Arrogant.....very very arrogant. Norway thought to himself as he took America's extended hand so he could stand up. Norway rubbed his sore muscles and said, "You just got lucky. One win isnt that much. Besides, Im not the greatest swordsman out there. That would probebly be England." He said after thinking for a little while. "But anyways, now that, thats over. Is there anything else you want to work on?"

America scoffed. "They always say I just get lucky whenever I win. But, c'mon, man- I win so much that it's obviously not luck. It's skill." He cracked his knuckles, sighing happily. Winning sure is easy for me, he told himself, promptly pushing aside the fact that it really had taken a lot for him just to hold Norway down. He didn't want to be reminded of his embarrassments. No, he won and he was going to soak in his triumph like any nation would do! Especially him. 'Cause he sorta won constantly.
"England's an old man," he retorted, tossing his wooden sword to the side while still remembering to be careful. It was difficult controlling his strength all the time and he didn't want to break anything. "I can beat him in a fight any day. Especially with hand-to-hand combat. Or guns." Suddenly wanting to show off his heroic skills in both those areas, another grin came to the young nation's face. "Want me to teach you anything?"

Norway sighed. This guy wasnt just arrogant...very was majorly arrogant. God he wished he was Denmark so he could just smack the guy in the face. Norway rubbed his temples in annoyance and tried to calm himself down. 'Dont kill the guy....Dont kill the guy' Norway kept repeating in his mind like a mantra. He could get through this! It would take lots and lots of will power but he was willing to get through it. "Good luck with trying to beat England though." he said to the American. "You seriously havent battled him with swords havent you?"
But Norway shook his head and said, "Anyways, yes and no. A-are you that good with hand to hand combat? I mean...its been a while...and I am rusty with that."

America shrugged, shifting just a tad bit uncomfortably. "I mean...I don't have to battle him with swords to know I can beat him. It's just a given, ya know?" He had only ever faced England with guns and even that proved to be a challenge at the time. Granted, England had been the strongest nation in the world and America was a mere colony- or, rather ex-colony at the time- so it made perfect sense that he would have struggled slightly.
"But, I really am good with hand-to-hand combat! I can beat anyone!" Quickly trying to brush off his previous discomfort with the topic of sword-fighting England, America straightened up and shot a smile to Norway. "I can teach ya, if you want. You'll be learning from the best and, pretty soon, you'll be able to beat up those crazy neighbors of yours. Like..." And his mind drew a blank. He honestly had no clue who Norway's neighbors were. Wasn't Lithuania one? "Like them," he quickly recovered, nodding intelligently.

"Fine, then will you help me?" Norway asked with difficulty. He had a hard time to let go of the neighbos thing and for the record whenever Norway went into battle with anyone of them, he would pretty much always win...as long as Denmark wasnt trying to 'help'him that is. He also noticed America's discomfort with the sword fighting thing with England and he decided against bringing that up. He knew that there was somethings that nations just didnt like talking about.

"For sure!" America happily exclaimed. He was about to start jumping up and down for joy and excitement (he had never been a teacher to another country before, and he thought it would be really sweet to leave his mark in such an astounding way), then remembered that Norway would probably pay better attention to him if he was cool and calm and collected. Right. Chill. America quickly just sent a smile over to Norway. "The hero would be pleased to lend his...er, assistance." That worked.
Taking a few steps closer to Norway, America began stretching out his arms, getting ready for all this. "Strength has a lot to do with hand-to-hand combat. It's not really something you can attain overnight. However..." He gave an easy grin. "You're small enough that speed and flexibility will be on your side. That's good, especially against enemies larger than you and enemies who rely heavily on muscle alone."

Norway sighed and quietly thanked the higher being that America was being calm about teaching a older nation things. He wasn't to sure if he could have handeled a hyper teacher. He nodded as he lisened to America's little speech about streangth. He didnt have much of that, but speed and flexibility was something that he did have. "Ok, I have a little experence with fighting with oponents." Norway said showing no emotion as usual.

America nodded, not quite sure what exactly to say next. Teaching others how to fight was already proving to be a little more difficult than he originally thought. He remembered his lessons when he was just a mere colony, his lessons when he was breaking away from England, and...but those were all having to do with guns and battle tactics, not fist-fighting or something. He scratched his head, trying to recall how exactly he taught himself.
"Alright, well..." He cleared his throat, wondering where to start. "Ah, how 'bout you just try whatever you got on me. Once you mess up, I can point you in the right direction." He smirked, already knowing that Norway would mess up. Not that he didn't trust the smaller nation's fighting abilities, he just knew he was already so much stronger.

