There was one thing in Nature that Airini disliked almost as much as wildfires... And that was cold rain or snow. Yes, rain and snow were a required part of the weather- but why did it have to be so fucking cold. She was lucky it was the light stuff too, she could at least see where she was going as she found the base and came in. Sheathing her hidden sword so that it appeared as a cane again.
She'd gotten a scrape on her wrist, too. As evidenced by the drops of blood dripping from there. "Who's the medic? I got a scrape fighting that zombie that attacked me on the way in... Kia Ora, everyone." She tried to remained cheerful. Despite how tired she was.

Czech Republic looked up suddenly from her knitting when she heard a new voice reach her sharp ears. Her eyes trailed up and no sooner found that their was a newcomer.
Two emotions hit Czech...the first was joy for the nation who managed to get to the base somewhat unharmed by the Zombies. The second was terror as she turned her eyes away quickly and began to knit furiously. Czech was a very shy young lady who could not stand to be near new people for very long for fear of rejection for her quirkness. Now seeing this newcomer and having no idea as to who they were was enough to spook her.
She glanced around the room looking for someone to great them instead of her yet did not see another soul. Just her luck. Pushing her bangs from her eyes she gave an exasperated sigh...here goes nothing.
She stood up, smoothed her skirt out, set the knitting down and slowly approached the new Nation like one would approach a stray dog; with great caution. She masked her nervousness with a very sweet and polite smile. "A--Ahoj!" She said politely as she took her place an arms length where she intended to stay for the time being. "We--welcome to homebase..."

((You'll need some vaccine too for that scrape ^^ I'll just have Japan sort of pop in a little here and there as one of the resident gee--scientists XD))
Japan had been on his way back to the lab, a steaming cup of tea in his hand. He had been pouring over their research documents, hoping to perhaps locate some crucial piece of information that they had missed. The scientist job had changed hands a few jobs, with nations coming and leaving the warehouse to answer the summons of their nations. Japan did not mind this, but he did dread being summoned back by his own home. As much as he would want to be with his people should some national emergency demand it, he feared leaving his fellow nations without his experience. The new scientists were catching on quickly though, so he knew his concerns were only temporary.
He made his way out of the kitchen, in time to see Czech greeting someone. He paused, trying to identify the nation from the small hallways hiding the kitchen from view. Had he seen this nation before? Ah, yes...New Zealand. He did not interact with the other nation often...but it was always a relief to know another nation had made it safely to the Warehouse. Taking a deep breath, he exited the hallway, making his way across the Common Room. He did intend to greet New Zealand, but he did also have to make his visiting short. The lab work demanded his attention at the moment, and he did not want to stop for too long when he felt he was so close to finding something useful.
Still, politeness dictated he greet the new nation. He stopped a little ways away from Czech, still in New Zealand's line of vision. He waited politely until he was certain Czech was not going to continue with her speaking before speaking himself. "Konnichiwa and welcome..." It was then he observed the small scratch on New Zealand's arm, and his eyes widened a fraction with concern. "I...ah, am sorry that I cannot stay to properly greet you, but I must return to the lab. If you are hurt, you should see the medic as soon as possible..." He did not mention needing to make the vaccine, in case her scrape was merely a stray tree limb or from a rock. "We are lucky to have a vaccine that we are able to make for the infected, but it does take a little time to make. If you are in need of it, the medic will inform me and I will start work on it right away." He did not mean to sound so clinical, especially to a new nation. But if the scratch truly was from a zombie, he needed to begin work on the vaccine as quickly as possible.

"Are you kidding, the bloody beaut got me right as I finished it off. Nice to see you again Japan. How you been doing, mate?" And of course she was using beaut ironically, as was a habit of hers. Sarcasm and sass just came to her naturally. "... And you're a heck of a dag, nice to meet you." She continued in her fast, heavily accented voice as she turned to Czech. Dag meant interesting person. "I'm New Zealand. But you can also call me Airini... Who're you." She decided to put her Cane against the nearby wall for now, not really sure what else to do with it. "Oh and who're the medics around here."

