Canada quickly finished his food, although he usually didn't take long to eat. He picked up his plate and utencils and followed Norway into the kitchen. Smiling, Canada said "It was no trouble, I'm glad you liked it." He really was glad that Norway had enjoyed the food, it wasn't often that Canada got to cook for someone else. It made him feel useful.
"That's alright Norway, I can wash my own dishes." Canada didn't want to be a bother to anyone, he was perfectly capable of washing dishes by himself. Besides, he wasn't used to people doing things for him.

Quickly, the nordic took the Canadians plates and put them in the sink swiftly. "Its my thank you." Norway said as he started washing them. He really did want to wash the Canadian's dishes, he wanted to thank him in someway and he thought that it would be best if he just did something simple like this. When he finally finished with the dishes he quickly dried them and set them back to were they belonged. The older nation dried his hands on his torn up uniform and said proudly, "Done."

After Norway had finished washing and drying the dishes, Canada walked closer to Norway and held the older nations hand. It felt nice to feel Norway's warmth against his skin once again, fingers intertwined. Canada didn't want to let go anytime soon.
Canada glanced back into Norway's dark blue eyes, so beautiful. "Do you want to go fishing now?" Sure it wasn't the most romantic thing in the world, but anything to spend more time with Norway was fine with Canada. Besides, it wasn't like he despised fishing, and it was helping out the other nations. They did need more food anyway.

Norway smiled when the Canadian intertwined there fingers again. It made him feel warm inside....the older nordic country squeezed his hand around Canada's to make sure he was ok with holding hands. Well...of coarse he was! The canadian was the one who reached for his hand in the first place...but he wanted to make sure...he had never felt for someone like this before...The shorter man looked up to the taller man and studied his features as best he could. Soft purple eyes that looked at him so lovingly, soft hair that framed the other so perfectly, and his lips....Norway was almost positive that the Canadian's lips were just as soft...he stared at them for a while trying to figure out wheather he should see for himself if they were or not....or just....wait. Finally, without thinking probebly, the smaller nation used the hand that wasnt intertwined with the others hand to reach up and bring the others head closer and then kissed him gently on the mouth.
Yup...he was right, the taller man's mouth was just as soft as his hair and eyes...when Norway finally parted the kiss he said, "Sure...lets go....my fishing pole is by the door...lets go."

Canada stared back at Norway, mesmerized by his beautiful eyes. Some might say that they were dull, that they had no emotion, but they were wrong. You just had to look a little deeper, and it was all there. Norway's soft blonde hair was placed so perfectly against his head, not to mention that cute little curl of hair that stuck out from the rest. Canada couldn't help but smile in his presence.
Without warning, Norway reached up and kissed Canada on the lips. Surprised by the gesture, Canada pulled back for a moment. He had not been expecting a kiss so soon, although it was welcome. Canada pushed closer to the smaller nation, no longer afraid of who saw him. He closed his eyes, Canada could feel have soft and warm Norway's lips were.
Alas, all good things must come to an end, and Norway parted the kiss. Canada opened his eyes, blushing like a ripe tomatoe. "...o-ok, lets go." Canada had never kissed someone before, sure he had kissed his father good-night, but he had never had a real kiss. He touched his lips with the tips of his fingers, he would remember this moment for a long time.

Norway smiled as him and Canada walked to the door to grab the fishing rod and started to head out. When Norway grabbed the fishing rod and put it over his shoulder and then opened the door to the outside. The smell of rotting meat and flesh was hanging in the air, it was faint but it was still there. Norway's smile faded and he suddently remebered where they were and what they were doing. The smaller norweigen man looked as best as he could to make sure there were no zombies anywere near them and said, "Lets go! Hurry!" And he started walking fast to the river. He wanted to find some more fish as fast as he could. The more they were out here in the wilderness, the more likely they were going to be spotted by zombies...
When the two arrived to the river, Norway sighed happily that they didnt encounter any zombies. That was the very last thing they needed..."We're here." Norway said as he fixed up his fishing rod with one hand. He sat down on the ground while still holding Canada's hand firmly. "Sit down with me." Norway said looking up to the taller nation.

