((making up words is fun))
Canada smiled at America's enthusiasm toward the story and continued "Except the engine was called a glicane in the language that the alien's use. This made the simple American Lumberjack confused at first, but Tony soon explained it too him. When they inspected the glicane further, they realized that the velsores or wires had broken. Chris offered to bring Tony to a store where he could find some more velsores since Chris didn't know what kind that they needed."
During this whole conversation, Canada had been looking at the forest, watching for any movement. Luckily there hadn't been any signs of life yet. He could only hope that the zombies wouldn't appear, Canada was having too much fun with his brother.

[[indeed it is. XD]]
"Ooh, awesome!" America looked satisfied with the way the story was headed. "But, before they entered the store, Chris knew that Tony needed to disguise himself, 'cause the other people in the store would be all shocked and stuff when they see an alien, especially one with a name." America smiled as if that made perfect sense (in his mind, the aliens with names were the tricky ones). "So he gave him some clothes from one of his children- don't ask how they got them, I'm not good with logic- and a wig and some sunglasses and took him in the store."
He stopped, motioning for Canada to turn around and walk the other way, having already patrolled this area a few times. "Um...where was I? Yeah, in the store, they found some velaci- whatever you said. And it was actually, uh...string. Just plain, normal string that the alien spaceships could somehow manipulate into...wires." If the story started off making very little sense, now it was just ridiculous, but America was grinning ear to ear and waiting eagerly for Canada to supply to next part.

(( XD yes, they should write a book ))
Canada turned around and walked in another direction with his brother. He had forgotten that they were supposed to patrol more than one area. Having fun did have it's disadvantages, but it was worth it.
"The spaceship had a laser beam that could change the normal string into wires. However, the laser beams were out of fuel. The only thing that the laser took for fuel were trees. Chris, being a lumberjack, said that he would help cut down some trees in order to help the alien get back home. He took his ax, which he was somehow still carrying with him, and started to cut down the nearest trees."
Canada scanned the area, before continuing the story. It was getting darker outside, and he wondered how long he was supposed to stay outside. This was his first time scouting for zombies, and he didn't know how long they were supposed to be out here. Of course he would never tell America that this was his first time, he didn't want to seem inexperienced.
"Unfortunately, a car was driving down the road close to the forest and the person inside heard the lumberjack cutting down some trees. He was curious why a lumberjack would stay later than he needed to, and being a rather noisy person, he decided to travel into the forest."

[[It would be quite an epic book.]]
"Ooh, drama!" America was excited to continue this, now that Canada kept adding in more suspense and plot to the story. He had forgotten how the story had even started out, but he really didn't even care. It was going great and he adored this fabulous bonding time with his brother. "Alright, so the man walked down into the forest, keeping his flashlight out and shining it on everything possible, since he was afraid of the dark or something. Or what's IN the dark. Anyway, he's walking and walking and then he comes across the spaceship!"
He was a bit more dramatic than he should have been, but he couldn't help it. He always had quite the dramatic flair, after all. "Um...he sees Tony and Chris, and he starts freaking out, since there's also this huge alien spaceship, after all. Chris tries cheering him up, but the guy is just, like, totally spooked."

((and then the man took out a knife and killed chis and tony, the end. ;D ))
It was getting harder and harder to make up new stuff to add to the story. Canada's imagination wasn't as vast as America's, and he didn't know how much longer he could continue the story. Hopefully, they would reach an end soon. Stories can't go on forever, right?
"Ok, so the guy starts to freak out. They can't fix the spaceship while he is freaking out and he could attract more people. So Tony decides to use his mystical alien powers and...uh... read the guy's mind? Yeah, Tony decides to read the guy's mind and make him not afraid of aliens." It didn't matter that the story didn't make any sense, it was just a story. Besides, weren't aliens supposed to have crazy powers?
"So the guys introduces himself as...Joe. Joe tells them that he works as a mechanic and can help then fix the spaceship. He walks over to the spaceship and starts to look at it. He put the string, that had magically been turned into wires, into the engine. Joe informed them that they should start the spaceship to see if it would work."

