Drinking ‘til the night’s gone ((OPEN))

[Prussia]

((Bonus points for anyone who can tell where the title came from. But yeah, sorry that starting this took so long, Czech! Here we go, everyone feel free to join in))

Prussia was humming to himself, throwing a can of beer up in the air and then catching it again, his other hand occupied by a six pack of more delicious beverages. After a day of training and zombie fighting, he was ready to sit down on his bunk and just… relax for a little while. Drink. Get wasted. Maybe harass some sleeping nations.

He brought the can to his lips and took a sip, throwing a glare at the kitchen’s general direction. No matter what anyone else said, he was going to make that alcohol cake one day. And then he’d slip everyone a piece of it and show how good it was and just how stupid they were for ever doubting him and his cooking skills! But that was for later. Now, he’d jump on his bunk.

Or, that was plan anyway, until he happened upon a familiar face among the rows of bunks. It was Czech, preoccupied with something and seeming not to have even noticed him. How dared she? Anyone should have sensed his awesomeness approaching from miles away! She needed a lesson, and, hey, maybe he could turn his lonely drinking hours into something more fun on the side.

“Hey, kid!” He called out to the girl, grabbing one of his beers and throwing it at her. He bet she’d fail to catch it. She was always so… fidgety when he was near. But hey, who could blame her? Who wouldn’t be nervous when dealing with someone as great and handsome as him?

“I bet ya can’t down that faster than me!” He challenged, one hand on his hip, one still gripping his can. He had seen her drink before, not to the point of getting actually drunk, but still. He knew she could hold her alcohol pretty well. This might actually get interesting… “And I bet you can’t drink more than me. In fact, I can probably drink twice as much as you!”

Prussia was getting in the mood for a challenge right now, and so he turned so the rest of the silent bunk area could hear. “In fact, I bet none of you losers can! How about it? Wanna throw a little contest to prove me right? My bunk, right now, let’s go! Unless of course, you’re all wussies!”

[Czech Republic]

(You got me! I give up! ;D And no problem hun!! This is gonna be loads of fun!)

It was a genuine moment of peace for the Czech. There she sat on the bottom bunk belonging to her, a needle in hand, a variety of assorted colorful spools of thread, and her pillow's case in her hand. She was doing some simple embroidery patterning the pillow case to look more like a beautiful flowing garden with butterflies and bumblebees. Her smile was very warm as she put more yellow thread on her needle for a bumblebee that was left unfinished. If one were to look at it they would most definantly agree that it was a work of art but she was far too modest to ever admit it as anything other than a silly stitchwork.

"Hey kid!"

The moment of peace was interrupted by the sound of a very loud, obnoxious and very familuar voice. She looked up suddenly and saw that it was in fact none other than Prussia.

"AHH!!" She screamed at his sudden appearence being that she was terrified of him. And who wouldn't be terrified of the guy who's torment you when you were just a little baby and broke your arm in their first fight?

She was quiet, cheeks flushed her heart racing in her chest at the sudden surprise. Her eyes widened when she saw soemthing was thrown in her general direction making her throw her hands up defensively only to pause when she saw in midair that it was a can.

She then reached out from her bunk and caught it with ease bringing it to her face to inspect. It was a can of beer. She looked up and showed a look of genuine confusion; why would he give her something? Usually it was the other way around. She was still slightly shaken from his sudden appearence as she gave him a terrified look.

"Why did you have to do that Lord Prussia! I'm fragile!"

She saw a smile spreading on his face making her freeze wondering why he was smiling like that.

“I bet ya can’t down that faster than me!” He challenged. “In fact, I bet none of you losers can! How about it? Wanna throw a little contest to prove me right? My bunk, right now, let’s go! Unless of course, you’re all wussies!”

Her face flushed this time in annoyance. If there was one thing that you could do wrong with a Czech it was challenge them over alcohol...Czech drank more beer than all of Europe and it was something that the little nation was very proud of. So for some to say that it made her a little...tense. Even if it was Lord Prussia.

Standing up she left the saftey of her bunk to go up to Prussia and give him a challenging glare a deep frown set on her face, a darkening aura coming over her, one that was simular to her cousin Russia's when he became dark.

