Before Canada could help America up, Norway grabbed him and dragged him away from his brother, inside the safety of the warehouse. He wanted to help America up off the ground, he couldn't just leave America sitting there. He didn't need sleep, he wanted to apologize to America. His brother at least deserved a good-bye before vanishing off to bed. "But Norway, I don't need sleep, I need America to stop hating me."
America had been his whole world until Norway came along, they used to be so close. He would give anything to have that close friendship back, if only he hadn't hidden anything from America. He promised himself, that he would never hide anything from America again, he would tell his brother everything. "I'm such an idiot..." whispered Canada to himself.

Norway felt bad for dragging Canada away and sighed. Maybe they shouldnt get married after all....He stopped walking and stood there in the darkness of the warehouse. He tried to make out the younger man's form but his eyes failed him....The nordi let go of the Canadian's hand and finaly said, "Maybe we should just...put our marriage on hold....for your brother."
He really didnt want to but...if there marriage was making America this mad then maybe they should just wait....

America stared at Egypt for a second, more than ready to take him up on that offer, then realized that Canada and Norway would be in there. And he wasn't going to face them again. They could come out and face him, but it certainly wouldn't do for him to go crawling with his tail between his legs and asking for forgiveness. Hell, it wouldn't even do for him to go down into his bed and just go to sleep, even if he ignored the other two nations.
He'd make them feel so guilty for keeping secrets and being complete dickwads.
Sniffling pathetically, he shook his head. "No," he pouted. "I'm not gonna go in. I'm gonna sit out here and die of hypothermia. Then they'll be sorry they never told me!" He rubbed at his arms, Egypt's words getting to him- he was sleepy. A bed seemed fabulous, but he wasn't going to just give in like a good little country. Nope. He'd make Canada feel sorry for ever doing this to him!

Egypt disappeared quickly back inside, going back to his bunk momentarily to retrieve a blanket. He than walked back up to the roof at chucked it at America, nailing his square in the face with it.
"Here... *throws blanket* If you INSIST on staying out here then at lease wrap up in this first. It's made of wool and is very thick, it will keep you warm so you don't freeze..."
He then walked back inside the door, pausing just inside, looking back at the super nation with a soft smile that he rarely showed anyone.
"Please don't stay out much longer, it worries me to see others suffering." he pause eyes growing grimmer. "I would rather see you health that have you hospitalized with hypothermia..."
With that, Egypt turned, closing the door softly.

"Yes, I think that would be for the best." agreed Canada. His gaze wandered to the floor, and his body seemd to shrink just a little. He didn't want to put the marriage on hold, but he knew he could never go through with it if his brother wasn't there next to him. He wanted to see America's smile again, and the only way to do that was to head back up to the roof and apologize again.
"Norway, I can't leave America out on the roof all alone, I have to go back and get him. I don't want him to hurt himself, or catch a cold. You don't have to come with me, you need your sleep. I just want to make sure he's okay." said Canada. He looked back up at Norway, with apologetic face. Then he turned back around and started up the stairs to the roof.

America caught the blanket, thankful that Egypt actually thought enough of him to not let him freeze to death. Not that America was planning on freezing to death. He just wanted to get cold enough so he could act pitiful and so Canada would be filled with guilt. It was such a childish, immature, stupid thing to do, and he was quite aware of that, but he didn't know how else to get his point across.
"I'll come in later," the superpower mumbled as he smiled back on Egypt and watched him go back into the warehouse. Well...now he was alone. He stared up at the night sky, wrapping himself in the blanket and giving a sigh. Now he wanted to go inside. It was a bit scary out here, with the threat of zombies and the darkness that was enveloping him, but going in would be like admitting defeat.
Defeat from what, he had no idea.

And England was getting such a nice rest before the noise pulled him cruelly from the depths of his dreamless sleep.
"No..." he mumbled, as if saying something like that would change anything. "Go 'way..." he sighed, turning to the other side and curling up. He squeezed his eyes shut, unwilling to let sleep go.
It didn't work. Logic had overpowered his instincts again, and England was left wondering why there would be noise loud enough to wake him when, by all rights, all the nations except the ones on guard duty should have been asleep. There were only two options to consider: somebody had made a ruckus while trying to go pee, or there was something wrong.
England heavily leaned on the second option. And unfortunately, that meant that he had to get up and see what was going on. Groggily, he tossed around, convincing himself that it'd be a moment only, and rolled, groaning softly. His groans became swears when he rolled a bit too far and fell right off the bed. And then, he took a moment to thank the fact that he'd picked the bottom bunk. Alright. Time to go see what was going on.
Once he picked himself up, of course.

Egypt, who had gotten back to the ladder to return to the warmth of his bunk, heard distinctly British swearing followed by a loud 'thump'. As Egypt reached the last rung on the ladder, he poked his head up just enough to see over the ledge. What he saw was a very groggy England laying sprawled face first on the floor.
'He must have rolled out of bed by accident... probably got woken up by America's shouting...' The Mediterranean nation spoke out softly, just enough for the sleepy nation to hear.
"Are you alright, England? And I'm terribly sorry if America woke you... Him, Canada, Norway, and Spain had gotten into an argument but it's calmed down now." A soft smile spread itself on Egypt's lips. "and America is acting like a child by stating that he will not come inside and would rather stay on the roof."

