on the floor didn’t bother her at all.
Liechtenstein clapped her hands together excitedly. When was the last time she have had tea with someone? Her enthusiasm faltered a little as she recalled her last memory of sharing tea with someone. It was something she had been trying not to think about ever since coming here but nevertheless the memory resurfaced and played in the nation’s mind. It was too late to push the stop button.
Even though the couch was luxurious and was probably made by the best, Liechtenstein sat uncomfortably and continued fidget at heavy silence. The sweet tea that she drank seem to turn bitter and cause her throat to become scratchy. Biscuits she had, before accompanying them with tea, churn in her tummy and found herself feeling her sick.
Across the room stood a man in a business suit, his back to her as he absently watch something out the expensive glass window that reached from the floor to the ceiling. Instead of looking at him, Liechtenstein focus on the heavy red-wine drapes at the side of the window which was tied by golden ropes. It took a lot of effort not to blink, fearing the tears collecting in her eyes would overflow and run down her check. Her boss, the man with his back to her, was asking her to leave. To leave her people, her land and most of all her brother.
“Switzerland would be going there too.” The man said over his shoulders as if reading her mind.
Those words was the reason why she decided to leave to a mysterious warehouse. So she can be with her brother to support him and be useful. Liechtenstein left, walking out of the office with documents detailing her travel to the warehouse.
She never talked to her boss after that, something she regretted. Liechtenstein must get in touch with her boss soon to make sure he is safe. Burying the sad memory in mind, she looked at Singapore and started a conversation.
“How are you enjoying your stay here so far? Have to met the rest of the other groundskeeper?” The ribbon-haired girl asked.

At first, Singapore thought that she was just imagining things, but turns out that she was wrong. Liechtenstein, for a moment, looked sad. But it was quickly replaced by a smile.
"How are you enjoying your stay here so far? Have to met the rest of the other groundskeeper?” The ribbon-haired girl asked.
Singapore stared at the blonde nation. Singapore never thought that she would see such an expression from such a cheerful--at least, she thinks that Liechtenstein is always cheerful--girl. Singapore got up from her bed and got some water boiling while she looked for the cups.
"I've really enjoyed my stay so far. Everyone is really nice and it's been quite interesting here. I've experienced things I've never thought could be possible at home. And even though it's a bit dirty, it's a very cozy place. And yes, I did meet Spain. He's quite an interesting nation. Unlike me, he can slip into his accent without being embarrassed. My slang is kind of weird. I haven't talked much to Italy, even though I'm sharing a bunk with him."
Singapore kept on talking to Liechtenstein until she felt a chill up her spine. She turned around and saw a hideous brown bug a few centimeters away from Liechtenstein's foot. She grabbed her knife that was deep within her pocket and threw it directly at the bug. Killing it in one shot.

((I FINALLY GOT IT POSTED XD))
"I've really enjoyed my stay so far. Everyone is really nice and it's been quite interesting here. I've experienced things I've never thought could be possible at home. And even though it's a bit dirty, it's a very cozy place.” Singapore answered as Liechtenstein sat down on the ground. The European girl was raised to be a proper lady at all times and the way she sat on the grounds of this warehouse was no exception. Her legs were folded back to the right of her side and she placed both of her hands on her lap with her back straight. “And yes, I did meet Spain. He's quite an interesting nation. Unlike me, he can slip into his accent without being embarrassed. My slang is kind of weird. I haven't talked much to Italy, even though I'm sharing a bunk with him."
“I don’t think your slang is weird, I think it brings out who you are.” Liechtenstein said but Singapore seemed distracted.
“Singapore, is there something-“ But before European nation could finish her question, her Asian friend pulled out a shining object from her pocket. Liechtenstein didn’t have time to react as Singapore aimed and threw the knife at her. The female nation shrieked and jumped back in surprise. Her wide eyes fell on the knife; the sharp tip was buried in cement and something brown. A few seconds after the shock left her system, Liechtenstein recognized the brown lump to be a bug. A very big bug. She shuddered at the thought of it crawling on her foot.
“T-thank you.” Liechtenstein said, immediately after she understood what have happened. The European girl took interest in her friend’s agility and wasted no time in asking questions. “That was impressive throw! How did you manage to hit such a small moving object?” For a bug, it was big. But for a target, that was different matter altogether.

