"Well, thats good then. And fluke or not, it was very good." Lithuania shot again. And still hit a similar place.
Practise makes perfect after all. "I doubt I'll ever be good with guns." And hopefully he wouldn't have to use one.
Lithuania glanced over to the mumbling Nation. "Pardon?"

"Hmm, did I say something?" Then it hit him. Flustered by the fact that he had articulated his thoughts, he tried to cover it up at first, but then hesitated.
"Lithuania...have you, have you ever felt that nobody ever notices you, or that everybody tries to take advantage of you?"

((Lol XD))
Lithuania nodded to his first statement. Then paused to consider the second.
"...I guess...sometimes I really do feel like I'm just being taken advantage of...especially by Rusija...and ok...Poland ignores my opinions on everything most of the time...though I don't really hate him for that. Do you feel ignored and stepped on?" He let his hands fall to his sides, gun practise forgotten.

He listened to the brown-haired country's admission with eager ears, knowing that he couldn't be the only one who sometimes felt frustrated with how others treated him.
"Yeah, yeah, I do. Lots of times. I usually need to try really hard for people to even notice me, mostly I just leave it and don't even try. You know what's worse? Being confused with my brother! Always, always, always! Then I get blamed for the problems he caused!" Breathing heavily, he hit the ground with the barrel of his gun, lost on a rave roll.
"You're lucky, Lithuania. At least people bully you because they know who you are." He eyed him sternly.

Lithuania looked at the other nation sadly. "That must really suck...especially being blamed for things you haven't done..." I know I would hate it...
His next sentence threw Lithuania into somewhat of a turmoil. "I don't know...Sometimes...Sometimes I think it would be better to be invisible...then to have Russia..." Unknowingly his free hand reached over his shoulder and clasped it, his mind dwelling on things long past.
"But...I guess we all have things troubling us...Right?"

Canada blinked at the other. True, he hadn't considered the fact that Lithuania had had to deal with Russia every day one point in time. That kind of experience would surely make Canada grateful for his invisibility; he recalled once that the big nation had actually sat on him once, and had been entirely oblivious to his protests.
"Yeah...I suppose we've all got skeletons in our closets and corpses in our courtyard. Doesn't mean that we should let them bother us too much, though." He shook his head as if to clear away his brief anger. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly, and blushed. "Sorry about that outburst there, and sorry if I, um, offended you. That...doesn't usually happen..."

"No, it's fine. I guess it really depends who is around you...I mean Poland treats everyone like they're invisible, unless he needs something." Lithuania paused to laugh slightly. "But Russia...Russia will notice anything if he thinks he can get it..." Lithuania's gaze narrowed.
"But yes. Canada you're right, we should try to move on..." He thought of something that happened recently. "I mean look at Prussia and I...we managed to have a conversation!"
If only all things could be sorted that easily

"Really? Wow, that's great, man!" Canada could remember that way back when he was still a tiny kid, Prussia and Lithuania didn't get along at all, with that drama in Eastern Europe about religion and such. "No really, that's pretty cool, how you guys could settle things in the past. Lucky, yeah?" He gave the other a glowing, sincere smile, truly happy for his new acquaintance.
Blowing out a puff of air, he hefted his rifle back to eye-level, remembering why exactly he came to the shooting range in the first place. As he adjusted the gun to match a target, he asked, "Out of curiosity, if you were an empire...what would you do?"

"It was a bit awkward at first, I didn't know how to forgive him, or if he had forgotten...it was a long time ago..." Lithuania raised his arm again and took another shot, this one tantalisingly close to the centre of the target.
He returned the grin that Canada had given him with one of his own shy smiles.
"...I don't...I'm not sure. When Poland and I were a commonwealth we were technically the largest empire in Europe. WOuldn't think it to look at us now huh?" Lithuania chuckled, wryly. "Seriously though...what we did then was to make sure everyone was alright...we didn't have any grand ambitions...we were still farmers at heart y'know?" Canada was quite easy to talk to, and no one really asked his opinion on things anyway.
"What about you?"

