[[My titles are really stupid (and I accidentally typed 'my tits are really stupid'.)]]
With a sigh, America slumped over the wall, gazing out at the snowy landscape, his breath coming out in white puffs. Even if he hated them, he sometimes wished the zombies would appear. It would give him something to actually do, other than just sit around on the scouting tower. And he wasn't even a scout. He thought maybe he could see some action up here, since other nations were hogging the television and he had nothing else to do.
But, honestly, up here the boredom was only pacified slightly. Plus, he was freezing his balls off, so was it really worth coming up here? He should have just let one of the scouts do their jobs rather than try and take everything over.

Canada walked along the edge of the wall, looking for anything unusual, or really anything that moved. It was his job as a scout to watch out for any zombies that decided to come close to the warehouse. So far, he hadn't spotted anything, but of course he usually didn't see anything, and that was a good thing. To be honest, Canada was terrified of the monsters that had taken over his country and wasn't sure if he could actually kill what might have been one of his citizens at one time.
While continueing to walk along the wall, Canada spotted a dark figure just a few meters away. His right hand hovered over the pistol at his side incase it turned out to be a zombie. Although, it didn't act like a zombie, it was just standing there. Canada slowly moved forward, watching the figure closely. As he got closer however, the dark shape became lighter in colour, and started to look very farmiliar. This was no zombie, Canada realized his mistake when he had gotten fairly close.
He reconized the figure to be none other than his big brother America. What was he doing here? Canada knew for sure that he was no scout. His hand moved back to his side, away from his weapon with the threat of a zombie attack gone. Canada walked up closer to America and asked "America, what are you doing here?" Of course Canada could probably guess why he was up here. America would do anything for a little entertainment.

America spun around, his heart pounding even though he knew it was a fellow nation. Unless zombies figured out how to talk and decided to learn his name, which was actually a terrifying prospect. When he saw who the voice belonged to, though, he sighed. "Geez, don't creep up on me like that, Can...Canadia." His brother's name escaped him for a few seconds there, but he was proud to have remembered it. It really wouldn't do to call him 'you' or 'hey, look-alike' or something ridiculous like that. But, hey, for some reason, his brother was quite forgettable.
Rubbing his gloved hands together, America shrugged. "I don't even know. I thought it would be more exciting up here than it was inside, but it's really cold. How the hell have you survived such weather? Man, and I thought winters in New York were bad." He glanced back out over at the landscape. It's pretty, though, he thought to himself. With all that snow and...everything.
Facing his brother again, he gave a grin. "How about you? You got any reason for being up here in the cold? I thought I told everyone that I could handle it." His grin suddenly turned into a pout. Did the others actually think he'd do something reckless? Okay, maybe he would if some zombies showed up, but he wasn't stupid. He knew better than to get himself in a dangerous situation so easily.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to frighten you" apologized Canada, smiling at the thought of America afraid of something, being the self proclaimed hero that he was. Of course, he had to be afraid of something, didn't he? Even if his ego was too large to accept such a fact of life.
Pulling his jacket tighter around himself, Canada replied "I guess I'm just used to the weather, but it is rather cold out here tonight." Canada had to be used to the weather, otherwise he would have never survived for more than a month. Even though he was physically more weak than some of the other nations, he had developed a sort of amunity to extremely cold temperatures. Of course, the opposite was true for warm weather. He simply couldn't stand to be out in the heat for too long, or he would surely melt to death.
Unlike America, Canada had been following orders by being here. "I was assigned to be up here right now, I guess I missed what you told everyone else." Seeing his older brother pouting, he continued "Am I bothering you?" He certainly didn't want to annoy anyone with his presence. If it bothered America so much, he could always just continue his job elsewhere.

America scoffed. As if he could be frightened. What a silly notation! Still, though, he couldn't find a good way to respond to that without sounding nervous. He would just brush it off and know that Canada (not Canadia, his mind told him) wasn't meaning to cause any harm. Or, at least, he hoped not.
"No, you're fine," America assured, shooting him a smile. "It might be awesome to have some company, anyhow. You wouldn't believe how bored I was up here. And down there." He groaned, rolling his eyes. "If I was back at my own place, I probably wouldn't be bored, ya know? There was always so much to do." He laughed, remembering to keep his sound down to a minimum, just in case zombies were crawling about somewhere. "But, ya know, I shouldn't complain. Once we defeat all the zombies, I can go back home."
Of course, there would be a lot of rebuilding, in every country. America assumed it would take quite some time to get their countries back to the original prosperity. He knew he had forever, but his people didn't. If the rebuilding took too long, how many Americans would still be left alive? Well, I'll make sure it all goes super-quick, he decided. And we'll move them all back in as soon as possible.

Canada smiled back at his brother, he was glad to have some company as well. It got rather lonely scouting the grounds all alone. Besides, wasn't two always better than one? Wouldn't it be better to look for zombies with someone else just in case some decided to show up? Canada wasn't sure that he could handle them all by himself, he was no fighter.
Canada wondered what America was thinking about, what kind of things would he be doing at home that couldn't cure his boredom here? They had just about everything, t.v., video games, board games, food. What else did he want? "What else is there to do at your house, America?" asked Canada, curious to know if there was something he was missing out on.
Canada however, wasn't as optimistic as his brother. He knew that fighting the zombies would be a long and hard struggle, and he couldn't look forward to going home just yet. However, Canada was already home. Even though his land felt differant than before, he was still able to walk on his home territory. He knew how America must feel right now, how any nation would feel if they were away from their country for too long.