Canada hardly remembered that they were in the middle of a zombie infested country, he was too distracted by being around Norway. However, he soon remembered where he was when they walked out of the door. You could still faintly smell the rotting flesh from the undead. Canada hoped that they were downwind from the zombies, so that the smell was only being blown in their direction and the zombies weren't close.
Canada ran closely beside Norway, scared to be away from him for one second incase zombies did show up. He didn't have sufficiant fighting experiance to hold back a horde of zombies. The trees seemed less friendly then he last remembered them. It seemed like they wanted to grab him and lock him away forever in the dense underbrush. Luckily it didn't appear to be snowing, so they wouldn't have to worry about that obstacle.
They made it to the river safe enough, with no signs of zombies or any injuries. The river appeared to be a very fair size, surely they would soon be able to catch a sufficient amount of fish and leave. Canada didn't want to leave Norway's presence, but he certaintly didn't trust this forest, or the river for that matter. Canada gladly sat down next to Norway and tried to forget about the awful images poping into his mind of rampaging zombies.

Norway smiled and quickly threw the lure into the water and waited with the younger nation by the bank of the water. "Thank you for coming with me." Norway said as he stared at the water. He squeezed the Canadian's hand warmly and put his head on the taller one's shoulder and stayed there relaxing a bit. He hoped that no zombies interfiered with there quiet peace. He wanted to stay with the Canadian like this as long as possible. It felt like paradise to him, sitting like this while fishing in a river, Norway could even close his eyes and pretend that the zombies never existed...and everything was still fine...but that stentch was bringing him back to reality...

((oh zombie mod, where are you?))
Norway casted his line into the water, it sank below the surface of the murky water. Hopefully, the line would tug soon, meaning that there was something on the other end. Meanwhile, Canada was content with just sitting by the water's edge with Norway.
"I wanted to come with you." replied Canada, he loved just being around Norway, it made him feel safe. However, the forest was still making him nervous. He hoped that the zombies wouldn't notice them, and they could safely fish in peace. Norway put his head on Canada's shoulder and he smiled. He wished this moment would last forever, with no distractions, save the occasional fish biting.
Canada could almost imagine the old world, with no threat of zombies. Of course the stench of the forest stopped his dream all too soon. Was the smell of rotting flesh getting stronger? No, that must be his imagination. Still, Canada eyed the surrounding area cautiously, looking along the bank and edge of the forest. Nothing would take this moment away, nothing.

((WE MUST FIND HIM...er...HER?...ZOMBIE MOD COME BACK!))
As the two countries waited for the fish to bite, one finally did. The rod started to freak out. Quickly, Norway grabbed the line and pulled. The fish put up a fight but eventually Norway got it to land with one hand since he still refused to let go of the Canadian's hand. It was a pretty big sized fish, big enough to last a few days definetly. "One more should do." Norway said as he threw back the lure to the fishing rod. Sighing, the nordic put his head back on Canada's shoulder. It was a comfortable shoulder, Norway would admit that. It was warm and it made him feel more at ease.

((how can you reel in a fishing pole with one hand? I can try to PM the zombie mod if you want.))
Finally, a fish started to bite. In the moments after that, Canada had all but forgotten the zombie filled forest around them. After struggling for a few minutes, Norway was able to reel in the fish. It looked to be a sort of mutant bass mixed with trout, it was a rather large fish, maybe 13 or 14 pounds. It flopped around on the bank for a few minutes before finally stopping. It wasn't dead yet, no it could survive for much longer than that, but it had simply stopped moving.
They only needed to catch one more fish, then they could leave the zombie ridden forest behind them. Or at least for a while. Norway placed his head back onto Canada's shoulder. He was quite comfortable with the older nation resting on his shoulder. He loved the way the breeze flowed through Norway's hair.