Canada waited till the Baltic was finished with his answer, then proceeded to fire off a shot, this one off by several inches. Apparently, his luck from the last few shots had faded, and he felt relieved at that, breathing out a content sigh. "You and Poland sound pretty close, literally, yeah." He laughed, a sound as warm as one of his pancakes fresh from the pan.
"Me? Ha, well, that's kind of hard to say, since I never really was an empire, per se. But if I had been...I guess I'd have fallen to the same thing as England and France did, sad to say. You know, that expansion-hungry feel." He shifted awkwardly, knowing that that indeed would have been true, as he did have a darker side to him that just didn't really come out much.
Now that the metaphorical ice had seemed to be sufficiently broken, Canada found that he actually felt quite comfortable around Lithuania, despite his trying to shoot the latter at first. He'd even gone on a rage and the other nation seemed to be fine with it. Smiling to himself, he shot again, landing the same distance from the bulls-eye.

"Hahaha, yeah. I miss him sometimes y'know?" Lithuania said sadly, before firing another round, which went straight through the previous bullet hole. wierd
"Oh...yeah I guess. We were generally quite safe from the other European empires...no one really wants to fight right on their doorstep. Well, except the Teutonic Knights. And Russia." Lithuania shuddered. "We never really got that...I guess cos we stayed in Europe so there wasn't very far to go haha." Lithuania glanced at the other nation and sent him a small smile.
He'd never really thought of Canada as the chatty type, but maybe that was just because no one noticed him enough to actually start a conversation. Lithuania would make a point to talk to him in the future.

"Mmm, I see. Actually, it was kind of the same thing for me too. I mean, think about it, there was only me and America on one whole continent. I used to visit South America, but then I kinda stopped because I looked too much like my brother, if you get my gist." He shrugged in a well-what-can-you-do? way and returned Lithuania's smile with one of his own.
Canada pulled the trigger again and hit even farther away from the white circle in the middle. "Thankfully there were a lot of people from different countries who moved here early on, so I didn't feel too isolated."
After a while, he realized that this was one of the longest conversations he'd had in a long time (discounting the ones with Kumameme), and felt that he needed to express that. He turned his head to the brunette and inclined it slightly. "Hey, Lithuania. Thanks for being able to see me, and talking with me too. I really appreciate it, man." And another warm smile followed.

"I guess...it's strange to think about that....North America is such a large continent compared to Europe...I swear your country must be bigger than it!" Lithuania laughed. "I'm guessing their relations...aren't the best?"
"Well, at least you had your brother right?" Lithuania fired again, but he just couldn't get the damn bullet to land closer to the mark.
"Hmm? No problem. Thank you for listening to me as well. Doesn't happen very often." They were in a very similar boat for that one after all. "Maybe the others are all over somewhere right now wondering why there are gunshots coming from an empty traning room! Hahah" The thought amused him rather.

Canada smiled. "Yeah, true that. But you guys have this whole multicultural thing going on, what with all the countries gathered in the 'continent-smaller-than-Canada.'" Sighing, he continued, "Oh yeah, definitely aren't the best international relations in the world. I'm pretty sure it's a lot stronger on in the South than for my brother, who is, as always, really, really blind to the atmosphere."
He blinked, then made a small face."I guess, but he...had his stuff to do, too. And I had mine. But yeah, these days we're still on pretty good terms, despite all that."
Chuckling lightly, he bantered back,"Don't mention it. Really. Nobody'll know who you're talking about." After observing Lithuania shooting, he debated whether to give the Baltic some pointers. It might look really imposing on his part, but then he had to admit that he himself was slightly more experienced with guns.
Tentatively stepping behind the other, Canada bent down a bit and murmured, "Hold it more to the crook of your shoulder, and try to keep your hands steady on the bottom of the barrel."

"Hahah I guess, Eastern Europe is so different from Western or Southern. You'd think they were worlds apart!" Lithuania tipped his head slightly and laughed. "That's an understatement! I don't know how he managed in the time between the Revolution and when I helped him, he's always so scatterbrained." Lithuania chuckled again, but remembed who he was talking to and stopped. "Sorry, I shouldn't say that about your brother..." he bit his lip.
"Well, thats good then!" he and 'his' brothers had a pretty shaky relationship...they had nothing in common.
"They won't listen long enough to not know!" Lithuania grinned, something he didn't do often.
"Hmmm?" Lithuania looked at Canada, then at his hands, before adjusting their position. "Like that? You can probably tell I am not a gun person..." He sighed.
