Shoes crunching at the dry dirt around the warehouse, Canada quickly made his way towards the shooting range, his C7 rifle securely in his hands. Since they were fighting zombies, he reckoned that he'd need to practice his gunnery as well. As for his dagger/knife...well, he didn't really look forward to close-combat, so he'd leave that for later.
Once there, he stretched a bit and then picked a target, the rifle already loaded since his departure from the warehouse. Distaste at the weapon in his hands crept over him, but he pushed it away, squinting. This was necessary. He made the first shot. It missed the bulls-eye by a few inches. Just then, Canada heard some steps behind him, and whipped around, heart racing, rifle aimed to shoot.

"Woah. Just me." Lithuania raised his hands in a gesture of surrender...before realising he was holding his pistol which he had bought out for some long range training, swords had always been more his thing. He gave a shaky smile at the other and letting out a nervous laugh.
"Oops haha. Canada...right?"

Blinking, he quickly lowered his gun, flushed with embarrassment. "O-Oh, Lithuania. Heh-heh...sorry about that, you just startled me, is all. And, and yes! I'm Canada!" It pleased him that he was recognized, and that the brown haired Baltic wasn't just talking to a floating rifle.
Taking a breath to get his nerves back to normal, he started "So what brings you here? Shooting practice? Yeah, of course...why else would you be here?" He gave himself a mental facepalm. There was even a gun in the other's hand, and he had to go and ask what Lithuania was doing here.

"Sorry, it was my fault I should have checked before coming here...I really didn't mean to startle you...sorry." Lithuania felt incredibly apologetic, he knew that Canada was a very timid Nation, probably due to the boisterous-ness of America that Lithuania knew all to well.
"Yes, I'm not really much of a gun person so I thought I had better get in some practise in case I lose my sword or something."

Great, the nation was now apologizing for Canada's own mistake! "N-no, no, no! N-not at all, Lithuania! I was the one who..who pointed a gun at you in the first place! Please, it's not your fault..." Swallowing nervously, he thought about positive things, nice things, that would draw his mind away from the awkwardness of actually meeting someone new. It didn't work. No surprise there.
"O-O-oh, wow, you fight with a sword?" His surprise and amazement clearly showed. Then he realized that he might sound condescending, so he quickly shook his head, saying, "Not that, not that that's weird or anything...I have a dagger too, heh heh! It's just quite interesting...is all." Way to go, Canadia.
Gripping his rifle nervously, he shifted from booted foot to booted foot. Should he break off the conversation and start practicing, or what? "Um, w-would you like to...train with me?" His eyes flickered to the distant row of targets and back to the Baltic.

Lithuania felt bad about making Canada freak out. "No really, it's fine!"
He recognised the other Nation's shock at still using such an ancient style of weapon in this day and age. "It's fine, I just prefer using a sword because I feel I have more control of it...and I've used them for so long...Most battles I won were with swords and spears not guns and bombs."
He watched as the North American swallowed nervously and shifted about, slightly startled by his request. "Of course!"

Nodding his head understandingly at Lithuania's explanation of his preferred weapon use, Canada reflected back on his knowledge of world history (which was quite complete, no doubt there). Indeed, Eastern Europe was once a medieval power, using swords and shields and weapons that inspired fantasy in writers and movie-makers.
Offering a smile at the other country at his acceptance of Canada's out-of-the-blue request, he moved his own gun to eye-level again and focused on a target. "Um, so, Lithuania...how's life going for you?" It was a lame conversation starter, true, but really, he didn't know what they could possibly talk about, their lands being a hemisphere apart.

"Hmm...it's alright. Poland is still being a nuisance, but nothing else much was happening...before..." Lithuania shrugged before clicking the safety off of his gun and aiming.

Curiosity piqued, Canada fired off a shot first (it went wide this time, as he wasn't really concentrating just yet), and then inclined his blond head towards the other.
"If...if you don't mind my asking, before what happened, exactly?" He might be prying, but maybe it was ok.

"Just generally before all of this." He shrugged, hoping Canada would know what he meant.
Lithuania took aim and fired at one of the targets, his shot zooming straight over the top of the pad.

"...I see." Canada shot again, this time the bullet burrowed straight through the bulls-eye, and he felt a mixture of surprise, pleasure, and disgust. That could've been someone, a human, a nation, that he'd just shot through the heart or the head.
"Mrhm, so, do you prefer to fight with a sword or with guns? For me, I think if I absolutely had to choose, I'd go with..." Actually, he wasn't sure what to choose between his dagger and his rifle, but after a moment of consideration, "I'd go with my C7. I guess I would rather not see someone...die up close." Plus, it seems quite satisfying to know that you killed someone without having them suffer. In fact, just killing people seems to feel quite- He destroyed that train of thought and cleared his throat with embarrassment.

"I definatly prefer my sword. I have greater control over it. As you can probably tell I'm not too good with guns."
He took another shot, this time hitting the target...but literally only clipping it.
Lithuania looked over and was shocked at the accuracy of Canada's firing abilities. "While I guess using swords and such does make it much more personal...I just prefer them. I used them so much more than guns and they just feel right in my hand."

Nodding, he replied, "Yeah, I kinda guessed that. It must be tough, though, seeing all the blood and gore and whatever right in your face. But swords take a longer time to master than guns, so you must be really good, Lithuania."
He paused for awhile, contemplating the fresh target in front of him. The red and white bands seem to mock him, crossing his eyes and throwing off his aim. In a sudden burst of frustration, Canada let off a round of six shots, creating a small circle right around the bulls-eye.
"Woah, what the-!" Panting, he dropped the gun and stepped back, eyes wide, very afraid.

"Wow. You're really good at that Canada! Maybe you should be a sniper instead of a medic." Lithuania gaped at Canada's amazing sharp shooting abilities. "I don't think that a sword could be harder than a gun, it's so much easier to wield. If you use it right there isn't any gore, blood yes. But gore? Not really."
Lithuania decided he would really try and focus this time. He pulled the gun higher up till it was in his line of sight then titled the barrel slightly, and shooting. This time the bullet hit below the centre, but closer, definatly closer. He allowed himself a small smile of success.

Still stunned, he swallowed and moved his mouth to say, "N-No, no, really, I like being a medic. That was just...very strange." Queer as it was, he couldn't help the same pride and fear come over him again. Ugh, I need to stop it. It feels too awful, to be able to shoot like that. It's probably because of all the changes happening right here in Canada...
He calmed himself and praised the Baltic, giving him a bright grin. "See? You'll be great with guns and swords in no time, Lithuania! Me, on the other hand, should definitely stick with healing if something like that is going to happen again. That's right, I should leave all the fighting to America and Russia and them, those people that know what they're doing.
"Yeah, those countries that are well-known for their power. Not like me, nope, not like me at all... He mumbled to himself, unaware that he was actually speaking out loud.