[[Noooo!]]
America hummed a little in the back of his throat, trying to think up a good storyline for what was to come. He really needed practice in making his plots flow, that was for sure. "And so Tony and Chris get in the spaceship and start the engine and discover that Joe was awesome at being a mechanic, 'cause it worked. They cheered and Tony gave Chris a hug and they told Joe thanks. Joe left, since he had to go back home, but they first made him swear that he wouldn't tell a soul. So then Tony announces that he needs to go back to his home planet because his family really misses him. Probably."
He paused, glancing up at the clouded sky. "But he first gives Chris a gift, which is some jewel that he treasured. He tells Chris that it's worth a lot of money, that he and his family won't have to live paycheck by paycheck anymore. Chris is real happy and gives him a hug, and then Tony leaves, but neither of them forget each other." He smiled softly, then glanced over at Canada. "The end."

((you don't like my ending?))
"That was a wonderful story." said Canada and he smiled back at his brother. It really was a good story, better than the one he had almost told. Of course, anything was better than that story. America had a real talent for story telling. He could have never thought of using an alien as a character. America's imagination was far greater than Canada had originally thought.
"I'm glad that everything turned out ok, I like happy endings." With all this destruction going on around them, it was nice to hear a happy ending. It reminded Canada that someday, they would have a happy ending too. The zombies would be wiped out and life would go back to the way it used to be. He just hoped that he would be able to talk with America like this again when this was all over.

[[Dude, no way! I'm the type of girl that wants endings with flowers and rainbows and stuff.]]
"Yeah." America stopped walking, leaning up against one of the brick walls and looking out into the distance. "Happy endings are my favorite, too." He sighed, wishing there was a better view to enjoy. It would have been pretty if he wasn't worried about zombies coming out of nowhere and ruining the sight. He just wanted everything to go back to normal. He just wanted his own happy ending.
"Say, Canada?" He cleared his throat, unsure of whether or not he should ruin the mood with his question. He wasn't normally serious, as he much preferred to keep the other nations exasperated with his cheerful mood- it was far better than expressing his worries all the time. No, those he kept bottled up inside. But, since it was just his brother, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to ask him. "What...what do you think will happen to us after this is all over?" His voice got a bit more quiet. "Do you think we...we'll be as big and cool as we once were? What if people won't care about us and no one comes to live here and then we..." He shrugged. "I dunno what I'm even thinking anymore. This whole thing is just so surreal, ya know?"

((Fine, then the man killed Chris and Tony with a magical unicorn horn, better?))
After a little thought, Canada stood next to America and replied "I think eveything will eventually get back to the way things used to be. It will take time for us to fix our cities, but if I was one of our citizens, then I would want to get back home as soon as I could." At least he hoped that this would be the case. He was just as afraid as his brother that one day they might disappear, but it wouldn't do any good to think about all the bad things that could happen. Besides, wouldn't their people want to come back home? Didn't they want to get out of the crowded streets of Europe and go back to the way things used to be?
"I know one day we will disappear, eventually every nation dies, but not yet. I think we still have a few good centuries left in us, don't you think so?" Canada looked over to his brother to see what he thought. "If I have learned anything over the years, it's that Americans don't give up easily. We'll find a way to get everything back to normal."

[[B-but there's still death! ;A;]]
"If I was a citizen of the awesome U-S-of-A..." America paused, just imagining for a second what it would be like to live a normal life. "I would totally come back. Maybe it's just 'cause I'm a country, but you would think everyone would have the same national pride that we do ourselves. I just can't imagine living away from America like they're doing right now." Of course, the whole 'zombies are totally in my house right now' thing might cause them to lose some of the patriotic feelings they once had. They probably blamed him for it. If they knew he existed.
"Maybe." America groaned, running his fingers through his hair. "But nations can't die happy deaths. A nation dies because of war or famine or just the simple fact that no one gives a shit about it anymore, and then he or she will die alone and scared and hurt and..." America chuckled. "I used to think I had forever, centuries and centuries to live, but with this whole thing now...I mean, everything could fall apart and poof. Our time is up."