Singapore shuddered again at the sight of the roach. It was disgusting. Thank goodness Singapore hadn't seen any rats here. Those were the worst. Then she remembered Liechtenstein, she did hear what she said, however, she heard it in a semi-conscious state. So she had to rewind the memory stored in her brain to remember what he said. When she finally recalled, Singapore blushed. It was the first time she had anyone tell her that her accent wasn't weird. Well, the first in a while.
"Thanks." Singapore said.
“That was impressive throw! How did you manage to hit such a small moving object?” she heard Liechtenstein say.
'How did I do it?' Singapore thought to herself. She never really knew herself. But she did know that she learned he miltary skills from Japan. He was quite strict at that time, maybe it was because she was scared to be on Japan's bad side so she did everything as perfect as possible.
"Um... I was taught by Japan on how to throw a knife." Singapore explained. But it didn't seem like it completely answered the question. "Whenever I see a target, my hand instinctively adjusts itself to the right position. Once I let it go, I let luck do the rest and the knife hits it. I guess I'm just a lucky nation."

Liechtenstein nodded, taking in this new information. She knew that Japan was skilled with his long Japanese sword but she did not know that he was also skilled in knives. “Then I guess I’m also a lucky nation to be able to have a wonderful friend like you.” The European nation said with a smile.
She had to admit, it was a bit lonely at first in warehouse with no other girls to keep her company. Her big brother was busy training and Liechtenstein understood that it was to protect this place and her from the living dead.
Later on she caught a few glimpse of other female countries but before she could talk to them, they were gone. Liechtenstein did not know where they went and she did not want to ask around -afraid that death have taken them away. Nevertheless, things are better now because she have Argentina, Seychelles and Singapore. The European nation felt more confident knowing that she has friends she could count on.
Liechtenstein then pat off non-existing dust off her dress, it was a habit of hers, and gestured down to the first floor. “Shall we go boil water?” The only stove she knows of is down stairs in the kitchen.
A question popped into her head and Liechtenstein asked, “What kind of tea are we having today?” Maybe Singapore brought some of Asian tea; she would love to try them. Or maybe English tea; Liechtenstein it have been a long time since she have those.

Singapore agreed on going downstairs to boil the water.
“What kind of tea are we having?"
Singapore walked towards where she kept her tea. She took out some tea packets and sniffed at them. None of them had any labels so she relied on her smell and taste to figure out the type of tea she was having. She turned to Leichtenstein.
"Well, I have two types of tea here. Their both Asian tea. One is Chrysanthemum and the other is green tea. Which would you prefer? Oh wait, scratch that, I also have earl grey." Singapore told Liechtenstein. Then she remembered her knife. Afraid of ruining the tea if she picked it up with her hands, she shoved the numerous tea bags to Leichtenstein and picked up her knife. Flickin parts of the dead insect of her knife she also took out a tissue and wiped her blade and her hands.
After throwing the tissue away, she took the tea bags from Liechtenstein and motioned downstairs.
"Shall we?" Singapore asked.

Liechtenstein nodded and skipped down the stairs. One of her hand was holding the end of her dress off to one side so that it slightly lifted and it gave her legs room to move. She hummed a lullaby as she happily made her way toward kitchen. The small cookhouse did not have much to offer but there was a stove off the side and that was enough. Liechtenstein turned around and thought of options Singapore gave her.
“Mmm…I never had green tea before,” Liechtenstein commented. Isn’t green tea also popular in Japan too?
“Can we have that?” The European girl smiled at the chance of learning something new about Asian culture.
(Sigh, its so short)

Singapore followed the blonde as she skipped down the stairs. To her, Liechtenstein looked as if she was enjoying this. She smiled a bit as she saw the somewhat enthusiastic nation hop down the stairs and towards the kitchen. She seemed like a kid even though she was older than Singapore. She looked at the tea bags in her hand and picked a green tea bag for Liechtenstein and decided on chrysanthemum for herself.
When she reached the kitchen, he headed for the cupboards for a kettle and put some water in it. She boiled the water as she went to get some cups. She didn't bother to bring the paper cups since they were going to the kitchen already. She found the cups and put the tea bags into them. That's when she heard the kettle whistle, alarming her that the water was boiled. She turned off the gas and poured out the water into the cups. She gave each of them a good mix before throwing the tea bags away and setting them on the table.
((It's not that short!! Look! I wrote shorter to make u feel better. lol))

(We have a table? And you LIE! You wrote 66 words more than me!) Liechtenstein quietly watched as Singapore expertly brew tea for the two of them. Her friend moved around the kitchen knowing where everything is located. As expected of a groundskeep Liechtenstein thought with pride as she stood, out of the way, absorbing the steps her Asian use make her green tea. It was certainly different from how she does it. But then maybe procedures are different… because of the different kind of tea!
The European nation felt as though she was entering a new world. She have no idea how diverse and complicated tea can be.
As Singapore place the cups on the table, Liechtenstein sat down in one of the available chairs. She rest both of her hands on her lap as she waited for her host to sit was well. Liechtenstein thought, a little too late, that it would have been more polite to wait for Singapore to sit down first or been welcome to sit before her host.