"I'm sorry Lord Prussia...but...could you repeat what you've just said...?"

[Prussia]

((Heh, t'was from Nickelback's "Burn it to the Ground". It was on and seemed relevant, so I snagged that line as a title. |D But yess, let the drinking commence!))

Prussia had already discarded one of his cans onto someone's bed and grabbed another when he suddenly felt something... dark approaching him. He turned, his drink still raised to his lips and cocked an eyebrow. There, standing right in front of him stood Czech, seeming very pissed over something. Very, very pissed over something.

The white-haired nation instinctively took a step back, eying her with surprise. What was up with her all of a sudden? Prussia had barely managed to open his mouth to ask just that, when he already got his answer.

"I'm sorry Lord Prussia...but...could you repeat what you've just said...?"

Prussia's nervousness turned right back into amusement. Ohh, so that's what this was about? His little taunt got to her! Well wasn't that great, now she definitely wouldn't back down from the challenge. At least one drinker, scored!

"Haa, you didn't hear?" He grinned, leaning closer, though he made sure to stay far away enough to run if she tried to go all medieval on his ass. You never knew with women. "You want me to repeat it that badly? Alright..."

He leaned even closer and whispered, making sure each word carried the same tone of challenge. "I-can-drink-more-than-you."

He straightened back up and laughed. "Or what, you want to prove me wrong? Then don't just stand there all scary, grab a can and show me!" He shouted, pointing a finger towards his now half-empty six pack. Man, he'd have to go fetch more drinks. Luckily he had some good stuff hidden safely under his bed, just for occasions like these.

[Czech Republic]

She kept her dangerous glare when he looked down on her with those red eyes of his. This made Czech just a little edgy, those eyes were always so imposing! She froze when he leaned closer to her to whisper.

"I-can-drink-more-than-you."

Those words replayed over and over in her head until her her fists were clutched so hard that her knuckles turned white and the aluminum can creak threatening to explode from the pressure of her strength. That was the final straw...it had to be a record! He had managed to piss the nation off in under 6 minutes.

"Watch closely."

Confindently she opened her beer then raised it to her lips drinking it down like it was water, the liquid running down her throat without a single sign of discomfort. In under a minute she had the whole can consumed. She gave a very sweet smile licking her lips. It tasted really good! Not as good as Czech beer but it would do!

Her eyes fell onto Prussia flashing her cocky smile a note of challenge in her eyes now. She realised how she was staring at him and looked away quickly, crushing the can in her hands in a nervous fit. This was not going to end well. She could tell right off the bat. For who? Only the time spent drinking would they know.

[Prussia]

Prussia could see the other nation was ready to boil over any minute now. He just hoped she wouldn't retaliate by getting violent. He hoped she’d get all ready to prove him wrong instead and, much to Prussia’s joy, seemed like she was about to do just that. Sounding determined, far different from her usual, timid self, she raised her can and looked up at him with defiance.

"Watch closely."

"Oh I will," Prussia promised, grinning, hands crossed across his chest. The girl started to drink... and drink... and drink until the can was empty. Prussia's grin had slightly faded with each gulp the girl had taken, but he struggled to keep himself from showing that he was slightly impressed. It was just one can anyway, how difficult was drinking just one of those? Now, if she could do the same to ten bottles, then yeah, he might acknowledge she was worth something, but until then...

"That was nothing!" Prussia commented with a shrug, trying his best to ignore the challenging look in her eyes. He wouldn't admit this was a proper competition, no way.

The confidence in the girl's eyes was quick to disappear however, as she seemed to only now realize the defiance she had showed. She crushed her can and looked away, nervous and back to her usual self again. Ha, he knew she couldn't keep that up for long!

"If you really want to impress me, you're gonna need to do a loot better than that!" Prussia declared, at the same time getting an idea. He was feeling too lazy to go fetch any drinks himself, so- "First we need some more stuff to drink though. So what are you waiting for? Go fetch some good shit for 'Lord Prussia', stat!" He paused for a while before he added: “Oh and, get some others to come along. I want eeeveryone to see your face when you lose!”

