It seemed that once America felt his mouth covered, he had about a million different things he needed to say at once- how he promised to be silent, how he really, really wasn't scared of Denmark or Sweden (well, maybe a bit, due to the fact that, if they wanted to wage war on him after this whole mess was over, they'd probably win, due to his lack of resources and an army), how he was so sorry he did this, how he never could control his strength, how he hoped Norway would feel better, and so on.
Of course, he couldn't, what with Norway's hand in the way and everything. And his voice. He really seemed upset for some reason. Some reason, idiot. You nearly killed the poor guy! He blinked. ...Okay, maybe not 'killed', exactly, but...geez... "Imfekitefumomeyoham," he said, his voice coming out a lot more incoherent and garbled against Norway's hand.

Norway looked over to the American who made this weird sound under him hand. After sighing, he moved his hand away from America's mouth and asked in somewhat of an irritated voice, "What?" He was partially annoyed with the man because he was thrown on a wall and hurt and he wouldnt stop talking, but maybe the guy had something important to say.

Once Norway's hand was removed, America grinned widely, pleased that Norway seemed okay enough to be irritated. That was something he had learned while dealing with England- if the man was irritated enough, he was okay. Considering Norway was fairly calm and whatnot, America figured the annoyance was a good thing. "Oh, I was just gonna tell you that if you moved your hand, I'd still be silent! Well, I mean, I'd start being silent. 'Cause I wasn't being silent at first, right, so...I'm just gonna be quiet for now and let you heal, even if I don't think silence heals anything. Unless it's with that saying 'silence is golden', and..." He trailed off, not quite sure where he was going with this. "Yeah. That's it."
Quickly smiling once more, America mimed zipping his mouth shut, then leaned back and looked around. Hopefully his silence would somehow help and Norway would get better and they could start practicing again.

Norway sighed in relief when the American stopped talking. His headache stopped hurting and stopped poudning to. "Thank you America." Norway said smiling a bit. He sat down and closed his eyes and tried to relax. He started rubbing his temples and sighed again, his spine stopped hurting which was really good.

Without thinking, America said, "No problem!" Of course, after a few seconds, he groaned. "Sorry. That was like an automatic response." It was a lot more difficult to keep quiet than he originally thought it would be. But, if Norway wished for him to be silent, then he was going to do the heroic thing and shut his mouth. No talking would come out of him, nope, not at all!
He couldn't stop the humming though. He had sat down next to Norway, leaning his head against the wall and staring around the training grounds, looking at the scuffle marks across the ground. And, since he never really could keep quiet, he began humming his national anthem, a soft smile coming to his face as he heard the familiar tune come from his mouth.

Norway started calming down and he felt his temper calm down...at least until America started humming. He frowned and his eyebrows went together. He tried to ignoring it but it didnt really work. He growled and without opening his eyes, he reached out a hand and placed it somewere America's face. He started moving it around the American's face and head trying to avoid America's hairline where his Nantucket was. That would have been weird if he did..."Where the heck is the off button on you?" Norway asked annoyed and still moving his hand over America's face.

"Uh..." It was a bit of an awkward situation for America to be in. Other than their little duel, America hadn't come into contact with Norway that often. He batted the hand away, laughing at the elder nation's question. "Sorry! I just...kinda hum when I'm bored, I guess. Does it bother you?" He didn't realize how stupid of a question it was until he saw the irritation on Norway's face. Well, duh, of course it bothered him.
"I really will be quiet this time!" America promised, patting Norway's hand. "'Cept, when will you be all better? I mean, I understand if you don't want to train anymore, but...just wondering." He stared at Norway, waiting for whatever answer was to come his way.

Norway pulled his hand away from America's grip and placed in next to him. "Well...we mind as well finish the training." Norway said as he stood up. Happily he didnt waver when he did this, he brushed his blond hair back and fixed the little blue hat that suprisingly stayed on his head this entire time. He offered a hand to America and then said, "Come on."