At the arrival of Japan, Czech felt relieved to say the least thinking she'd have someone with her to help her overcome her boundary issues...but as fate would have it Japan had to leave, leaving her there with a look that said 'help me'. She was about to scamper after him hoping to get away in hopes of avoiding anymore unecessay contact but it seemed like the new nation noticed her after all. Perfect.
She kept her polite smile nodding her head at her in respects towards the fellow female nation. Oh Czech didn't need to just look at New Zealand to know she was a woman...all women gave off natural scents of pheramones that were all feminine. That's just how good her old nose was and hence why she was a scout.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Airini...I am Czech Republic...all known as Julka Schneider but you may call me Miss Schneider." It wasn't that she was trying to be stuffy or anything...in Czech's nation everyone who were strangers to one another referred to them selves as Miss, Mister and or Mrs until they become closer friends. It was just her way.

"You could tell?" The 4'8" Androgynous female was pleasantly surprised. She was used to being mistaken for a guy. She could tell she and Czech would probably get along well, once they got used to each other. Until then though, Airini would probably stick more around the people she knew. She simply had the habit of trusting only those she knew. Now where was a doctor. "... Miss Schneider, who are the medics." She at least wanted to be given good care while Japan worked on the vaccine. She had no clue how long it would take the symptoms to set in after all, as she looked around for the others.

Czech then turned her eyes onto the scrape and instantly her uncertainty and fear of rejection had subsided to be replaced with her motherly instincts. Without any such warning she had grabbed Airini's arm and observed the scrape in silence. Her face clear with concern.
Her small dainty yet very much callosed fingers ran over the scrape muttering quietly in her native tongue then looked up. She swallowed a lump in hr throat figuring that she might as well try to not be so shy.
"I--uh..." She looked away suddenly while blushing a deep shade of red refusin to look at the nation before her. "I have some disenfectant by my bunk! If you'd like I could take care of it for you!" Czech didn't know she was raising her voice a little too much but it could not be helped seeing how it took all of her courage just to do so.

"... Are you supposed to be one of the Medics? I'd rather trust someone I know can do their job well." She couldn't help but distrust. It was hard to earn it, unfortunately. And so she went looking for someone who knew what they were doing regarding medicine. After all, this was serious. It'd been caused by one of the Zombies and needed immediate, experienced treatment as soon as possible. "... Not that I dislike you. I'm sure if you do a different job you do it well."

Czech felt slightly insulted and the hurt puppy dogs eyes told it all too well. But after looking at her quietly he observan eyes came to a sudden conclusion. "It was caused by the Zombies right?" Some thought it strange how she could tell what others were thinking...some thought it because she was observant and others thought it to be deep empathy.
"Come." She walked past Airini and started to walk fast in a marching tempo keeping her head held high but avoiding eye contact with the newcomer the feeling of insult still fresh and just needed to hold a small grudge for just a few minutes before she'd fully forgive her. "I'll take you to the medics."

Egypt woke up from his midday nap. Stretching, the Mediterranean nation got up and slipped on his slippers. Sensitive ears caught snippets of a conversation many yards away in the commons room between Czech Republic and a new arrival. Words like 'fight' and 'just a scratch' reached Egypt's ears and he knew that his particular expertise was needed as a Medic. Grabbing his medics pack and staff, Egypt made his way to where Czech Republic was. Quiet like a ghost, Egypt made his way into the commons room. What he first saw was Japan and Czech Republic talking, upon drawing closer still, Egypt saw the new arrival. He immediately recognized New Zealand. Clearing his throat softly he joined the conversation just as they started to walk towards the medic ward.
"That's won't be necessary Miss Czech. I thought I heard a new voice." Spying the scratch in question Gupta went into action, quietly beckoning to New Zealand to come closer. "I've got my med pack on me and I can treat your scratch right here."

"Oh. Perfect timing..." New Zealand quietly wondered to herself why whenever she caught a glance of him, he always seemed to have the perfect timing. Regardless, she was happy about it... Even if she didn't recognize him right away. It took a second or two for it to sink in who this was, and once she realized oh did her body language show it as she came closer. It wasn't a big scratch... But it was still somewhat deep. As if a sharp nail had been jabbed into her wrist. The cause was most definitely a zombie... And it looked as if it'd happened roughly half an hour ago.
"... I dunno what symptoms set in when. But... At least I'll have medical attention."