[Czech Republic]

He didn’t need to tell her twice. She took off at once so to find some beer and some people as well. Her sweet shy side didn’t want to admit it...but her dark side wanted to make him bow to her greatness. She felt a twinge of annoyance at his last remark then she nonchanotly threw her can over her shoulder. She didn’t pay attention to where it was heading so when it Prussia directly on the head it could not be counted as her fault.
Stealing a look over her shoulder she giggled to herself and took off even faster, congradualting herself on that bold move not even thinking that she might regret it later.


 mn After raiding the kitchen's fridge of beer as well as her own secretly hidden stash, she walked with it now in one of her sewing bags that she always kept on hand at all times. She now had one more task; to find others to witness and even potentially join in the drinking game. No one was in the kitchen when she entered, no one was strolling the halls and every room seem to be pty of any living thing. She pouted...what was she to do? She didn't want to make Prussia mad at her for failing a simple task...Her thoughts were on the possible scolding that would soon come for only getting the job half done that is until she stop dead in her tracks.


Her eyes fell onto the bunk that belonged to the Nation known as Spain who just happened to be occupying it now. She didn't care what the hell he was doing at this moment, all she cared about was where he would soon be.Hey he was someone! It was better than nothing! Plus he was s good friend of Prussia's which might of counted for something.


Strolling over she stopped at his bunk showing him one of her most sweetest, most adorable smiles she could ever give.


"Ahoj Spain! What are you doing?" She asked in her sing song voice.

Spain grumbled some obscene curses under his breath, wondering just who the hell thought it was a good idea to wake him up when he was ACTUALLY SLEEPING FOR ONCE WHICH SEEMS TO NEVER HAPPEN.

"Que." He growled a bit, turning over to see just who the fuck this idiot was. "Can't you see I'm sleeping-"

Czech.

Czech decided to wake him up.

With a sigh, he sat up and rubbed his tired eyes. "What's wrong, Cecha? Did something happen?" Maybe she was here because of an emergency. HOPEFULLY she was here because an emergency. If she woke her up because she was bored... He didn't know how he'd react.

[Czech Republic]

Czech flinched slightly as she stared at the Spainard. His usually happy sunshine smile was gone and in its place was a kind of scary look of annoyance as well as anger. She made a mental note to never wake him up from a nap again. But so long as she was here she might as well ask him…It wasn’t like he was going to hit her…hopefully. She closed her eyes taking just a second to herself…time to turn on the old Czech charm.

When she opened her eyes she showed him one of the cutest and sweetest smiles that she or probably anyone could make. She leaned over so that she was closer to his face then gave a puppy dog eye look seeing that she really did interrupt his sleep.

“I’m so sorry Spain…” She said sincerely keeping up the cuteness.

“I didn’t know you were sleeping otherwise I wouldn’t of bothered you…”

She then pulled back looking away as she rubbed one of her arms looking very bashful a small blush touching her cheeks.

“We--well Lord Prussia was making fun of me before…he said that he can drink far better than I could ever do it…and you know that I consume the most beer in Europe and my nation has the 3rd best beer in Europe…So it really hurt me when he dare say he’d take away one of the only things I can proudly say about myself…”

She then looked up and made direct eye contact with him and gave him the Czech Pout. This was a guarantee that he would do as she said or at the least not attempt to murder her for disturbing his sleep.

“So…could you please come and witness me kick his ass and send him home crying…Pleaseeeeee I need as much support as I can get Spain…”

In his half-awake state, Spain only heard about half of what she said. He got the apology and waved it off, and he got something about Prussia and sending him home... but what really upset him was the fact that alcohol was getting involved.

AGAIN.

Does no one understand the fact that even though they weren't humans, alcohol affects them too? Just look at Eyebrows! That's all the proof you need!

"Honestly, I think I'll just kick his ass myself...." The Spaniard grumbled, hopping down off of his bunk and stretching. "I told everyone after the last time there was a drinking party that nothing good can come out of it. Now we're having another. Really, does anyone bother to listen to me?" he ranted under his breath as he strode towards where the albino was cockily awaiting with a six-pack of beer in one hand. "Alright, what's going on here? I made it clear that alcohol was to be consumed sparingly if at all so would you - and I do mean BOTH OF YOU - please explain to me what the hell you think you're doing?"