((exactly, my favorite kind of ending))
"I'm sure they will come back." At least he knew that the Americans would come back. Canada was easily forgotten, what if his citizens decided to live in America? What if they thought Canada was too cold and barren and never came back? Everyone had always liked America better. America would surely live on, but Canada was another story.
"You've still got me, I'll always be next to you." Canada walked closer to the brick wall and started to lean against it, trying to copy his brother. It was hard to make America feel better when he was having the same fears. America wasn't usually the one who needed cheering up. He always seemed to brighten up the room when he walked in, was this what he had been thinking about this entire time? Canada wasn't used to acting like the older brother, but he would try. "If we are going to die here, then I want to die beside you. You won't be alone."

[[Not mine! DX I like happy endings with joy and...and happiness!]]
"Sure they will," America said, wondering where the hell his usual optimism had run off to. It was times like these he was glad Canada was here. His brother managed to bring back the cheerfulness whenever America was down. He was one of the few nations that could just calm America down, make him think happier thoughts. Besides, what Canada said was true. Why would they want to live in Europe anymore? it was a crowded place now, filled to the brim with people, people, and more people.
America was a tad bit startled at Canada's next words, but they did warm his heart still. Canada would always be there for him. Even if America had been a dick in the past, and possibly even now (he wasn't really sure how he acted until afterward), Canada would just be there. "Thanks," he murmured, glancing over at his brother. "I'm just...worried, I guess." He hesitated for a second, then reached out and pulled Canada closer to him, wrapping his arms around his body and resting his face on Canada's shoulder. "You're the best brother ever, Canada." Because it was true, so very true, and America wanted Canada to know just how much he was loved.

((Alright, happy endings then.))
Canada was surprised when America put his arms around him and his body instinctively stiffened. He wasn't used to close contact like this, but it was only his brother after all. He relaxed a little and placed both of his arms around America. A smile crossed his face. America always knew how to cheer him up, even if he had been tring to cheer up America. "I think everyone's a little worried about the future."
Canada was even more shocked when America told him that he was a good brother. He knew it must be hard to admit your true feelings like that, or maybe it was just him. America was a wonderful brother, and he wanted to let him know that too. "You're a better brother than I could ever be." It was true, America had always been there for him. In reality, America was the only reason he wasn't still a colony. America was the one who was brave enough to stand up to England first. He wouldn't even be a country without him, and no amount of thanks would ever be enough to repay that.

America snorted. "A little?" he asked quietly, sparing a glance over at the landscape. He was always on alert now, in lands that he knew quite well. North America had always been that one place he could travel without anyone hating him. His lands, and Canada's lands, were his safe place. The cities were filled with people, the country was filled with wildlife, and nothing ever went wrong on their lands. And now he wasn't even safe in his own home. Hell, he couldn't even go to his own home without backup and countless weapons. The thought made him grasp his brother's clothes just a bit more, averting his gaze from the Canadian landscape and focusing instead on a wall of the tower.
"That's a lie, Mattie," he responded. "I'm not the best brother in the world. I forget your name all the time. I forget about you sometimes- name and all. I don't notice you, I speak over you, I never let you decide what you wanna do, other countries always beat you up because I'm an idiot, I never take you seriously, I boss you around all the time, and yet...you still put up with me." He drew back from the hug, a faint smile on his face, and gave Canada's shoulder a pat. "You're the better brother, silly."

"Alright, so maybe they are worried a lot." Canada was certainly worried a lot. If they ever got out of this mess, there would be countless things to fix and rebuild. The key word in that sentence being 'If'. It wasn't easy for a country to die, but turning into a zombie wouldn't help the nation at all. They would have to be put out of their misery for the sake of the other nations. Then who knows what would happen to their people. He wished that every Canadian and American were save right now, even if they did have to endure living europe for a little while.
"It's not a lie, it's the truth!" shot back Canada "I don't mind being forgotten, everyone does it. I've gotten used to it by now. It's okay that you tell me what to do, sometimes I don't know what to do myself. It's not your fault that we look alike, it's no one's fault. There's not that much to put up with, if you're trying to annoy me, then you you will have to try harder." Canada glanced over America's shoulder, just to make sure there wasn't anything behind him. The last thing they needed was the zombies to break in without them knowing it.
"I still say you're the better brother, I wouldn't even be a country if it wasn't for you. You gave me the courage to stand up to England by standing up to him yourself. I couldn't thank you enough for that." Canada wasn't used to saying what he wanted out loud, but to him, America was the better brother. Why wouldn't he just accept the compliment?