Happily accepting Norway's help, America grasped his hand and got to his feet, brushing the dirt and dust off from his clothes. "Glad I didn't hurt you too bad," he exclaimed cheerfully, taking a position across from Norway. He wasn't sure what to do next. Would the European feel safe fighting him anymore? Just to be sure, America gave a sheepish smile. "I, uh...I promise to keep my strength in check. That was stupid of me."
Just to lighten the mood even more, America chuckled, then decided to get back down to business. "If I was another country, a weaker country-" Like all of them, he inwardly though, a smirk coming to his face. "-that might have knocked me over. Your move on me, I mean. However, always remember to aim for the throat when in doubt. Most of the time, your opponent will be guarding his face, though, so you gotta take focus away from that area, make him guard somewhere else."

Norway sighed. Without thinking he rushed to America and hit him in the stomach with his fist hard. Very hard. For some reason he felt like he needed to do that. This was kinda like how Norway treated Denmark. The smaller blonde nation moved back and bit and sighed, "Sorry, but something inside me just snapped and screamed at me to do that." Inside Norway's mind he was smiling at what he did.

America quickly came to the conclusion that Norway was a really unpredictable guy. Especially when he suddenly showed that he had a lot more strength than it originally looked like. It didn't knock America off his feet, that punch, but he sure was doubling over, gasping at both the shock and the loss of breath. And then there was that arrogance. Geez, and people told America he was bad! Nope, he had been on his best behavior today (minus the whole throwing-Norway-into-a-wall, that was stupid on his part), and this is how Norway repays him?
"L-Like that," he wheezed, struggling to straighten back up again. "See, you gotta catch 'em off guard!" Except that would mean that he, America, wasn't paying attention. Which would mean he wasn't even living up to his own rules. Which would be totally idiotic of him to admit. "But I just kinda let you do that. I was trying to prove a point." He finally managed to catch his breath and act normal again, wishing to put that embarrassing spectacle behind them both.

Norway sighed, this guy was still aggrivating him but he wanted to look past that really badly. They werent gonna be a good team if they were fighting all the time. "Yeah...sure. Ok." Norway said not showing any emotion. He just decided that it would be best not to agrue or point out anything anymore with the American. It wouldnt end well. They both had to much pride and were really arrogant.

If they were going to put it past them, America wasn't going to complain. Besides, though Norway wasn't showing much emotion, he seemed fairly irritated. As if America couldn't tell by the sudden punch. Wanting to put their differences (or was it similarities that was making them argue?) aside, America said, "But, I mean, I think you'll be really good out on the battlefield. I didn't know you could punch like that! See, your enemy will be fooled into thinking you'll be a pushover, like I did!"
Of course, he pretty much admitted that he hadn't expected much out of Norway but, hey, he should be truthful, right? Giving a nervous laugh, America quickly said, "If you wanna continue, that's cool. Um...but I still think you're already pretty good. I thought you didn't know much about this stuff. Unless you just got lucky. Which is still okay, you should just get lucky a lot if you wanna win!"

'Dont kill the kid....dont kill him like you almost killed Denmark when he put you in that dress...' Norway thought to himself when he heard that America had underestimated him. He felt a pulse beating on his forehead. He sighed and calmed himself down quickly. "Lets just continue ok? More practice is better then almost none." he said to the young American in an irritated voice.

"All right!" America didn't miss more of the irritation in Norway's voice and he was instantly left feeling a bit anxious. He knew he'd have to watch what he said. Of course, he wasn't even sure what he said the other times that made Norway angry, but it must have been something, right? Norway was too laid-back to just get upset about nothing. "So, is there anything else you wanna work on? You already got the strength down."
Dodging was something he knew Norway would be able to do. The nation was small and quick, so dodging should come as an easy ability to him. Of course, it was never too bad to just practice something. "Wanna work on your dodging skills?"