When he jumped down she followed after him keeping a distance. It was sure refreshing to see him like this...but not a good way...she certainly had not heard this from him...if she did then there would be no way that she would of asked him in the first place...she would've even tried to kidnap Austria or Hungary before even daring to if Spain was to act like this.

She couldn't help but smile when Prussia was being scolded...but frowned when he was mentioning both of them. She stood their silently then did the best thing that she knew how to in a situation like this. Her hand flew up and pointed right at Prussia accusingly.

"He started it!"

[Prussia]

Prussia cocked his head proudly when Czech went and obeyed him without a complaint. He turned too, just about to go to his bed and get the rest of the drinks he had hidden away, when the can the girl had been holding suddenly hit him on his head.

“Oww, hey, what give-,” Prussia growled as he turned, only to notice the girl already going down the stairs, too far away to probably hear. Keh, he’d make her pay during the competition by kicking her ass even worse now! There was no way anyone could beat him when it came to drinking. Even West couldn’t keep up with him!

Czech was completely out of sight now, so Prussia saw it safe to turn his back once more. He marched up to his bed, got on his knees and pulled out his secret stash from underneath the bunk. German beer, the best kind there was, coupled with a few bottles of vodka. Well, this’d be a start, at least, but he still hoped she’d be able to bring back more, along with those witnesses and possible participants.

Footsteps alerted Prussia just then, and so he turned… only to see Spain striding towards him. Uhoo, awesome! It’d been a while since the two of them and that old pervert had been together, so what better place for a reunion than a drinking contest? Prussia grinned, walking to greet his old friend, when… the impossible happened.

Spain got angry at him. Spain of all people. Prussia had to hold onto his bottles with both hands for them not to slip on the floor. Wha, what the fuck was wrong with the world? Next Austria’d actually grow a pair and the Italies would stop being cute!

Prussia did listen to Spain’s rant, though it took him a considerable while before he could really… understand any of the words that came out his mouth. Was he… s-seriously scolding him?! About the use of alcohol?

“Dude, what the- you sound like that damn tight-ass aristocrat all of a sudden!” Was all Prussia could retaliate with in his confusion. “What’s gotten into you, man? I haven’t heard anything like that! Definitely not! And come on, you can have a drink too if that’s… what this is about...?”

Prussia honestly had no idea what to do or say. This… wasn’t the Spain he used to know, and he didn’t really like the change.

"He started it!"

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Prussia turned to Czech. Now that, he knew how to reply to!

“Did not!”

Dios mio... when did I become everyone's babysitter?!

With a sigh, Spain pinched the bridge of his nose. Wonderful. Now they started acting like four year olds on the playground. Clearly they never EVER grew up. Well, he knew for a fact Prussia never did, but he would have expected just a little bit more from them. Though this wasn't an actual 'rule' of the warehouse, it did make sense and he would have liked it to be a real rule.

"It might have been before you were here, but after a fight broke out during a drinking party - that I got roped into and which didn't really end well - I realized that the last thing we need is a bunch of drunk nations getting into fights with each other OR not being able to fight the zombies properly. You can still drink, sure. But to avoid the likelihood of a situation where we have drunk nations and zombies, alcohol is supposed to be drunk sparingly, if at all."

With a small glare to the two of them, he looked them both over and nearly went to confiscate the alcohol.

"And don't you even think about starting a 'did not' 'did too' fight. I just woke up from finally getting sleep and I really don't need this right now. I would have thought that you two would have been able to act like mature adults seeing as you are adults, but clearly I was wrong and if you're going to continue with a game of 'blame the other person' like little children, then perhaps I should start treating you as such."

Spain went on to explain why drinking was such a bad thing, but his explanation hardly managed to convince Prussia; quite the contrary, in fact. A fight broke out last time people drank? Awesome, he was itching to get some proper training in! Not any agreed-upon exchanging of blows where neither side meant to really hurt the other, but a real fight with real blows and bruises to tell the tale. Zombies were fun to kill, but it didn't quite compare with punching and getting punched by another human being. How could Spain not get that? Should he punch him in the face? Prussia grinned. Maybe he should, maybe it'd remind him of the good old days and all the mischief they used to cause.