"You definitely will need to get a small dose of the vaccine for safeties sake." Egypt worked quickly on cleaning and dressing the scratch on New Zealand's wrist. " but this scratch is not what I am concerned about. You said you had symptoms? What can you feel has changed? Finishing dressing the scratch, Egypt straightened and pulled a small flashlight from his pocket. "Open you eyes wide for me please?" As he shown the light into New Zealand's eyes quickly, he asked a few more questions. "Do you have a headache? Feeling nauseous or parched? This is very important, New Zealand."

She opened her eyes wide as she could. "Some slight nausea, but that's about it." She muttered, clearly feeling pain now as a headache came. "... Owwww." She realized how bad this was, and it worried her now. Hard as she tried to remain calm... Part of her knew if she did not receive the Vaccine soon, she'd become one of them. And that was a thought she simply could not stand. Being forced to become that monster, lose all sanity and attack her very friends. She would not let it happen.

Turning off the light, Egypt placed it back into his pocket, then went back to his med pack. Pulling a small bottle of Lavender extract from his pack Egypt opened it and held it out to New Zealand, just under the nation's nose. "Breathe in please; this will help calm your nerves and your head." Egypt needed to act quickly because time was not on his side, so after handing off the lavender extract he began to pack up his supplies. "تشيكي, (Czech) اليابان (Japan), we much work quickly. Japan, do you have a dose of the vaccine prepared in your lab? It is imperative we administer a dose soon, with in the hour preferably."

((My sincerest apologies for the delay in posting back guys. I'll write a bit for Japan to catch up, but by the end of the post he'll answer your question, Egypt ^^ Oh, and feel free to prod me via PM or e-mail or other forms of communication if I'm to respond and not doing so XD Also, a small recap on the vaccine and vaccine-making process))
Japan bowed again to New Zealand, hiding a wry smile. Nowadays, that question seemed to be a loaded one, with the only fitting answer being 'surviving'. However, he did not want to be impolite, so he merely straightened and gave the other nation a small smile. He was exhausted from his hours in the lab, and part of him considered asking England for a switch in duties simply so he would not have to stare at papers all day. But the warehouse seemed to always be in need of scientists, and so he dutifully returned to the lab each day to see if he could figure anything else out that would assist their cause. Unfortunately, progress seemed to have slowed to a crawl in recent weeks.
He listened quietly as the other nation mentioned the scratch to Czech. From the sound of things, it didn't seem serious, but he would only trust what the medic ultimately dictated. He was certain he had seen one...ah! And a if by thinking him present, Egypt arrived and began speaking with the other two. He decided then that it would be a good time for him to depart. He would need to return to the lab, but first, he would make himself another cup of tea. It would keep him awake, and give Egypt some time to examine the injury without being interrupted. Excusing himself noiselessly, he turned and headed into the kitchen.
The tea felt good, as it always did. He sipped the cup, having filled it just a little too full as hi thoughts wandered. He waited a minute, then decided to return to the lab. Egypt would have probably finished examining the scratch by then, and if he needed the vaccine, Japan would have to make one. The vaccine took up precious supplies, and though he would have loved to have some handy at all times, the vaccine did not exactly keep for long. For this reason, it was important for any injured nations to seek the medics immediately, in case they needed to be vaccinated. The process took a few hours, with most of the time being consumed by the making of the vaccine.
He exited the kitchen, tea in hand, and almost ran into Egypt as the nation entered the Common Room. "Egypt-san, I will need to prepare a dosage. It does not keep long enough, and it uses resources to make dosages that we do not ultimately use. And it will take two hours. Is there any medication that can be given in the meantime, such as painkillers? I am afraid I am not as familiar with the medical proceedings, other than perhaps the understanding of how to administer the vaccine in an emergency situation." He explained to Egypt very calmly, speaking quickly enough to exchange the necessary information, but also so the medic nation knew he would return to the lab and begin work immediately. "I will prepare the vaccine as quickly as possible, Egypt-san."
Normally, he did not leave another nation in the middle of a conversation. But he was certain that Egypt would understand he was simply doing so in order to prepare the vaccine quickly. Bowing apologetically and quickly (and careful not to spill his tea), he strode off purposefully towards the lab, starting on the vaccine. The initial mixing did not take long, but the waiting time was almost brutally slow in comparison. He sighed, sitting back and watching, sipping his tea quietly. He would remain in the lab until the dosage was complete.