Norway nodded. He looked at America and tried to find a good way to attack the younger oponent. Since he already knew that America was tons stronger then him he would have to avoid his arms, and since he was taller as well, he would have to aim for lower spots like the abdomen and waist rather then the torso areas. Norway finally decided to aim for America's side and try to find a blind spot. So he ran foward and lunged.

To say America was caught by surprise would have been absolutely correct. He would have thought that Norway would have given him some sort of warning at least, a little, "Here I come!" or whatnot. Of course, he realized he shouldn't have expected as much, considering in real battles, the enemy never gave any sort of heads up. So, yes, Norway did manage to get him that once, and America was astounded at how quick the smaller nation really was.
Getting over his sudden shock, America grabbed Norway and threw him backwards, relying on all of his strength for that. Of course, he didn't realize he actually used all his strength until he realized he flung Norway a little too far back. "Shit, I'm sorry!" he exclaimed, running up to the man. "Uh...geez, I don't really control my strength sometimes, so...I'm sorry! Are you okay?" He bent down, biting his lip a little bit out of concern. "I mean, that was good, you could have easily knocked someone like...like a neighbor of yours over with it or something, I just kinda...threw you back more than I meant to."

Norway didnt really know what was going on. One minute he was charging America then he was flying towards the wall and he landed with a thud. His spine tingled and he felt every bone in his body shiver in pain. He shut his eyes and clenched his teeth. He was pretty happy that America was never his enemy in any war, he wasnt sure if he could handle that pain. Next thing he knew America was over him and it looked like he was apoligizing but he wasnt sure because he heard a ringing in his ears and he thought he tasted blood in his mouth.
"Ah...I-I'm fine." Norway choked out as he tried standing up but falling straight back on his butt. It just seemed that his body wasnt lisening to him at all.

America cursed again, his worry growing by the minute. He really should have thought things through before simply pushing Norway off of him. He should have controlled all that strength and everything would have been fine. Quickly bending down to Norway's level, America swallowed nervously, wondering what on earth he could do now. "I-Is anything broken?" he asked hurriedly. "Do you need to go to the medic? I'll take you to the medic, just to be safe. Can you see properly? You might have a concussion. Oh, god, I hope you don't have a concussion. Are you bleeding anywhere? How many fingers am I holding up?" And, as if his questions weren't ridiculous enough, America held up five fingers.
Of course, he realized that perhaps he was crowding the older nation. Maybe he needed some room to breathe. "Am I annoying you?" he asked, bringing his hand down and giving a humorless chuckle. "Ah...you want me to carry you to a medic or something?" He didn't know how much he had hurt Norway, but he figured he'd better be safe than sorry.

Norway tried shaking off the weird feeling he had and stood up on his two feet. "Im fine....just a little disorented." Norway said to the minorly annoying country. "J-just give me a little bit to...rest." he sighed and put his head on the wall trying to regain control of his body and making it stop shaking.

America couldn't have been more relieved at that point that Norway was a nation, not a human. If he had been a human, he would probably be a lot more wounded than he currently was. Still, that didn't shake off the worry and guilt America was feeling. "Okay. Right. A few minutes of rest. That should be helpful! I'll be here if you need anything, you know." Even while he was feeling guilty, he also couldn't help but feel a tad bit scared. Norway was friends with a lot of other nations, namely Denmark and Sweden. What if one of them came after him? And, since Norway was European, what if the entirety of Europe came after him?
"Hey, uh...you mind keeping this all to ourselves?" he asked with a shaky smile. "I mean, the others already know how strong I am, but I..." Okay, quick, excuse... "I just don't want them being too scared of me, ya know? Like all the weirdo eastern Europeans are with Russia. Nah, I want them to look up to me as the hero, and I can't be the hero if word of this gets out, right?" He stood next to Norway, patting his back in what he hoped to be a comforting move. "Anyway, you'll be cool." He hoped.

The American's rambeling wasnt helping him at the moment at all. He lifted his hand and covered America's mouth and said, "Just shut up for a second...please. I wont talk about it to anyone, and ill make sure they wont be 'scared' of you and your stupid strength." He didnt want to move his hand for fear of America's rambeling. Norway layed his head on the wall and tried to calm his body down from the pain.