England was still grumbling to himself when Egypt swung by his bunk to check on him, so naturally, he only hear the second part of what he said. namely, the part where America was being an idiot. Then again, when wasn't he?
"Goddamn't..." he mumbled, painstakingly pushing himself off the ground and leaning on his bed as he found his balance on his knees. "Stupid goddamn fucking twats... Tryin' ta sleep here..." he complained lowly.
And then, he registered that America was voluntarily freezing his ass outside because he, and his brother, of all people, had gotten into a fight. This would not end well. England had half a mind to let him freeze outside, but... he remembered his tasks and responsibilities and in the following ten seconds, found himself on his feet.
"I'll go get 'em..." because, if he knew his two former colonies well enough, he knew that they would not sleep through something like this. The two were inseparable and almost never fought, so if they had gotten into a spat.... they weren't going to leave its ends untied. "Go to sleep, it's past curfew..." he patted Egypt on the shoulder, and stretched before slowing stumbling away. "And thanks."

Egypt flinched slightly as England patted him on the shoulder.
"Understood, England." He watched the groggy Nation stumble way.
'I really do need to go back to sleep... I'm going to regret staying up so late in the morning'
With that the tired Mediterranean nation walked silently back to his shared bunk, took back off his shoes, leaned his staff back against the wall once again, and slipped back under his sheets to a welcome surprise.
'How my sheets managed to stay warm, I will never know....
Sighing softly, he slipped back to sleep.

Peeking out onto the roof, Canada shouted "Hello? America? Are you still up here?" It wasn't much of a shout, but he was only trying to get America's attention anyway. He scanned the roof, looking for the familiar figure of his brother. He didn't have to look for very long, it was easy to spot America, especially since everyone else had left. It was always fairly easy to spot his brother, America was always so loud, it was hard to miss him. Now, the North American country was very quiet, and still sitting of the floor. He felt a pang of guilt for not helping his brother up, and instead dragged away by Norway. He shuld have told Norway to stop sooner. America probably hated him now.
Well, there was only one way to find out for sure, he had to ask America. With a surge of courage, Canada walked in front of America and sat down with his legs crossed next to his brother. "I'm sorry I left, do you hate me now?"

America didn't want to register Canada shouting to him. Of course he heard it, but he simply buried himself deeper into the cocoon he had made out of Egypt's blanket and stayed there, pouting at the ground. He had been half-hoping Canada would come to him, so when he felt his brother sit down, he had to struggle to contain his happiness. He didn't want Canada to know he was happy. He wanted Canada to know that he did hate him and that he'd get hypothermia and then everyone would be sorry.
But those weren't the words that came out. Instead, America opened his mouth, took a glance over to his brother, then closed his mouth, choosing instead to slowly shake his head. It was nearly impossible to hate Canada, and America certainly didn't hate Canada, he just..."I'm just upset with you, is all," he mumbled sullenly, wrapping the blanket tightly around himself and glancing back towards the ground. "'Cause...y-you're just being a jerk-" You're spending more time with him than you are with me, and what if you forget about me, or what if Norway turns you against me somehow, and then you'll hate me and I don't want you to hate me... "-a-and you shouldn't keep secrets."
He felt super lame. Like, he was a 100% on his Scale of Lameness. He felt pathetic, his stuttering was probably pathetic, and those feelings that he didn't want Canada to know about were so, so pathetic.

"I know America, I know I'm an idiot." He knew it all to well. He hated himself for keeping secrets from his brother, and he knew it would never happen again. From now on he would tell America all about his life, if his brother wanted to know of course. He knew America could get bored with every single detail of his life, he wasn't the most exciting person. Maybe he should just tell America all the important things in his life. He would definitely gave to spend more time with his brother, he didn't want to grow apart from America over a fight. He didn't like holding grudges, not even one day grudges.
"I promise I'll make it up to you, in any way that I can. I'll tell you all about my life, whatever you want to know, just ask. I'll try to spend more time with you, it seems like I never get to see you anymore. I know I'm a bad brother for keeping secrets, but I want to make it better. I can't make it better if you don't let me. Are we still friends?" If America didn't want to be his brother anymore, he would understand, but could they at least be friends?

Norway watched Canada leave him alone on the stairs. He didnt want to move from that spot truthfully...he watched Egypt leave, and England go up. No one seemed to notice he was standing there by the wall...he was a ghost that everyone seemed to ignore...now he knew what Canada had to go through....slowly he walked up the steps and just stood by the door frame where no one could see him.
He wanted to know what was going to happen...maybe it was a mistake to even get married....

Were they still friends? America didn't know anymore. He didn't want to say that they were only to have Canada ignore him some more. Except he had ignored Canada plenty of times. Is this how it felt? Is this how it felt for your only brother to forget about you, to keep things from you? The guilt sunk in and America realized that he was telling Canada to stop doing the same things that even he himself wouldn't stop doing. He kept secrets, he spent less and less time with Canada, and he was a bad brother in general.
Swallowing nervously, America scooted closer to Canada, looking at the ground. "You...were you doing this to me on purpose?" he asked quietly, then glanced up, alarm in his eyes. "I mean, I know I deserve it 'cause I really suck at being your brother, but you can stop, and I swear I'll be better, and you don't have to tell me nothing 'cause maybe I don't deserve to hear anything about your life, not if I treat you like crap, and I do treat you like crap and..." He took a deep breath, biting his lip. Ah. His lameness was showing. Lovely.
To remedy the situation, he cleared his throat. "You're gonna catch a cold if you stay out here." Then he blushed, because that was so stupid of him to say.
