Norway scowled at Spain a bit...America was the one who was being a brat about all of this! He was the one who was over reacting about all of this, shouldnt he be happy that his little brother that was getting married!
The nordic just stood there speachless at what the younger man just said. He didnt live with them...he was close to all of the other scandinavian countries...t-they were all like brothers to one another..."THATS A LOAD OF BULL!" Norway screamed. "I love him! I dont just want him for sex! If I did that then I would be with Denmark or someone! Not Canada...I-I'd never use him...and i know ok? I know that im not good enough for him...ok?'
He felt tears running down his face and he rubbed his eyes. Norway squirmed his way out of Spain's grasp and wiped his eyes and looked up at the American and just said, "I love your brother and I honestly want the best for him...and since you clearly know him more then i ever would, then fine. I'll tell him that our weddings off....happy now?! Your getting what you want at the expense of your brother's and some random nations happiness..."

Spain's eyes narrowed further and he walked over to the panicking Nordic, wrapping his arms around him in some form of comfort. "Ssshhh... Calm down. It's alright. Just take a deep breath and relax. I'll handle this, okay? There's no need to cry. No llores - do not cry." He took his own deep breath so he wouldn't just outright punch the younger nation and stepped away from Norway.
"Listen, America. You love someone, don't you? Of course you do." Spain strode up to him, hands in loose fists at his side in case it got violent. "Let's say you and this person decide to get married. But you're not sure how the others will take it, so you decide to keep quiet until you feel like it's the 'right time' to tell the others. Besides, you're in the middle of a supernatural war and can't really throw an engagement party. Also, you tell your partner not to tell your brother because you want to yourself. Do you follow me so far?" He paused, giving the hypothetical situation time to sink in. "Now, replace you and your partner with Canada and Norway. Canada wanted to tell you himself, but you found out by the grapevine instead. I know you're frustrated, but you have to understand that Canada probably just couldn't find the time to tell you himself. Don't take it out on Nor. It's clear to me - as it should be to you - that they love each other dearly, as shown by how hard Norway's taking this. You need to calm down America and think for a second. You and your brother are very close, do you honestly not trust him enough to eventually tell you?"

America gritted his teeth together for a second, wondering just how much trouble he'd be in if he punched Spain. Probably a lot, since Spain wasn't a country who would just take it. "Three weeks?" he asked, raising his eyebrows. "Three fucking weeks and he can't find the time to tell me? Seriously?" He glanced over at Norway, who seemed to be crying and, for a quick second, a look of guilt passed over America's face. He never wanted to make anyone cry. Heroes didn't make people cry. Heroes made people feel better.
But then he told himself that it was Norway's fault, anyway.
"And I'll bet they were dating long before the wedding was ever declared! What, he couldn't even tell me that? It's such a simple thing, you know? All he had to do was open his mouth and say, 'By the way, I'm dating someone'. I could have given him advice and...and I could have checked to see if Norway was the right man for him! He didn't even let me do that, though, because Norway won't let him do anything, because Norway's got him so damn whipped that he won't even talk to me about anything anymore!"

"¡Cállate!" Spain slammed his hand on the counter in an uncharacteristic bout of anger. "Have you ever thought that maybe he didn't want to tell you because he was worried that you'd react JUST LIKE THIS?!" He exploded, throwing his hands out to the side. "You might not of even given him the chance to! You talk all the damn time, America. For all you know, it could be your fault that he didn't tell you. He disappears behind your shadow, you know. Hell, he might even have told you and you just don't remember because you're too damn busy to listen!" He spat acid at the younger nation and took a few deep breaths before he snapped and did something he'd regret. "All I'm saying is that you need to get into your thick skull that this was your brother's decision not to tell you; you can't put any blame on Norway at all. And if it's bothering you so much, why aren't you taking it out on your dear brother?! This is between your brother and you; not you and your future brother-in-law!"

Norway cringed when Spain hugged him. He didnt want to be hugged...and when he heard what America thought of him he looked up and pushed the Spainish man away. He didnt need to hear the American ridiculing him about his relationship with his brother. He didnt have to take all of this from a man centuries younger and more immature.
"Fine! You'll get your wish! The weddings off!" Norway finally cried out as he stomped away. It hurt his heart to say that his wedding that he was exited for and was looking foward to and was happy to be with the man that he loved dearly. The nordic man wondered what Canada would think about all of this...he knew he wanted the marriage as much as norway did but...he guessed it wasnt going to happen...

"It isn't my fault!" America yelled back, angry that people kept placing all of the blame on him. "I would have remembered something as big as a wedding! I'm not that stupid, Spain! And if he couldn't tell me because I was 'always talking', maybe he should speak up some!" He clenched his fists by his side, resisting the urge to seriously beat Spain up. Oh, but how his mind was tempting him. Just a few punches and maybe some of his anger would be relieved.
But then he realized something. Canada really didn't ever speak up. He was always quiet, always insecure, and...do I really have something to do with that? Was he just worried of being compared? Was Canada worried that people didn't find him as important. America blinked then, unsure of why he was even starting an argument.
And when Norway stomped off, shouting about how they wouldn't get married, the guilt all came crashing down on America. Canada was to Norway what England was to him. And vice-versa, most likely. And when did I ever tell Canada about my own relationship? he thought, swallowing nervously. Well. Didn't he just screw up royally this time? "Shit, am I really this stupid?" he whispered, appalled at the thought that he probably wasn't being as smart as he thought he was.
Important matters first, though. He wasn't going to let Norway break his brother's heart. Biting his lip and making sure not to look Spain in the eyes (he felt utterly humiliated), America turned and ran after the Nordic country, then proceeded to tackle him to the ground, wrapping his arms around Norway's body to be certain that the fall wouldn't hurt as bad. "What did I say about breaking Canada's heart?" America snapped, straightening up just slightly and pinning Norway to the ground.