Raising his eyebrows, America gestured out over at the lands. "I mean, there's nothing here. I wanna get out and just...I don't know, visit a city. My country had the best cities in the world. Or...or an amusement park. Or a zoo. Or the ocean. Video games and television can only last me so long, you know." He snorted. "Despite how people associate me with electronics, I actually do like the outdoor world just as much, if not more." He smiled, just remembering all the fun he could have once this entire mess was cleared up, once his lands were cleaned and back to their original state. He'd invite all the countries to one of his parks. They could visit the Grand Canyon, and, afterward, fly over to the ocean and just hang there for days and days. No zombies to worry about, no nothing.
But he'd have to stay here for a little bit longer. He'd have to stay here and destroy all the zombies somehow. Even if he didn't want to, he knew that there was no way he could close his eyes and just wish for the zombies to be gone. He'd have to continue fighting until they really were all gone, until none of them remained.

Canada was a little insulted by America's answer. They had stuff too, like snow, and uh.... trees, maple trees at that. Ok, so maybe he couldn't think of anything right now but, he was positive that his country had just as much to do as America's. They had a beautiful landscape and nice people, surely their cities were just as good as America's cities.
Trying to cheer up America, Canada suggested "We could do something outdoors sometime if you want?" Frankly it was rather boring at times to just sit inside of the house, and a little fresh air would do anyone some good. "I could check to see if we have a ball around here." Canada hadn't been to good at sports, but he wasn't too terrible, so he would be glad to play a game with his brother.

America grinned, pleased that Canada was being a good brother to him. He put up with his complaints and yet he still acted kind and thoughtful. "Sure! Not anytime soon, though. It's way to cold out here to play anything." He stuffed his hands in the pockets of his large coat, shifting his feet. He had to move around a bit more if he wanted to stay warm.
"Football would be awesome, though," he commented. "That or baseball. If we can get enough nations to join in, that is. But most of them are European and would rather play soccer." America thought about that for a few seconds then shrugged. "Which I don't mind, actually." Basically, he was cool with any sport. Besides, the European nations were supposed to be pros at soccer. America imagined how much fun it would be to beat them and show how a real nation played.

Is was rather cold out, but it wasn't like there was a snow storm. However, he respected his brother's wishes and let it go. It would be more fun to play with the other nations anyway. "Then do you want to walk the perimeter of the wall with me?" Canada didn't want to leave his brother, but he did still have a job to do. This seemed like the best solution in order to please everyone. Besides that, walking might help warm up his brother.
Canada was a little nervous about playing football with America seeing as it was very violent sport. Of course if everyone agreed to play it, then he would have to agree as well. He secretly hoped that there wasn't a football lying around.

America quickly nodded. He was more than willing to do that- walking would help him warm up some and he'd actually have someone to talk to. He couldn't even remember the last time he talked to Canada. They used to be very connected, calling and texting when they weren't visiting, but ever since the zombie attack, communication had gone down quite a bit. America was busy and he assumed Canada was also busy, so he didn't really want to disrupt the other nation.
Beginning to walk, America made sure he was close to Canada. The closer he was, he knew the warmer he would be- body heat and all that jazz. "So, what have you been up to since..." Since what? He didn't really know what to call this whole mess. He never did. "...since life grabbed us and decided to screw with us, I guess."

Canada had to think about his answer for a while, everything had happened so fast. He shivered a little thinking about when he first learned of the zombies attacking his country. "I've just been doing what they other nations have I guess, trying to survive and forget about the zombies whenever I can."
Canada enjoyed talking to his brother again. It seemed that the world had wanted to keep them apart for some reason. It was nice to be able to stand next to America again, he had always made Canada feel safer. Anything that tried to get between them again would be sorry.

America nodded. Yes, that did seem to be the norm currently. None of the nations really wanted to focus on this massive problem more than necessary. They just wanted to do what they had to and move on. America knew that feeling all too well. He wasn't used to killing this amount of people, of citizens that once belonged to either his country or Canada's. It really made him sick, knowing that each zombie he shot used to live a happy life somewhere in North America. They probably had family and friends, maybe a lover. They might have been expecting a promotion or a child or just simply a new pet, and...
And now look.
Feeling a bit choked up, America nodded once again. "Yeah," he muttered. "Yeah, we all do kinda want to forget, huh?"

No matter how much Canada wanted to forget, no matter how much it hurt him inside to kill what was once a citizen of either his own country or his brother's, he still had a job to do. He focused on what he happened to be doing at the moment and thought of nothing else. He hadn't really thought too deeply into the subject, well not until now.
In fact, the more he thought about all the violence he had seen so far, the more sad he became. A single tear rolled down the side of his face, which he quickly wiped away. He positively could not cry in front of his brother, he could be strong too.
Regaining his composture, Canada asked "So what have you been up to?", hoping that he wouldn't regret asking. You just never knew what he was going to say.

America glanced over at Canada, noticing the sudden change in his facial expressions. He suddenly seemed a lot more sad. Maybe they were both thinking too hard about the zombies. Quickly making it a note to divert their conversation away from such things, America managed another one of his million-watt grins. "Oh, not much. Saving the world, annoying the others, same old, same old." He wasn't sure to mention England's near-death experience, or their sudden relationship. Who knew how Canada would react to that? Besides, what his brother didn't know wouldn't hurt him.
"We did discover a cure for zombie bites. I don't know how long you've been here, so I'm not sure if you were here for it or not." He felt bad that he couldn't remember when exactly his own brother had arrived at the warehouse. "Um...other than that, we've kinda just been...fighting zombies, bickering with each other, and...doing normal stuff, I guess."
And he was sure to add, "And I've always been the hero, no matter what we do. Just thought you should know that."