(its easy! Ive done it once!! Hold it with your leg and or foot and reel in!....my sisters husband taught me~)
As the nordic kept his head on the taller nations shoulder he was thinking. But the only thing that went through his mind was the kiss that he had shared with the Canadian. It still tingled on his lips. Canada's lips were so soft...Norway closed his eyes and touched his mouth. But he did feel bad that he did it so suddenly...What if he did it to early? What if he kissed wrong? He never kissed anyone before...what if he made a fool of himself?!"Canada..." The older country started saying. "Im sorry for kissing you so suddenly a while ago."

After Norway mentioned the kiss, Canada suddenly froze. He still wasn't ready to admit to his feelings just yet. Relaxing again, Canada replied "It's ok, don't worry about it. It was nice..." He started to smile, and blush a slightly. Canada had remembered every second of their kiss. He remember the warmth of Norway's lips, and his steady hand in Canada's hair. True, it was a just light peck, not very g at all, but it none the less seemed very passionate to Canada. He touched the tips of his fingers to his lips, yes, Canada had enjoyed their kiss. However, in Canada's mind it was a forbidden love, wouldn't the other countries frown apon their actions?

"Alright." Norway said as he watched the water shimmer and shine. He quietly smiled at this moment and wanted to stay like this as long as he could..."Would you ever want to do that again?" Norway asked quietly. He was sure he wanted to, but he wanted to ask first...he didnt mind of the younger nation didnt but...but it didnt hurt to ask. But before the other nation could reply, Norway felt the fishing rod tug. The nordic country tried tugging at it using one hand but it was it heavy. He didnt want to let go of Canada's hand but it was for there food so he did. The older country tugged at it and tugged at it but it didnt budge, finally. Something came up from the water...it wasnt a fish. A loud moan came from the water as he saw a body rise up from the dephs. Norway's eyes widened as he jumped back. He grabbed Canada's hand and helled it tightly...he had never been this close to a zombie....not since he escaped from his country...he was paralyzed in fear......

Did Canada want to kiss Norway? Of course he did, but could he say that out loud? He felt like he could tell anything to Norway, so Canada opened his mouth to reply. However, the forest had other plans.
Before Canada could answer, The fishing rod violently jerked downward. It seemed that another fish was on the line, and a big one at that. Norway even had to use two hands this time to reel it in. Maybe now they could leave this awful forest. However, what was on the other end of the line was certainly not a fish. A green, mutilated, zombie rose from the watery depths of the murky water. It had shoulder lenght hair brown hair that were in huge matted clumps on top of her head, making Canada to believe that it had once been a beautiful lady. Now, her skin was a sickly pale, her brown eyes dulled to the point that they barely looked brown any longer. Bumps covered her face, looking much like pock marks, jagged scars ran along her cheeks and arms.
Without thinking and a rush of adrenaline, Canada pulled Norway closer to his body, tightly grasping the older nation's hand. With his free hand, Canada hanked out a pistol from the holster at his side. It had been carefully hidden at his side in case of an emergency. The gun went off and launched a bullet, time slowed as the tiny missile made it's journey from the gun, to the zombie's head. It just barely hit the target. The small projectile connected with the gruesome monster's head, sinking deep into it's scull. It made a jagged hole into the side of the zombie's head, and an unknown liquid followed by what looked like grey sludge, came oozing out of the gap.
Canada's hand was shaking from the images before him, so much that he released the gun, luckily it didn't go off. He stood there, paralyzed from the experiance, just staring at the river as the zombie fell backwards into the dark water. Swirls of red and green surrounded the scene of the death. The colours flowed downstream, leaving nothing behind.
Canada had killed someone, he had actually ended a life. He had never resorted to violence before, and yet now there was a body floating down the stream as living proof, or rather dead proof. He couldn't help but shed a tear, that could have well been one of his citizens. Canada knew that they must leave quickly, the gun shot could have alerted other nearby zombies, but his feet betrayed him amd wouldn't move.