Spain started going after Norway (after yelling a bit longer at America), but the other got to him before he could.
"America! Get off him!" He grabbed said American by the collar and shook him a bit. "Are you loco?! There are other nations sleeping!" He whispered harshly. "It's fine if you're in the kitchen since no one's around there, but you're in the larger area and others can hear you! Have some courtesy!" Sighing, he let him go and tried to split the two of them up. "If you guys can't keep quiet in this area, then move it outside, okay? We don't need any more nations waking up."

Norway felt himself being pinned on the ground and he thought at first it was Canada since how the body felt on him...but when he looked up he saw who it was. "America get off!" He cried. He then saw spain running towards them and saw that he was telling them to move there yelling elsewhere.
"come on then." Norway said as he started walking towards the roof area. He hoped the American was following him since he didnt want to check behind him to even check.

America glared at Spain before turning around to follow Norway, staring at the ground all the while. What were they going to do on the roof that they couldn't accomplish in the kitchen? Yell? Fight? Cry loudly and blame each other for everything? He sighed, running his fingers through his hair. No. He was done placing the blame on others for now. He realized that maybe Norway did love Canada. After all, why else would they be getting married?
As they reached the top, America wrapped his arms around himself, trying to block out the cold. Having left his winter clothing inside, all he had on was a white t-shirt and some khaki trousers. Certainly not anything that would keep him warm. Without even waiting to see if Spain had joined them, without waiting for Norway to face him, America instantly started talking. "Listen, right now, I could care less about you. I still think you're keeping Canada from hanging out with me more. But..." He awkwardly cleared his throat. "You might be telling the truth. You might love him."
Ah, might wasn't the correct word. America sighed. "Okay, I think you do love him. Mattie, he...he's got a pretty good sense of judgement, you know?" He laughed nervously. "I just hate the fact that you're letting him keep this a secret from my. I mean, why are you hiding your relationship?"

Norway shook his head. "He wanted to wait until we had the wedding set up before telling anyone...and us not telling anyone about our relationship...well...we didnt want to be hounded with questions. 'How did you two meet? When did you two start having sex? Who was the one who proposed?' It would be just...to overwhelming...plus it would distract everyone else...."
The nordic looked down at the snow that was piling up on the ground and sighed, "I love your brother...I-I only want whats best for him...and he thinks that I'm supposedly the best but...you are right about one thing. Ill never be good enough for him."

"Like hell you're good enough for him," America agreed, shaking his head. "You'll never be good enough for him." He sighed then, biting his lips and looking away, still rubbing his arms together to try and create some friction to heat himself up. And this is why he hated Canadian water. So cold. Geez, he couldn't wait until it was summer.
Deciding to only concentrate on the matter at hand, he raised an eyebrow at Norway. What he said was rather rude and mean and certainly uncalled for. Thinking it over, he added, "But, I mean...I don't think I'm good enough for him. I mean...he's probably told you things he hasn't told me. And I think...I think that's because I probably don't listen to him sometimes. Like you said." He looked down at the ground, feeling more than embarrassed to be telling such things to Norway. "And if he trusts you more than he does me, you're obviously...better for him, I guess. Sorry." He chuckled. "I was acting like an idiot back there. I dunno, I just kinda feel...ignored by him, I think. Like maybe he..."
Like maybe he hates me, he wanted to say, but he hated seeming so insecure.

It seemed that everytime Canada wanted to get some sleep, there was always something going on. This time, he could hear noises coming from the kitchen, and the voices didn't sound too friendly. He couldn't tell who it was, or what they were talking about, but he still heard them. After laying in bed for what seemed like forever, he finally decided to see what was going on this time.
Of course, when he got to the kitchen, no one was there. Whoever was here had moved down the hallway. Well, now he was curious to see what they were doing, so he couldn't possibly go back to bed. He slowly trudged down the hall and up the stairs to the roof. Why would anyone want to go on the roof? When he got there, he spotted America and Norway. What would they be doing up here together? For some reason, he didn't think it was something good.

"Your brother doesnt hate you." Norway said with a small sigh. "He loves you...maybe more then he does me....we never really talk about things like pasts or anything but..." the older man couldnt finish his sentence....mostly because he didnt know how to....The nordic looked up to the younger nation and said, "He trusts you more then anyone."
He looked around him because he thought he heard something and he widened his eyes. "Canada?! What are you doing up?!" he asked in a loud and astonished voice.

Spain scoffed, watching them move outside.
"Really..." He sighed, rubbing his shoulders. "They're such a hassle..."
At least they wouldn't bother anyone there, he figured.
Though he was just about to head up when he saw Canada come down. At first he thought that he had only gone down to get something to eat, but when he saw him go the same direction Norway and America went, he knew something would inevitably happen.
"...Honestly..." he groaned, now going as a sort of 'chaperon' to the three nations. If Canada got into the mix, this was not going to end well.

Norway's words stung because America knew they weren't true. It couldn't be true. If Canada trusts me more than he trusts Norway, why couldn't he tell me this? the young nation thought, his self-pity rising by the minute. He was good at feeling sorry for himself. Ready to voice his opinions, to tell Norway just what exactly he thought of that, he looked up and, with shock, noticed Canada standing there.
If Canada figured out that America was confronting his fiancee, it probably wasn't going to go well. "C-Canada? Shouldn't you be asleep? Norway and I, we're just...talking and stuff! You should go back to bed!" He put on a wide grin, a completely plastic, fake grin, hoping to persuade his brother to just leave them be for now.