Before he got the chance to act on that thought however, Spain continued his lecture, and Prussia found his grin fading back away. Spain was just so... bizarre like this, and Prussia found himself unable to really say anything back once more. He had to try though. There was an awkward, charged silence lingering in the air once Spain finished with his spiel.

"I..." Prussia began, figuring it was as good a start as any. "I am an adult. But come on!" Prussia attempted to bring a smirk back on his face, hoping to encourage the other nation to smile too. He was so weird-looking when he didn't have that carefree, idiotic expression on.

"Nothing wrong with having fun! If we don't relax and do some fun shit every now and then, we'll end up worse than those damn zombies. More boring and braindead. Hey," Prussia punched Spain's shoulder playfully, "You know what I'm talkin' about, right? I just wanna liven things up a bit!"

He glanced at Czech and then leaned closer to Spain to whisper: "And I'm not gonna fight about it with her alright, but she did start this!"

[Czech Republic]

Czech nodded to Spain's little lecture and agreed. She had no idea what had come over her! She was a Czech, and Czech women had a rather big image to hold. They were responcible, organized and mature even at the young ages of twelve. And here she was, about to start a drinking fight with Prussia, her superior jsut to defend her title as top drinker? She didn't need to prove to him that she was the best drinker because she knew that she was! How silly of her to lose her head over something like this.

"And I'm not gonna fight about it with her alright, but she did start this!"

And thats when the whole ideals of Spain's speech went out of her mind and was replaced with the thoughts of revenge.

"You're a liar!" She yelled angrily. She might have been terrified of him but that didn't mean that she would defend herself against his lies. She strolled up to him and stood on her tip toes being that he was a giant compaired to him. An evil look was present in her eyes but decided against her rough methods thinking that maybe her civil mehtods would come in handy in a situation like this! She wasn't a sore loser when it came to fights verbal or physical but dammit she loved winning them more than anything!

"Lord Prussia..." She jutted her lip out in a oh so adorable pout, her eyes becoming big and shiny and her hands together in a begging position while batting her long eye lashes at him. "Tell Mr. Spain the truth and tell him that it was all your fault that this all happened...please?" She asked this in her sweetest voice looking as adorable as a lost kitten right about now all the while snickering to herself knowing that he would not be able to resist her cutness!

[Prussia]

Prussia neither said nor showed it, but part of him actually worried that Czech might listen to Spain's rant more than he did. He didn't want to lose his drinking competition buddy to Spain's little lecture. He'd preferred it, actually, if they could have somehow convinced Spain to join as well. Maybe go and find France while he was at it. It had been such a long time since the three did anything together...

Prussia quickly shook that thought away. No. He didn't care about that. Those two weren't really his 'friends' anyway. They just used to have common interests in the past. That... that was all.

"You're a liar!"

Prussia turned around, eyes wide at Czech's sudden outburst. It was loud enough to chase away any other thoughts Prussia might've had and just make him focus on the here and now. Czech walked up to him and got on her toes in an attempt to catch up the height difference the two had (hah, futile, she was such a shorty!). She looked truly angered. Huhh, come on, technically he didn't lie; if she hadn't been on her bunk when Prussia walked past, this wouldn't have happened. Her fault for being in the wrong place the wrong time!

Just then, Czech started to use the best weapon she had. Prussia knew the signs of it coming, and at the very first sight of her lower lip's movement, he turned to look away. He kept staring into Spain's face instead, doing his best to ignore the girl's pleads. Oh, he wouldn't fall for that one. Not this time!

"No can do," Prussia replied with a shake of his head, still keeping his eyes away from her. "'Cause it ain't a lie; this is all your fault. I couldn't help it, you dragged me into this!" It was then that Prussia thought up a countermeasure to her secret weapon. Why hadn't he thought of it before? If appearing cute was her special power, then what he needed to counter that was... to rile her up. She was so uncute when angry. Prussia grinned, fuck yeah, he was a genius alright!

"But well, I mean, if you're too scared to fight me..." Prussia began again soon, pretending to sound sympathetic. "Then I guess I understand you trying to slither away from this one. Well, can't help it then, after all, you are just a little shorty shrimp-" Prussia made sure to put emphasis on all of the last few words, still not looking her way. This oughta work.
